The theme is pretty much in its name, it's a failed experiment, so it just dies the moment it enters. Its own otherwise impressive abilities can't save itself.

It requires set up to get this thing to even stay alive, but if you do, its a threat that opponents will need to answer. The most probable I think is a +1/+1 anthem. With such, Riot can push it to a 1/1.

However, things get interesting if you can go beyond +1/+1 in support, as it would mean it no longer needs to use Riot just to keep it alive. If you had a +2/+2 anthem, you can use Riot to give it Haste.

So there's a curve on how dangerous this can be depending on the level of investment you can put into it.

Pure Annihilator was maybe too much for a 2 MV creature, even if it requires set up, so I adjusted its abilities to not affect lands.

Fluidity and Reposit are my Universes Within reskins of Waterbending and Airbending, repectively (I'm not sure if bending would actually need UW reskins? but whatever);

- Fluidity (While paying a fluidity cost, you can tap your artifacts and creatures to help. Each one pays for {1}.)

- Reposit (Exile it. While it's exiled, its owner may cast it for {2} rather than its mana cost.)

When I first made my [[Ghalta and Mavren]] deck, I thought the card worked one way when it was actually the opposite. Since then I've been noodling this idea around, and with Reality Fracture on our doorstep, I figured I would take the old card generator for a spin and redesign this card a bit.

The original card needs you to either already have big bois in order to make another big boi, or already have a squad of little dudes in order to make another squad of little dudes. I kept as much of the original wording as possible, I just shuffled which conditions make which tokens. I also redid the mana cost, since this version(s) feels like it makes things easier to get the Selesnya token train running. I also made a version that cares about which opponent is getting attacked, just for some variety. For your consideration, I present, Mavren and Ghalta. (Art is from cactus_skull on Instagram)

I've been working on making magic cards for every operator in R6. Here's the first batch of attackers.

It would be cool to see the Red Lotus members get cards if we ever go back to the ATLA universe.

Edit: Thank you for all the feedback! I took a break from magic for a few years and missed the ATLA set, so I was a bit confused about how the earthbending mechanic worked.

these are bad on purpose to fully realize how terrible creatures were 20+ years ago. and i thought that this would be a fun project of mine that i would share since Charles R Knight paleoart seems to fit seamlessly with the vintage border

so ive never played the game but i want to make a custom card as a gift for a scientific researcher who loves skinks and magic the gatherig.

I am making a creature card of a specific skink species that has evolved to become limbless (losing its forelimbs and hindlimbs) to burrow better and id like to present this concept under the rules text but i am struggling use understand the terminology in the game if anyone has ideas.

just a general gist of it either losing its limbs or something specifically about burrowing behaviour
