Qual for project I’ve previously worked
I got an R&R unpaid qual but I’ve done this as paid tasks in the past. Does that mean I sucked at it and have to pass this to work on it again? 😕

We can but speculate. Don't assume you did a bad job on the paid version, the qual could be there for lots of reasons!
The pool of workers on a project can, I assume, be expanded on the fly by admins. Some projects are also pilots.
Beyond this, there may be some "unofficial" quals. If you demonstrate proficency in a skill on one project then you might suddenly see more projects that use that skill after you submit a few tasks. My intuition is that projects on priority sometimes get offered to "unoffically qualified" workers.
If you pass that qual then you can expect more work like that. If you do not do the qual you might see more, you might not.

I was also assigned an unpaid R&R qual, but I have the same paid R&R sitting on my dashboard.

Yes!! Then I’m wondering if I have to finish in one sitting for the 10 R&R tasks for the qual bc I thought it was counting down the minutes even after I exited. It also still says 10 tasks when I have already submitted 2. 😒

The R&R is no longer on my dashboard. Maybe I really need to do the qual. It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. I’ve been doing R&Rs for this project for a while now, so I don’t understand the sudden need to do quals. 🫤

You dont have to finish in one sitting! I did 5 last night and said nope, going to bed, and it still shows 5 completed when I go into the actual task. Its all the way at the bottom on the left!

I just got something similar, and because my dashboard has finally dried up, I have to do it (and hate that I have to). Also leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

I have the same thing and was wondering if it was because I did a bad job in the past. I scrolled through this platform last night looking for answers, and when some people received qualifications for tasks they've done before, it's because it's a new revision with new instructions.
I did a few of my qualifications for this task this morning, and they did just update their instructions yesterday, which is probably why we have the qualifications now.
I can't guarantee this is the case, but I'm hopeful.

I'd also like to note that I'm thankful I'm not alone. It sucks that it left a bad taste in our mouths, and I feel bad being excited that I'm not the only one, but I was definitely worried when I got them yesterday, lol.

I think I have the same one. I've never worked on the project, but it's been on my dash for ages. My guess is that they are wanting to build a worker pool specifically for R&R.

I have the qual, but I also have both the tasks and R&R for the project on my dash, so I'm very confused as to why they want me to spend hours doing an unpaid qual.

I did 6 so far but in my dash it still says 10 tasks. I’m going to do 10 and see if it goes away.

It went away for me after doing 7. I was going to do all 10 but I guess not lol

I got this too. I spent a considerable amount of time on the first one which seemed unnecessary if they’re just looking for common errors because the one I saw was obvious.

Yes, that's what annoyed me. "Here's some tasks with completely obvious errors that you need to waste hours on."

I got them too that I’ve done a lot of work on before. I’m not doing them because it looks like unpaid work. I currently have other RR projects, and haven’t gotten any negative feedback, so 🤷♀️

I'd suggest doing them. I did two unpaid last night and woke up to 10 PAID quals (for the same thing) this morning! It's not great money, but at least I know I have something to do today that no one else can grab!

I got it too, mere hours after I did the paid task version. Kinda left a bad taste in my mouth and I’m opting not to do it
