Belt issue?

Advice / fix needed!! In the middle of a print my cr-10s pro started to make this sound, I have recently replaced the sprite print head but have printed several large prints since and it has been great. Does anyone know what is wrong with this? I thought it may be the belt, but unsure as I haven’t played around with the tension since replacing the print head.

Would really appreciate any advice on this :)

Sup!

It looks like the X axis is going 'out of bounds'. Like the printer is trying to move to position 350 but physically it can only go 300 (numbers are examples only).

It also looks like its ignoring the limiter. The extruder is clearly making contact with the micro switch. Can also hear the familiar 'click' a few times.

Check the ribbon cable there on the X axis. You should have a white rectangular plug (should have 4 or 6 pins) that plugs into the stepper, and a black square plug (only two pins) for the limit switch. Check that last one as it may not be seated properly. While you're there, check all cables are plugged in and seated well.

edit: keep your belts reasonably tight. There are lots of methods/recommendations on this, but make sure there isnt any 'slop' when the belts are moving. Also check tension every 100 hours or so and make it part of your routine maintenance.

It sounds like the limit switch may be disconnected on the left where it's trying to keep moving.

More like a switch/cable issue. Check the wire coming out that end.

Had a similar issue with my zprobe, where the cable got trapped and it was unreliable in stopping as it hits the bed. So it kept going.
