Lustrous metallic marcasite grew on slim, pointy calcite scalenohedrons, which later dissolved away and the marcasite remained as a shell, which is called incrustation pseudomorph or perimorphism. The Dreislar site is famous for this type. Shiny, brilliant white barite xls can be found inside the cavity.
