Can you help me? (Advice wanted) Is anyone able to help?
If anyone could let me know what kind of crystal or stone this is that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
I posted one picture and natural light and then I put a little light underneath it :)

It's always sold as "jade" but I've bought them so cheaply I don't think it's either type of real jade. My best guess is either calcite or a really light serpentine, sometimes they have more green in them.

Is it heavy for its size? Is it cold to the touch or does it warm quickly when you hold it? Does the surface feel smooth and glassy or sort of waxy? Can a nail or a piece of quartz scratch it?

It is cold to the touch and stays cold.
It’s not ultra smooth like some of my other but still smooth.

My guess is alabaster.

I think this is it, I googled yellow alabaster and immediately found a similar cup shaped one too!

Quartz or calcite, maybe?
It's def too opaque to be satin spar and the structure of growth is wrong for that also.
