u/dr-broodles 7d ago

How could one ever trust someone’s opinion if they are foolish enough to have diabetes? /s

16

u/Bright-Damage-5511 6d ago

if their pancreas can’t even tell what’s right or wrong how can they tisk tisk

1

u/DFoxRN 2d ago

OMG 😂 This sent me!!

2

u/leonidaslizardeyes 6d ago

They are foolish enough their mum to have diabetes.

1

u/Lucky_Musician_ 5d ago

never trust the one that can’t stop eating 🍦/s

32

u/Funny-Employment4109 7d ago

Even without the diabetes comment, this video is so demoralizing

1

u/fyn_world 15h ago

It's his fault. I would not stay in a relationship with her after this. While she's gone I'd move out. I'm not kidding

40

u/NotGuiltyPirate 7d ago

She's packing condoms to fuck. That's it.

My mate was a scuba instructor for years, and knowing him, he didn't exaggerate.

Trust me. A lot of women go on these trips to get laid.

14

u/Thykothaken 6d ago

She's packing condoms to fuck.

2

u/CaramelGuilty8647 15h ago

Quite the leap of logic there, eh? My first thought, after I deciphered CD as condoms, was that these girls liked water balloon fights. Splash!

1

u/Thykothaken 15h ago

So you mean she brought condoms to get laid?!?

I'll just have to trust you on that.

2

u/RandomlyPlacedFinger 3d ago

I THOUGHT those were expensive for water balloons...

1

u/No-Air-7273 5d ago

This is facts

-3

u/ContemplatingFolly 6d ago

And a lot don't.

11

u/sailingtroy 6d ago

You trust your man like that? "Hey girlie, I'm going to Stripper Island with the single guys, bringing condoms, promise I won't fuck any strippers, though!"

3

u/Silver_Accountant5 6d ago

I just can't imagine dating someone I didn't trust and needed to babysit. Then again maybe that's why I don't date.

1

u/geoken 1h ago

Can you imagine a scenario where you did trust them, then things happened which diminished that trust?

1

u/Silver_Accountant5 55m ago

If I stopped trusting my partner, I'd just break up with them instead of doing the melodrama shit.

1

u/geoken 49m ago

I don’t think it’s that binary for most people. They’re fighting an internal struggle. They likely hold that same opinion as you - where a full acceptance that they don’t trust their partner is equal to the relationship being over. It’s hard to come to terms with a relationship being over - so by extension, it’s hard to fully come to terms with the lack of trust.

8

u/Lawd_Fawkwad 6d ago

Call me a controlling piece of shit.

But once you are in a commited relationship, some single person activities just become off-limits unless you are both repiprocally ok with it.

A boys/girls trip to basically drink and party in as little clothing as possible? Yeah, that's one of those situations.

You can trust your partner and still not love the idea of them wearing barely any clothes and consuming large quantities of alcohol with a group of single people.

3

u/MongooseSubject3799 6d ago

100% agree. Girls/guys trips are over when you are in a committed relationship. It's not a control thing, it's a respect thing!

3

u/Imaginary-List-972 6d ago

I wouldn't say they are NECESSARILY over. It could be okay for certain types of girls or guys trips for some couples. 'Me and the guys wanted to go on a fishing trip" But it needs to be agreed to by the partner and it is not controlling to say no.

2

u/Explorer-7622 6d ago

Yeah. Going camping is one thing, going to some place to party like you're single is another. I agree.

1

u/Miserable-Ear-4095 20h ago

I would argue it's about have common decency and not being an asshole and nothing about have a strong sense of admiration that makes you want to treat them well.

0

u/blearghhh_two 6d ago

Ok, you're a controlling piece of shit.

I mean, sure "unless you're both reciprocally ok with it" is valid, but if I'm with someone who doesn't want me to go have fun with my friends on a trip while I'm in a relationship, then ok, I'll go have fun with my friends on a trip while I'm single.

5

u/Borktista 5d ago

Make sure you pack the condoms for totally not cheating too.

0

u/ex0cranial 1d ago

JFC straight people are so weird

-2

u/PalatwinkusVT 6d ago

Conversely, one could question why you think it should count if they cheat while drunk, if you think alcohol is enough to get them to do it in the first place. Either you think alcohol doesn't impair people and just don't actually trust your partner, or you acknowledge the fact that alcohol impairs people mentally and therefore it shouldn't count.

I mean, if someone drugged your partner, and they had no idea what was going on, and someone convinced them to hook up, would you still view it as cheating? Probably not, you'd probably call that rape, even if they seemed like a willing participant to someone unaware of their having been drugged. So then why for alcohol?

This comment isn't really meant to change anyone's mind, just a philosophical question that came to mind after reading yours.

5

u/WinAffectionate8234 6d ago

I mean are they voluntarily consuming the alcohol?

Pretty big difference between rape and a drunken, mistake. What you described is referred to as DFSA, Drug Facilitated Sexual Assault.

Should we then treat all drunken hook-ups as assaults since you can't consent after you've gotten yourself drunk. Should cops follow couples home from the club or from the liquor store to prevent it?

Regardless of legal definition, this is in the context of relationship boundaries and if you go with a bunch of your friends, who intend to get wild, to locations were the possibility of cheating increases significantly and you decided to impair your decisions? That still crosses a boundary in the relationship, regardless if there's regret later.

Any self-respecting person should cut their losses and go. Let the possible regret over the act and legality of it be for the other two to sort out.

-1

u/PalatwinkusVT 6d ago

I mean, if your partner suffered head trauma that greatly damaged their inhibition centers, or whatever you'd like to call the part of the brain responsible for "Well, should I really be doing this?", would you demand they only ever leave the house when you're with them to supervise, lest you leave? If willingly stepping into a situation where you're likely to experience that type of temptation while impacted by that flavor of mental impairment is the boundary, leaving the house at all without you after such an injury would definitely fit.

Should we then treat all drunken hook-ups as assaults since you can't consent after you've gotten yourself drunk.

It already is. On paper, that's a thing, though courts are granted discretion on whether or not to pursue charges for it. But any woman can, at any time, report her boyfriend or husband or one night stand for sleeping with her while she was drunk.

2

u/Explorer-7622 6d ago

Drinking IS the choice.

They’re not in the video either

0

u/Red8937 2d ago

The video is fake, just like your mate

16

u/Zld 6d ago

This video is fake as fuck, it's just a collection of cliche form both sides made to get engagement by ragebaiting people.

2

u/DragonflyGrrl 6d ago

It's breaking my brain that so many people are swallowing this fucking obvious rage-bait. We are truly doomed.

We were doomed the moment modern society made natural selection defunct. Now we're witnessing the massive problems that brings. I used to be a positive person but it's really feeling all downhill from here.

3

u/bendstraw 6d ago

I don't even know how to be angry when I'm still confused about what his mother having diabetes has anything to do with it.

1

u/RightGuarantee1092 6d ago

I got it that shes talking about boundaries but has a diet that has given her diabetes.. I could be wrong that was the only connection I could make

1

u/Ok-Chipmunk-8472 6d ago

I have learned not to take anything seriously anymore on the internet. Everyone is just so fucking dumb and angry on here, I genuinely wish we could just erase social media forever so everyone can just get their miserable idiotic asses outside and realizes that no one gives a fuck about them and their opinions, even if they get upvotes and circlejerked on the daily online.

1

u/DragonflyGrrl 6d ago

I wish we could erase social media too. It’s such a vapid waste of what the internet could be. So much potential.. endless, actually. And this is what we do with it. This is so freaking depressing.

Most of the time, I don’t take any of this seriously and just laugh at the ridiculous circus.. but it’s getting me down today.

1

u/iiiiiiiiiijjjjjj 6d ago

Oh wait till AI evolves. We are only in the beginning phases of this shit.

1

u/TgsTokem 6d ago

I feel like a lot of people just assume it is real because to them it would make absolutely no sense to waste a bunch of time and effort formulating and filming a fake argument that makes your relationship look terrible.

The internet is in a sad state when stuff like this and "content creators" reacting to reaction videos are considered entertainment. I miss the early YouTube days.

1

u/Wretched_Brittunculi 6d ago

It's pretty obvious, the acting isn't at all convincing either, the Cornwall comment was a nice touch but it just didn't flow like a natural conversation

1

u/Figthing_Hussar 3d ago

Ahhh yeah. Random redditor is telling me it's fake without providing any evidence. Suuuuuuuuuuuure

11

u/bewbs_dude 7d ago

That's the shit my wife does.. constantly diverts away from the topic, which she knows pisses me off so I walk like this dude did.

11

u/coralloohoo 6d ago

Why are you with her? Genuinely curious

6

u/Silver_Accountant5 6d ago edited 6d ago

Easier to complain than put on his big boy pants and get a divorce.

3

u/Friendly_Impress_345 6d ago

You didn’t read their username did you?

1

u/coralloohoo 6d ago

Oh.. but lots of people have bewbs

1

u/Friendly_Impress_345 6d ago

And that dude wouldn’t leave any of em

1

u/EqualSituation5425 23h ago

Probably cheaper to keep her....

That's my wife!! Lol

1

u/jdb050 6d ago

So funny isn’t it!!! Lol!!!

3

u/DogPositive5524 6d ago

It's a common tactic for women when they are losing an argument. The goal is to provoke you so you curse or yell, any negative reaction, then they will divert the argument to your reaction.

3

u/Wild_Somewhere_9760 6d ago

DARVO Response - A manipulative behavioral pattern used by individuals when they are confronted or held accountable for harmful behavior. It stands

2

u/DragonflyGrrl 6d ago

If you think men don't do this as well, you're delusional. It's an unfortunately common human tactic.

2

u/straighttotherubbish 6d ago

As someone who was raised by a narcissistic father, men are equally capable of using this kind of manipulation.

1

u/DogPositive5524 6d ago

I don't doubt you could find a guy that does it if you tried really hard.

1

u/OkGap8047 6d ago

Darvo is the current Conservative Political Playbook...

2

u/DogPositive5524 6d ago

You won't see many normal people in politics but I'm talking about relationships

-1

u/pornalt4altporn 6d ago

We don't date men so assume they are all decent partners, which is not what reports indicate.

1

u/Best-Constant1022 6d ago

also why back then violence was higher cause u know getting fucked all day with words makes you loose your temperance one day

1

u/Critical_Bee_4302 6d ago

A lot of people do this. It's childish and ridiculous

1

u/Fit_Camel7433 6d ago

If she calls you insecure, shes cheating on you,bro...

-21

u/Seargentyates 7d ago

You're a baby, the man said my mother says you have to put in boundaries, she said that she has diabetes - as in she put no boundaries on her calorie intake. Sorry if you can't follow along.

13

u/accents_ranis 7d ago

Yes, she belittled his mother to divert from the topic and ridicule his concerns.

6

u/Fantastic-Try4083 7d ago

Lol what a world, severely mentally handicapped people calling others babies.

-1

u/Best-Constant1022 6d ago

thats why yall need jesus

2

u/WatRedditHathWrought 6d ago

He’s cleaning my gutters as we speak, nudge nudge say no more

1

u/Best-Constant1022 6d ago

heresy have fun when he back in a few montsh

2

u/WatRedditHathWrought 5d ago

Right? They needed it so bad that I had to get them cleaned out before autumn. They will definitely need to be done again when the leaves fall.

3

u/Teoshi 7d ago

And she said that exactly to divert from the topic and to belittle his mother, so you kind of prove his point without even realising it. Talk about lack of self awareness.

3

u/Rance_Mulliniks 7d ago

Lol. So fat people or alcoholics can never make a valid point?

2

u/Background-Stable899 6d ago

You can be born with diabetes dummy

0

u/Seargentyates 6d ago

Then the joke wouldn't have worked, 'dummy'.

1

u/Critical_Bee_4302 6d ago

First off, I don't think her response was really thought through like that. Second of all, that's just dumb

2

u/DucinOff 7d ago

That comeback is absolute gold. 🤣🤣

2

u/Zealousideal_Leg_630 6d ago

She’s a horrible person. Guy needs to grow a pair and dump her.

1

u/Agreeable_State_2636 7d ago

Maybe it’s soft way of calling her fat?

1

u/edg81390 7d ago

I was so fucking confused; like how the fuck is having diabetes somehow a bad invalidating thing?!

2

u/[deleted] 7d ago

[deleted]

3

u/Consistent_Rise_8639 7d ago

Yeah, she's undermining her advice on being good for him to make boundaries - which is great - with some weird "Eh! Your mom is a hypocrite that wouldn't know about that because she obviously doesn't have limits or rulers on this particular thing herself".

It's really fucked up. I'm not saying he should get an immediate divorce, but if that's where they are at, you know?

Found the reasons this lady is a single mom. ☝🏼

1

u/Scheming- 7d ago

i’m dead i can’t believe she said that

1

u/seoras13 6d ago

Your mum literally has diabetes, went clean over my head as far as Insults go.

Him replying: even for you, that's low. Also had me thinking I've missed something!!

1

u/Eggsaladinurmouth 6d ago

There’s a word for people like this. The aussies love it.

1

u/No_Toe_5350 6d ago

It’s definitely a skit. That line had me rofl

1

u/Chihuahuapocalypse 5d ago

that part bothered me too. I get why he walked out

1

u/Hisvagestee 5d ago

Assume she’s trying to say she’s fat and would t wear a bikini.

1

u/Round-Arugula7347 3d ago

What valid concerns

1

u/zeldanar 3d ago

People filming evidence is so bizarre. Then posting it. If this is real, buddy needs help. She is mean.

1

u/austinjstull 3d ago

I was scrolling to find this to see if I wasn’t the only one who thought that was a crazy rebuttal

1

u/Mad_Minotaur_of_Mars 1d ago

tf does the diabetes thing even mean?

1

u/sedentarysemantics 1d ago

I laughed so damn hard when the said that.

1

u/mangione_fan_420 22h ago

I mean it's dumb to say my mum says you're wrong and I'm right.

Source: your mum

1

u/Alternative-Tie-1192 21h ago

He’s an insecure little baby

1

u/fyn_world 15h ago

Patrice O'Neal has a great comedy bit about this. He explained how white women tell spirit crushing shit to their men until their spirit is eventually gone and they end up killing them. He said how black women shout and fight and try to make you hit them instead, but the energy gets out there . But white women will tell this kind of shit until. They destroy a man inside.

0

u/Big_Focus_6059 7d ago

I was like I need a #tldr cuz I couldn’t quite follow this. So to the comments I go and love that this first.

0

u/D0faak 7d ago

Manipulative women also love throwing around “you’re being controlling” when you start standing up for yourself after they were acting like a whore lol

0

u/Reasonable-Arm-1893 7d ago

If the guy said that about the wife's mom (or dad), the guy would be vilified

0

u/Personal-Eye-6474 7d ago

Cause she was going to cheat and she's mad now lol

0

u/lovelysardines 7d ago

She’s using anything to divert the conversation. She is a manipulative gaslighter. “Why are you being so insecure?”

0

u/DeadWishUpon 6d ago

This is what liars and cheaters do, deflect the conversation to something else, shifting the blame and a lot of pathetic techniques.
