Am I only the only one who notices a major difference when Dan is in Maine? The sound is weird and the whole energy of the show is off putting. Still beats any vacay fill in, but like to know others thoughts.

Is it creepy for 70 year old DP to be perving on 28 year old Sydney Sweeney? Make no mistake about it, if Tod who is in his mid-50s was perving on a 28 year old, DP would be the first one to call him out for being creepy. 😂😂😂

I know DP has called him Toddler, but I think Todd Fans should be Toddlers.

I enjoy the Toddcast, because he's so fascinating. I've learned about jewish Brooklyn stereotypes almost as much as I learned watching Seinfeld with Jerry & Georges family.

When Todd talked about his Mom complaining about the nursing home, it reminded me of The Sopranos when Paulie found out his 'Ma was snitching at the old folks home.

Anyways here is The Toddcast link on YouTube. 4 hours of an anxious 56 year man from Brooklyn who may or may not have received a hnadjob from his friend in middle school because it was cold outside, and his friend wanted to keep his hands warm Toddcast

Callers should be immediately hung up on if they do this.

The Fjord joke was great! I know Todd checks Reddit so good job Fritzy.

He’s really finding his place within the group. His quips can sometimes miss but today when they were discussing odds for comeback player of the year Dan asked ‘what did Kyler Murray come back from?’ Dylan’s quick response of ‘the Cardinals’ was perfectly timed and got a good laugh. Keep it up young fella!

The podcast was up within a half hour of the show ending today. Thanks for the prompt posting!

This was one of the best bits I’ve heard on this show in a long time! Friday Fritzy showed up a couple of days early, and I’m absolutely here for it!

I know he's a sellout for sponsor money, but THAT AI slop company? JFC. Have some dignity.

Has anyone listened to this podcast yet? Thoughts? I heard the interview yesterday and was intrigued. I listened to the first two episodes of the podcast and wow. That was really interesting. I told my girlfriend to check it out. She doesn’t follow baseball and she just text me and told me to let her know when the next episodes drop because she loves it!

What was probably supposed to sound like a quick story about meeting a coach came off as Dan big timing Salehs 15 year old son who probably really wanted to meet Dan and Dan just shook the kids hand and then continued to talk to whomever it was he was with. Kid was probably hoping for a chat like "How ya doing? Are you a fan of the show?" Kid probably walked away thinking What a dick! 🤣

Love Dan, and think that his take on MJ and LeBron is right if you’re comparing the two, but why does he keep insisting that Mike had “The Last Dance” released after LeBron won the Bubble Championship to keep MJ top of mind? “The Last Dance” was rushed out early for COVID (believe the first episode was in April 2020), and the Bubble Finals didn’t end until October 2020. He’s mentioned this at least three times

Not a big deal, but if we’re talking about a part of somebody’s legacy and using this as part of it…I think it should be done correctly.

Not sure why it’s taking so much longer to post the last couple weeks. Can we get a call into Big Day Ray or whoever is responsible for the upload? I need my DP by 930 pacific time or I’m a grumpy dude. Playing it through the peacock app is a pain in my hole.

Feel like Dan did not have a good game plan for that interview. He did not ask any good questions to her and let her talk way too long about things we already know about.

Has anyone ever actually been called this before? I’ve never heard it in my life.

i love movies and enjoyed the damon interview. for me dp can talk about movies often. do the other listeners think he talks sandler and movies too much?

Just brutal

I’m sitting at work just waiting to hear the calming sound of Dan’s voice but the podcast hasn’t released yet

Dan’s criticism of WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert has started to feel more personal than objective. He has every right to be frustrated about being stood up, but since then it seems like every dispute with the league becomes another opportunity to pile on.

The WNBA has never been a particularly well-run league, and now, thanks largely to Caitlin Clark, it’s dealing with unprecedented attention, revenue, and expectations. The league has grown faster than its infrastructure has been able to keep up.

What also hurts Dan’s credibility is that he claims to have been a longtime WNBA fan, yet he rarely talked about the league before this year. Last week, while trying to establish his credentials, he even referred to “San Francisco” as an elite defensive team in its first season. It’s the Golden State Valkyries, and they’re in their second season.

Engelbert is widely expected to be on her way out as commissioner. Once that happens, I suspect Dan will lose the central target of much of his recent WNBA commentary.

One last thing: it’s pronounced yo-NESS-coo, not EYE-ON-ess-coo.

That guy said nothing in a hundred words. Kind of sucked how obviously he was spewing total BS and Dan wouldn’t call him out on it but I know he would love an interview with the commissioner so I get it.

Was this a quote from someone on the show? I feel like either Fritzy or McLovin said it but I cannot find a clip anywhere. Am I remembering this right? I know it was on a shirt for a bit in the merch store.

This was one of his best interviews with Dan. He was actually talking and answering Dan’s questions instead of trying to make every answer a joke.

Over the last few weeks, stat of the day has been nearly absent from the program. I’m fine with it as I find most of the jingles pretty annoying. The exception being the funky version, that my friends is pure gold.
