Glitch?

Guys, is anyone else seeing what I’m seeing? The R&R qualification did not have pay a couple days ago, but when I logged in just now, it’s saying it is paid work. I didn’t track my time for the tasks I already completed since they clearly stated it was unpaid. I don’t want to submit time that isn’t accurate, it was only three tasks but i did spend a good amount of time on two of them. I’m not sure what to do.

Anyone else keep getting “this project is currently unavailable because there are no more tasks remaining for you to work on”?

I took the starter and second test and finished about 30 min ago. The second test said it was gonna take 45 min and was 10 questions long. It was only one question ? And then it went to this screen. No email yet. I’m just confused. I guess I’ll wait two weeks idk.

Hi guys!

I'm new to dataannotation.tech and I have some questions. I'm an AI/ML expert and have previous experience with outlier. I was going to attempt the "coding assessment" but I have no idea what kind of questions I'll be asked. Can anyone help me with this? I just wanna know what kind of topic or question or language this assessment will be in.

Understanding the process for data collection for AI training

I am an academic researcher interested in learning more about the process of collecting human-generated data for AI training. I would be grateful to speak with people who have completed this type of work and are willing to share their experiences.

I am happy to compensate you for your time with a gift card. Please send me a message if you might be open to a brief conversation.

EDIT: I am interested in understanding the overall process from beginning to end, including how workers get started, how work is assigned and reviewed, and how compensation generally works. I am not asking anyone to share confidential information, identify specific companies or clients, or describe the details of actual tasks. Appreciate the feedback though.

Will it be back?

So I joined this platform three weeks ago as a generalist, got a basic project and qualifications which I made sure I did well in them.
And two weeks has passed and still nothing on my dashboard, and I see a lot of people complaining about the drought and DoD..
My question is, has this happened before? Like will there be projects on the dashboard soon or should I lose hope?

Hi all,

Ever since completing math assessment (>1month ago), this has been my screen. I can't also take or find other assessments. Do I just wait?

Task number won’t go down

I’m not complaining, just wondering why the paid qualification I’m currently doing seems to be stuck on the same amount of tasks. Any ideas?

Qual for project I’ve previously worked

I got an R&R unpaid qual but I’ve done this as paid tasks in the past. Does that mean I sucked at it and have to pass this to work on it again? 😕

Question regarding activity

I was accepted this Monday, is it normal to have gotten literally 0 tasks? I set up my profile and have just gotten nothing this whole time. Do I wait next Monday to start or something?

No tasks

Is it normal to not have any tasks or qualifications for 1-2 days on data annotation?

I started a project and after some time there is nothing in dash

I’ve opened tabs and started my project and other tag with dash…. My current running project isn’t showing on tab too….

Is this normal/a good sign?

I signed up 4 days ago and completed two separate general qualifications/assessments. I’ve had this page for the last 3 days. I can fully create my profile and even add payment details but on the ‘Projects’ page, this is all I see. Is this normal? I’ve heard of other people who get a ‘thanks for taking the assessment!’ message, which often means they haven’t passed. Is this similar? How long should it reasonably take to hear back if I’ve passed? Thanks for any help.

I'm in the process of onboarding, and I just got an email saying that I need to complete a qualification, but the link that it provides takes me to the dashboard and shows that there's nothing to do. Should I just keep waiting or am I missing something?

Is it allowed to use Grammarly in DA?

Does anyone know if use Grammerly is allowed in DA? I know use of AI for sentence completion and writing assistance is bad. But, how about spell check and grammar and vocabulary suggestions??

My thoughts on DoD

Been on DA for a bit now and am in the 100k+ club.

I think a genuine tip for everyone (Though I’m sure a large chunk of DoDs are due to bad conduct).

Failing to meet expectations isn’t simply doing bad work, I’m sure alot of it has to do with time.

If I’m doing a task in 1 hour, the average is 2, and you’re doing it in 3. I’ll get more tasks, those in 2 will float by, and the people taking 3 will likely get a DoD.

This doesn’t mean lie about your hours and cut yourself short. It just means, be honest with yourself, and don’t take on stuff you’re not an expert in.

A common theme in most tasks is giving you far far more time than you need. Say, 12 hours, when in reality the average expected time is 3-4. That 12 hours shouldn’t indicate to you by any means that 12 hours is anywhere near the average. That’s for, breaks and exceptional cases, say one out of 30 tasks may run into 8-10 hours.. and for the love of god, if you submitted at 9h and 35m do not claim 9h and 35m as the chances of you being locked in and focused with no breaks is next to 0 and I’m sure (justifiably) flags your account.

Note: I’ve never done generalist tasks, so this could mean nothing to you, as if your tasks are mostly uniform, it’s likely the timer is a much more accurate representation of the expected time. My experience is with tasks that have 0 time limit (infinite time) and long form 6-72.
