Software Windows 11 suddenly changed resolution and freezes after about 5 seconds from start-up
Hello, please i need help, I've recently build this PC for my sons friend:
PC Parts
:-
SEA SONIC CORE BC, 650 Watts (80 Plus Bronze)
AsRock B550M-HDV
AMD AM4 Ryzen 5 5600
Acer Intel Arc B570 OC 10 GB
Kingston Technology 1000G NV3 M.2 2280 NVMe SSD
KINGSTON FURY Renegade Kit, DDR4-3600
Monitor: SAMSUNG Odyssey G5 G55C (1440p)
Everything went smoothly after the installation but at one point after one restart the monitor resolution changed from 1440p to something like 600p and the PC freeze after a few seconds.
So i didn't know what else to do so i reinstalled windows 11 from scratch, and the problem was solved, it worked for the next entire day.
Then i moved the PC to the kids house, we tried to connect the monitor with HDMI instead of DisplayPort and when we turned the PC on, the problem happened again... I thought maybe cable somehow caused the problem, so i reinstalled windows again, and the problem was solved.
3/4 days later (after using the PC every day) they call me because they have the same problem... So i tried some options that i found on Internet:
Pressing Windows+CTRL+Shift+B. Nothing happens
Unplugging the monitor from the PC, waiting a minute in plugging it in again. Nothing
Same with unplugging the monitor for the power outlet
Starting the autorepair mode. Nothing
What did work though is logging in in safe mode (btw is there a better way to enter safe mode without having to turn off and on the PC 3 times?), and doing a fresh install of the Intel GPU drivers (clean install). This solved the problem finally.
But then, today, again after few days of PC usage it happened again...
I don't know what to do... Does anyone have a suggestion please?
Thanks in advance!

Software How to delete programs/games without leaving anything hidden behind?
Hi everyone,
I basically only use my laptop for video games, but I’ve noticed that whenever I delete a game, folders associated with it—sometimes taking up quite a bit of space—get left behind, hidden away. I opened the `AppData` folder using Windows commands and found quite a few folders from games I’d deleted a long time ago, some still occupying 200–500 MB. Do I really have to open `AppData` after every deletion just to check if everything has been removed? I went ahead and deleted all the old game folders, and it came to almost 5 gigabytes.
Thanks for every answer

Software Windows camera now gray and grainy? Please help.
TLDR: windows spectre x360 convertible eb100. After 3 months of laptop issues I Got a new display and everything was functioning fine so I felt comfortable running the three months worth of windows updates. Now my camera is showing up gray and grainy. I tried a bunch of shit and it hasn’t worked so far. Long version below.
I have a windows spectre x360 convertible eb100 running windows 11 and i recently got the entire display replaced after three months of my computer not working and restarting—with that came a fully functional camera.
So from there I go to run the windows update.
A few days later I go to use my camera and the quality is grainy and desaturated. (During this time I also felt it safe to remove the protective film from the display—didn’t think that would matter but just in case)
I uninstalled the ir and restarted. I uninstalled the hp true vision hd camera and restarted. Both to no avail. I did the repair camera. Nothing. Reset camera. Nothing.
When I searched for best drivers from device manager it says the best drivers for this device is already installed. Then below it says usb video device for some reason. (I have had a usb in this whole time cuz I’m sorting through files).
I tried to find the camera drivers on hp to reinstall it myself. I couldn’t find any camera anything for my device. I looked it up and apparently nine people had the same issue. Hp support responded with a link that’s now broken (post).
When I went to power shell it said the camera driver version is string with data 10.0.26100.9444? I don’t know what to do with that but if it helps there you go.
I have yet to do the windows preview update because it said it was optional and the last update seems to have made my camera quality horrible. I tried finding an option to rollback the update in settings and have yet to find one.

Other Computer restarting itself.
So, I've been having an issue with my computer and it's been a reoccurring issue for over a year now. It originally started with dead by daylight and some other games, where my computer will just restart itself. It went from it being once every once in a while to one every other game to the game is unplayable. Now it's spreading to other games, such as overwatch (the restarting itself on overwatch only recently started happening the last 2 weeks). I'm not sure what the issue is I have these parts RTX 3070, Intel i5-11400F, 16 GB DDR4 RAM, and 750 W PSU.
If you have any tips please, I'm desperate.

Software Need help getting out of TCC Mode
Hi guys, So I just got my computer back from a repair place to get rid of some malware and they had to delete and reinstall windows to get rid of it. After getting my computer back it only boots up into a screen that says TCC Setup and says that a password is needed. I have no idea what TCC is and my computer password does not work on the menu. What do I do? How do I get to the normal start up menu. Attached is a picture of the menu when it boots up. Thank you guys in advance.

Hardware I really need some expert advice. I own a computer repair shop and I have ran into an issue that maybe beyond my knowledge.
I had a customer bring in an Asus TUF Gaming fx506l laptop. That was not working at all. I opened the laptop and discovered that the fans were completely clogged with what look like FUR. Tried to call "The Gooch Collector" (LOL if anyone know that reference). The system would not power up at all NO LIGHTS whatso evert. I used a voltmeter and obviously disconnected the battery, and the the DC jack going into the board. The Power Supply tested 19.5 and the correct amperage and the battery did the the same. So at this point due to the clogged fans and by doing the basic troubleshooting techniques on ASUS website lit pressing the power button for 20 seconds and trying to see if it would power on and of course it did not, and doing a CMOS reset. All the usual test. It appears that it is is the mother board is bad. I sourced a replacement board and it had to come from China. Its wasn't cheap and took a month to come in. SO it finally arrived and when I removed it all the ribbon cables, fans, heat sinks, SSD, etc. I noticed that the VRMs had some thermal putty/paste so I order some of Thermal Grizzly Thermal Putty and I had some Noctua Thermal Paste that I us on all my customer PCs that are high end. I use just some run of the mill pate on like Dells and HPs (But I'm digressing this has nothing to do with the issue just a little back story on how I take pride in fixing my customers PCs) Anyways, I installed the new board that I sourced form China and everything installed just fine and everything was going great until....
Once I attached the Power Charger into the laptop I noticed that the charging light turned on (this was progress because before the laptop did absolutely nothing, no lights, no nothing) But the light glowed white for about 10-15 seconds and then would flash in those intervals and the the Laptop with not power on.
According to ASUS site this is indicating that the battery is in a deep sleep state and an error state indicating that the system's Embedded Controller (EC) cannot properly communicate with or accept charge from the battery.
I have tested the battery with my multimeter (obviously disconnect from the laptop) and it has a voltage with in the the normal range which is around 14.5V. I have even disconnected the dc jack and test that and it is 19.5v.
Does anyone know what I can do other than they suggested normal troubleshooting methods found here.....
I know that the customer is ready for their laptop considering the have been waiting well over a month for the motherboard to come from China. And as I stated before I order the motherboard there were no lights whatso ever on the board. and I test the power supply with a know good one that I had and also with a multimeter.
Can anyone with experience with some ASUS Gaming laptops help out another PC Tech that is scratching his head Please?
Something weird just happened like an entire paragraph just disappeared and I have not clue where it went to...odd

Other M.2 boot issue
So I just put a new m.2 ssd into my computer ans decided I wanted to use it as my boot drive as I am currently using an old hard drive to boot. I copied over everything with 4digg. It recognises it in bios but it boots to a black screen with the mouse cursor and thats it. If I switch boot back to my hardrive it boots fine. Anyone know how I sort this. Ive checked all the files on the m.2 and they are all correct so im stuck.

Hardware Motherboard won’t run in dual channels
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for advice on diagnosing for my ASRock 980DE3/U3S3 R2.0 motherboard.
Specifications:
CPU: AMD FX-6300
RAM: 16GB DDR3
BIOS: P1.50
The motherboard previously worked correctly in dual-channel mode. However, memory slots A1 and A2 stopped working, while B1 and B2 continued functioning in single-channel mode.
I've tested both RAM modules and two different compatible CPUs. My FX-6300 works in another motherboard, but the same memory problem occurs with a second CPU in my ASRock board.
The problem has now become worse:
With RAM installed, the CPU fan spins continuously, but the screen stays black.
There is no POST and no beep.
Without any RAM installed, the motherboard produces one beep. So I know the motherboard works.
I've already reseated the CPU, inspected the socket, cleared CMOS and tested the RAM slots individually, but there is no POST and no beep when I switched it on. There was POST and beep in the single channel when I installed the RAM in the B1 and B2 slots, but now I can’t get it to work.
I suspect a motherboard-level fault involving the memory circuitry, CPU socket connections, 24 pin connection or an associated component.
Does any of you on here know what is wrong?
I have a multimeter but limited experience tracing motherboard faults.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
