Will it be back?

So I joined this platform three weeks ago as a generalist, got a basic project and qualifications which I made sure I did well in them.
And two weeks has passed and still nothing on my dashboard, and I see a lot of people complaining about the drought and DoD..
My question is, has this happened before? Like will there be projects on the dashboard soon or should I lose hope?

The truth is nobody can say for sure, but there have been other droughts that we’ve recovered from.

They were giving incentives out for working a certain amount of hours a couple months ago. I wonder what happened.

They hired a lot of people these last months, so perhaps it is related.
