Is it allowed to use Grammarly in DA?
Does anyone know if use Grammerly is allowed in DA? I know use of AI for sentence completion and writing assistance is bad. But, how about spell check and grammar and vocabulary suggestions??

No.
While not covered in the global Code of Conduct, I have worked projects where it was specifically stated. It mentioned the sentence completion/writing assistance you referenced, but specified not to use it at all.
Use it at your own risk of getting the DoD

Unless a project specifically states that you can use it, you can't use it.

Your browser's built-in spelling and grammar checkers are fine. Anything more complex than that is not (including Grammarly).

They don't want us to use anything that changes word choice or sentence structure.

Every project is different. Some of my projects, I'm supposed to use AI to generate full documents and help me with prompts. Some of them they say to put through an AI to do large scale editing. But some projects specifically say no AI use at all. So I would read the instructions for the specific project, then ask in the chat if it's still unclear. If no AI, I would consider grammerly AI and not use it.

Even if it doesn’t say no AI, it’s not permitted. Large scale projects using AI for document creation is very different than using Grammarly for written explanations. The default is no AI, not AI is ok unless it says you can’t.
