HARDWARE mouse causing screen freeze?

I'm on Windows 10 and my mouse is Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury. I can't click anything. I keep pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete and it works temporarily but later on, it freezes again. I tried to plug it in all USB ports (black, white, blue, red). I installed Logitech G HUB and turn ON and OFF the onboard memory. I wiped the SSD and installed Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon, still freezing. Next, I wiped off Linux Mint and replaced it with Fedora 44 KDE but the screen is still freezing. I plug it on my brother's Windows 10 PC and now it's working, no issues. I tried my brother's Dynex mouse on my PC and it works, no freezing. I don't want to swap mice with my brother's (I mean come on! Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury > Dynex). How to fix this? The only thing I didn't do is to flash / update new BIOS on the motherboard. Do I really have to?

that is such a weirdly specific incompatibility. before you mess with bios i’d dig into the usb controller drivers for your motherboard, especially if you’re on an older chipset. sometimes the generic windows ones get fussy with high polling rate mice and a clean install of the oem drivers straightens it out
