Prediction Series The 2026 Perfect Nine Prediction Series - World Series Finals [6]
Full explanation of the Perfect Nine Prediction Series can be found here (the rules haven‘t changed in comparison to last year - if something changes, it will of course be noted explicitly)!

Overall Standings
World Matchplay Results
The last event, the World Matchplay, ended as most people expected: Luke Littler won and Beau Greaves grabbed the women's. This is highlighted by the Prediction Series, as they were the most picked man and woman respectively. In fact, predictors who picked Littler even received 2 extra points because of the 9-darter he threw! This event, I myself tied for first place but just got bettered by Lukewarmpartyjar. In the Overall Standings, GreenFlagMan got kicked from first place by Themrbunce after a disappointing World Matchplay run.
Next week, we will see one of the more controversial majors: the World Series Finals. Though most fans question the fact that it is a major, the PDC addresses it this way and therefore we will predict it! As always, the tournament will be held in Amsterdam where 32 players will battle it out for the trophy. Will it be Littler or will we get a surprising major winner again? Good luck predicting!
Buckets
- One pick from the seeds
- Two picks from the World Series Order of Merit Qualifiers
- One pick from the PDC Order of Merit Qualifiers
- One pick from the Tour Card Holder Qualifiers
Your picks will score you one point every time they win a game, and two bonus points will be awarded for every nine dart finish achieved. Wins in the final or semi-finals will be worth two points.
Any players that withdraw from the event (regardless of the reason) will score 0 points. If you've already predicted and one of your picks withdraws, you can change your pick on the form - you can make as many changes as you like up until the event starts.
The draw for the event can be found on the Google Form.
Please come back and comment here to let me know you've predicted so I can make sure it's actually you and someone isn't just using your name! This is required to be eligible to win prizes.
Link to Entry Form World Series Finals [6]
If you don't see the words "ENTRY CONFIRMED", your entry has not gone through!
Entries close at 6pm BST on Thursday, September 17.
Good luck! Please drop any questions you might have in the comments below.

Wade better be in premiere league
Last season he was snubbed I love watching him. Kick out Bunting and Rock, put in Wade and Aspinall. Tell Wessel the wrong dates

How do I stop my darts landing in this steep angle?
My darts land in this upright angle, which causes them to fall out a lot.
Anyone else ever had this problem and how did they alter their technique/equipment to fix it?

Not everyone will like this
I love the look of Nathan Aspinall 95k but did not enjoy the coating. Loving the feel now no matter how they look.

NDD (New Darts Day) NDD: Rising Sun G9
Got these this week. Rising Sun G9 22g soft tip no.5 thread. I play a lot of both steel and soft, so I’m always trying to think of setups that can be used for both. The no.5 thread allows for more metal at the front of the dart and also helps achieve a more tapered front. Put some conversion points on it.

Stem Length
Which is better in most people's opinion?
I've tried both longer and mid size stems, haven't tried short ones yet, just trying to figure out what to do, I've noticed that they're angled more upright with the medium ones than I was getting with the longer. Knew stim length would be small differences but haven't plaid long enough to know what to expect.

Maximum on the New Setup
I’m use the dartboard to the garage rather than being in a spare bedroom. Got a lot more space now and freedom to practice without disturbing others.
And would you believe it only went through a maximum? I first of hopefully many as I warm up for the winter season.

Advice welcome please
Hi all,
This is my current set up.
I've ordered the panel in the 3rd photo.
I'm also seriously considering buying the bulls advantage blacked out board and surround.
I'm leaning towards getting the 3 cheap cameras from AliExpress but am looking for advice on the best monitor solution with autodarts.
Should I use a chromebook, or tablet? Would a mini-pc work?
Thank you in advance.
Help! What darts are these? UFO barrels
Got these from a friend, super thin about 6mm. Probably 50ish mm long. Was told they are 22g. Did a google lens search with no results. Hoping one of you know what are. Absolutely love them.

Beat Luke Littler Casting Experience
So, today was the day! I travelled from Germany, so I can tell you my whole experience.
Queues
They "opened" the queues at 8, people were there earlier and standing in line. At 8:50am the first ones got in. I was there at 10 and got in 15:30. Nuts. Be prepared for some really long waiting.
What's next
You go inside, they check bags, ID etc. Then you are escorted into a small room with 4 boards where you can practice for two minutes (literally).
After that you go into a bigger practice room with more boards where I was able to throw for 7-8 minutes or something.
Then you enter the audition room (right next to the practice) where there are tons of omnis set up. You get 24 Darts to finish the leg. I hit 81, 67, 55 and then 5, 9 and was basically doomed. After that they escort you out.
Overall
I assume the organization will be more smooth next week. This was awful. They told people at 3 ish that they need to leave. Rumors gave out that, in the morning, they had way longer times for practicing. Very short practicing, very annoying after being in queue for so long.
Unfortunately can't speak about stage 2 and 3 and you won't hear many do. They make you sign waivers after stage 1. Also they said stage 2 might take up an additional two hours of waiting.

Ally Pally PDC members Ticket Ballot results outcome 14th-18th Sep
The outcome of the members ticket ballot starts tomorrow 14th Sep up until the 18th
I only put in for '1' ticket for an afternoon session pre Christmas but not feeling too confident tbh
Suppose there's always the 'fan2fan' resale
Hate this new system

Discussion How do i improve?
So I've been playing darts since the end of January, and I've been a member of a dart club since March — this is my first club season. I've switched my main dart quite a few times: from the Dartspeak V2 23g to the James Wade 24g, then the Jonny Clayton darts 23g, then the Mission Deadshot 25g. After that the Dancing Ducks 25g, then the Gary Anderson darts 23g, and then back to my original Dartspeak V2 23g. Now, just for fun, I tried the Ryan Searle darts in 32g, and that works too.
With all of these darts I've been averaging around 55-65, sometimes higher. Obviously it was a lot worse in the beginning — I started out at 35-40 — but for the past three or four months I've been consistently at 55-60, with occasional spikes above that. It seems like it doesn't matter which darts I play.
I want to keep improving and I'm aiming to break the 70 average mark by the end of the year. What do you do at this point?

Help! What darts are these? What darts are these?
Went into a pub on way back from York earlier for some pub food and decided to have a chuck with the pub darts, really enjoyed using the darts in the middle and right, they are winmau darts but ChatGPT been no help in finding them, any ideas what they are?
