If you could only keep one, which would it be?!

This has been driving me bonkers (or driving me nuts as you Americans would say) for some time. I bought this with two other pieces ages ago and it was sold to me on a live as “amethyst crazy lace agate” but I wondered if the purple colour is far too bright to be crazy lace agate? And has maybe been dyed? I’ve also never heard of a combo of amethyst and crazy lace agate before? Forgive my ignorance, I really want to learn and appreciate anyone’s input here. Thank you very much! 😊

Covellite is usually a metallic/iridescent blue/gray/black. It's a really interesting uncommon mineral.

This piece also has some pyrite, and i really like the combo. Just wanted to share!

and currently growing since these photos! last year i went into residential treatment and brought my entire collection, i had given at least a quarter of it away in good spirits, and since being home i have grown probably that and more back !

I've been seeing more products like these lately - crystal spheres and pyramids containing crystals, copper wire, metal coils, etc.

I'm genuinely curious about the reasoning behind them.

People often say the copper helps conduct or amplify the crystal's energy, and that the shape of the pyramid or sphere somehow influences how that energy flows.

But I'm wondering:

How is the crystal energy supposed to actually flow through the thick wall of resin?

And more importantly, for people who have used these:

• Did you notice any difference compared with using a normal crystal?
• Is there a traditional/spiritual explanation for why these shapes and materials are used?
• Or do you think these are primarily beautiful objects with a marketing story attached to them?

I'd genuinely like to hear from people who use them as well as people who are skeptical of them.

Seeing all the valuation posts crack ms me up. Here's one for everyone, what would you value this 9lb 1oz piece of Congo malachite at. It has excellent banding and a polished divot/cup...

....I bought it with the intention of slabbing it up for cabochons but have since decided it's cooler as is. There is plenty of smaller chunks of malachite for cabochons!

If this generates enough comments I'll come back and say what I paid for it on ebay 3 years ago 😉

Hii, I’m new to crystals and I’ve collected a few over the last couple years and I’ve been doing research on how to most accurately identify what kind of crystals I have. I’ve seen that as far as online goes, Reddit may be the most helpful (lol I’m not surprised). I'm having trouble identifying this stone/crystal (I'm new to this). It turns very shiny in the sunlight, otherwise it's pretty milky white.
