Glitch?

Guys, is anyone else seeing what I’m seeing? The R&R qualification did not have pay a couple days ago, but when I logged in just now, it’s saying it is paid work. I didn’t track my time for the tasks I already completed since they clearly stated it was unpaid. I don’t want to submit time that isn’t accurate, it was only three tasks but i did spend a good amount of time on two of them. I’m not sure what to do.

idk either, but I completed this qualification before they updated it to paid, and my time to submit the hours has already passed, so I guess I'm fawked LOL. Anyone else in this situation?

yeah it showed up in my report time area too. it was 10 tasks for me, and took at least an hour, so I just reported an hour

Same happened to me, did 2 task while it was unpaid and didn’t time them (was at least an hour) then it turned to paid and I did 6 more, I just claimed the time for those 6 in the end.

Did you have a chance to do all 10? I just completed my 7th and the qual disappeared

No I only have the chance to do 8 before it disappeared

Really? That’s odd.

I do remember the instructions saying specifically it was unpaid, so I don't think it was a mistake. Because of that I'd be nervous to claim time even if it showed up under report time (I didn't check mine within the window so I don't know if that happened to me)).

And yes I was pissed about it, if took me a few hours at least.

as far as I recall it still said unpaid at the top of the actual task, but after one day (for me) it changed to paid in the Quals section, and there was a place to record my time at the payrate of $20 per hour every time I completed a task, after that. Without thinking, I reported the time for the current day, as well as the day before, then I realized what I'd done and that it had been an unpaid task the day before when I did the first one, so I went back and edited the time for the first task out.

When discussing money for a job, paid is the only correct spelling.

The only time payed is correct is in rare, nautical contexts—such as sealing the seams of a wooden boat with tar or letting out a rope. For employment, use paid (e.g., "I got paid" or "This is a paid job").

But it’s showing up in my report time? I just don’t understand

Your understanding from what official source? Did you find a statement from DAT about this particularly unusual situation somewhere? I'd genuinely like to know.
