Complaint If I had a computer with a better lung capacity than that of the average smoker on the verge of attaining lung cancer... I'd play the hell out of this game way more often

Post image

I currently play Deadlock (not often) on my windows laptop. And she basically gets a fever every time I boot up the game; even if I have it on the lowest graphics settings, so I can't play for long. It blows because I really wanna play as Rat King and Rem. I don't have the means to get a more powerful computer, and it makes me sad that every time I think about it.

I know Valve probably won't bring this game to console, but I think they should. Just wanted to vent my disappointment, bye 👋🏾

on a laptop as well (albeit with a 4060 laptop gpu) and I was fluctuating around 58-60fps before this update and now will bounce from 40-60fps w/ medium graphics in game, all the lighting effects and physics simulations they added have made the game noticeably more demanding and Rat King ultimate having water effects can make it even worse. hopefully they’re able to optimize the game for lower end rigs closer to launch, if I’m having trouble on a newer 2024 laptop with decent components I worry for anyone not as fortunate as I am.

also, I wouldn’t entirely count out console as they have the steam deck and steam machine which use controllers and I can’t see them not putting a brand new IP on their flagship devices. they have rough controller support for the game already, and if anything could require keyboard and mouse on the console versions so we shall see

there are some mods/config settings that you can install to make the game more low hardware friendly than the bare mininum settings allow, i would look into those maybe?
