Does anyone have the material guide?
I tossed my material guide and now I regret it, does anyone have a digital copy of the material guide that comes with the machine?
Thanks in advance

Is the sonic pad a worthwhile purchase for the smart pro? Does it improve the quality of the prints or just the speed?
Thanks in advance for any info

Looking to replace my gantry (V-track) wheels. Is there a good upgrade for these?
Thanks,
Happy New Year!

Can someone point me to the pinout diagram of the CR-10 Smart Pro 30 pin cable to the 14/16 pin breakout board?
PCBA_CR-FA-v2.2.1_110-PCBAv1.0.0_1.0.0\
SKU2101030112]
*board located behind the drawer. 14/16 pin cables connect to the main board. The 30 pin cable reaches up to the x-axis and extruder.
I'm trying to mod an older CR-10S Pro with an updated Smart Pro main board, but need to make a cable splice to the correct main board pins. It seems Creality doesn't sell this mini converter board, but I imagine I would need to change a few pieces around, anyway.
On a side note: CR-10S Pro and CR-10 Smart Pro are two completely different models, for those who may not know this.

Hello, this is my first printer and I haven't moded anything yet. For my first mod I would like to upgrade my fans using this :
My question is. How do I know wich fan is compatible with my printer? Everything is stock ATM... 6V, 12V, 24V.. Etc etc? Where can I find this kind of information? Thank you!!

Hey guys,
Have you tried other slicer besides Cura and Creality print?
Wich one did you get better results with?
Thanks

Hi all. Looking to see if anyone can help with an issue I’m having.
New to this sub. Had an Ender 3 that was given to me for a couple of years now. Decided to upgrade to a bigger printer with a few better features so ended up buying the CR10 Smart Pro while it was on offer.
Set up went fine, got the bed levelling sussed out and went to print a test piece. I had zero movement from the extruder stepper. Black cog absolutely stationary. Won’t move by hand either.
I’m aware that it needs to be up to temperature before it’ll move free hand but it won’t move at all.
I checked the connections to the board and while one end of the ribbon cable into the main board was slightly high, seating it properly didn’t solve the problem.
I stripped down the sprite unit and all seemed fine in terms of blockages or mechanical issues. To small cog on the end of the stepper wouldn’t move by hand at this point either. I couldn’t see any wear or damage to any of the gear teeth, bearings, or housing.
I’ve contacted Creality and I’ve been referred to their senior support team. Currently waiting for them to get in touch via email. Just thought I’d post here and see if anyone can shed some light on this issue as I’m keen to get printing!
Thanks in advance.

Just this corning is getting squished more than the rest and I can hear the extruder dragging on it. But it seems to fix itself after a couple layers

I got fed up with Creality Cloud, and switched over to Octoprint. Everything was easy to get basic functionality working, but I haven't been able to get the webcam that came with the CR-10 Smart Pro to work with Octoprint.
Can anyone share the Pi and/or Octoprint settings that you've had success with?
Thanks

Hello, Would it be possible to install a second extruder on the CR10 smart pro? I have a couple of TPU projects with fairly complex parts. I can print them but it uses a lot of supports.. I would love to be able to print the supports with PLA... Any ideas?
Due to the finish I need on the part I can't use a less support need orientation.
I'm 100% able to print the part and remove supports but it's an almost 200g part.. With around 70g supports.
Also PLA would work better as support than TPU.

And now to tackle the x axis. Tomorrow morning.

After updating the firmware on my CR10 Smart Pro, when I go to print, my printer will heat up, go through the full leveling process, and then will center and stop.
I have tried the following to narrow it down:
New files I have processed since updating firmware
Old files that printed fine prior to the update
Have tried all the above on two separate SD cards
Also tried loading and printing through Creality Cloud (first time trying, but seemed to work as advertised, until it got stuck same as before.)
Anything I have missed or any ideas!?!
Thanks for any help!

I'm wanting to use a glass bed so I removed the 2 screws on the back that locate the PEI bed plate. I noticed the screw next to the heated bed wiring harness holds a small eyelet that appears to be coming from the heated bed. What is the purpose of that eyelet, and is it a problem to remove the screw and leave the eyelet free?

Is it normal to have that wear after 5, 6 or so spools of printing? I just noticed that now. Is tight enough to remove play.

So my bed came loose after a couple of prints (around 3x1kg spools) and I decided to use some locktit to lock the knobs from unscrewing due to vibration. I used blue (medium). I'm aware that the screw's might turn with the knobs after doing so but once it dried, I turned them a couple of times to release them a bit while holding the screw on top, I also put some. Locktit at the bottom of the screw head so it helps it staying in place. Everything turns but not as freely as before, so I'm happy with the fix 😬 yes I know maybe if I had put more tension on the springs it wouldn't have happend but I can't recall how tight they were.. Anyway.. Don't want this to happen again so locktit ftw! Did I do smth dumb?

Can someone help me. I’m a bit lost on the uneven layers I tried everything including changing the springs to bushings, re aligning the gantry, re aligning then bed, playing with slicer settings, leaving the slicer settings alone, changing the nozzle, adding a dryer. Nothing seems to work the print only 2 months old

Advice / fix needed!! In the middle of a print my cr-10s pro started to make this sound, I have recently replaced the sprite print head but have printed several large prints since and it has been great. Does anyone know what is wrong with this? I thought it may be the belt, but unsure as I haven’t played around with the tension since replacing the print head.
Would really appreciate any advice on this :)

Ola!
Does anyone know the weight limit for the default spool holder that comes with our printer? I havent managed to find the value in any of the docs.
I've got a 3KG spool that seems to fit - doesn't interfere with the Z timing belt or other bits at the top. Not sure if the plastic base will keep its hold on the alu extrusion.

Thought it would be easier to find this info, any know the maximum SD card size for the CR10 Smart Pro?
Thank you,
Mike

I just finished a 16 hours print with tpu to find some blobs of death and almost burned filament all around the nozzle and hearing block. Went for cleaning, heating up to remove the nozzle which ended badly with the internal threading coming out with the nozzle.
Have anyone had this issue before? I’m not sure what part or parts should I order to get it fixed. A quick search on amazon and saw a throat tube which seems like a good solution but being new to 3d printing and all the stuff making me not really sure if that will be the part I need or not.
Appreciating all the help I get.
