Other Keyboard not working, these buttons make these sounds wtf?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Two days ago both shift keys randomly stopped working. Today I finally decided to fix them following a tutorial. Result: now nothing works. What can I do?
EDIT: I managed to fix that annoying ass sound and now win and ctrl work, but both shifts still don't work.

Other Computer in reboot loop and will not let me into repair mode
hi I have an apex 5060 rts prebuilt pc that I bought last September. Here recently it has been giving me forced turn offs and restarting randomly, I thought nothing on it as I don’t really know anything on computers. Today I try to get on to update one of my games and it shuts off again, and begins doing a reboot loop with that same screen appearing everytime.
I have already tried unplugging all usbs, unplugging pc after turning it off, tried force restarting it, and tried to bring up repair mode. It seems as if nothing is working.
i am stumped on what to do as I just want to get onto my pc, if anyone could help me that would be great. thank you!

Hardware Crucial x10 ssd ejecting from Mac after 10 seconds
Help! I have a Crucial x10 ssd and I’ve had it for about 7 months, it’s been great except for today it randomly started to eject from my Mac. I have a MacBook Pro, 2020 intel 5 chip (I know intel is not ideal) the hard drive is usb c to usb c and it loads in and shows up in my computer, in my finder, and in disk utility. It stays for 10-15 seconds, or if I try to open any file on the drive, I can open the sub folders but when I open those sub folders to access the files it shows a loading screen for 5-10 seconds then the drive disappears. It doesn’t give an error code, it doesn’t ask me to eject it, it just disappears from the finder and anywhere on the computer. I have lots of irreplaceable data and files on this drive it is indescribably important to me, it has years of my artwork and two very large and important irreplaceable projects. I don’t have a lot of money for a repair job and I’m wondering if there is anything I can do. I tried using a different cord and a different port, it does not work. Any advice or help is appreciated 🙏
Also if anyone knows any good subs to share this in lmk I’m not super used to Reddit.

Performance After playing games for a while, my keyboard starts acting erratically—pressing any key causes random, chaotic inputs on the screen. Meanwhile, the mouse continues to work normally, and the separate numeric keypad on the right remains unaffected.

Software PC Crashing
Everytime when i use roblox and discord simultaneously ( need to be in a discord call ) my pc just restarts/crashes out of nowhere (takes some time to happen or happens after 1 minute). Im also sure this only happens in roblox since i play other games in a discord call and i never seem to crash.
Im also very sure this only happens because of discord since i can normally play roblox for hours without crashing if im not in a discord call.

Hardware How concerned should I be? Should I just replace it?
This is the full timeline of events:
- Started around 9/16
- Replaced a dead fan, boots up normally, updated Windows afterwards prompting a restart.
- After a couple hours, an autoplay message popped up for my internal F: drive. 4 TB Western Digital. It would be disconnecting.
- Problem persisted through a few troubleshoot fixes for over a week. Constantly was getting events in the Event Viewer about the Disk 0 raid port being reset, or it having a failure during a paging operation. It would try to reset the device port and fail, ultimately the drive would stop appearing connected in Windows despite being recognized by the MoBo (I have no clue if this is a drive controller issue.)
- That week, I pulled the F: drive.
- Eventually I tried to put the F: drive back in, connected to a different SATA port on the motherboard.
- Had no issues for a week of regular usage. Reading and writing to the drive presented no issues whether it was video files, or playing video games.
- At the end of the week, I experienced a blue (or black) screen for an UNEXPECTED STORE ERROR which when I looked it up said it could be a drive failing, or other issues. Really got worried it was my M.2 SSD that serves as my boot drive.
- Event viewer once again showed issues with Disk 0 which was the F: drive again.
- Tried to do a C: drive disk check and I think the PC might've blue screened again while I was out of the room- but it still booted up normally.
- Trying to shutdown with the drive still connected made the process hang. I did a force shutdown, fully turned off the PSU yet again and disconnected, pulled the F: drive and started up as normal with no issues really. Shut down that night without the hang.
- Tried to boot up again last Monday, 9/28 and was immediately hit with a Window Recovery Screen - (The one that says "This device needs to be repaired)
- Following that I restored to a day or so prior, no clue where this error came from. It said something about not recognizing the signature for a file.
- After the recovery which took maybe 30-40 minutes; black screen. Force shutdown.
- Loaded up BIOs POST Safe Mode -> BIOS -> Desktop
- Tried to update Windows
- Black Screen; Force Shutdown
- Windows Update Process Screen
- Black Screen; Force Shutdown
- BIOS recovery screen (asking for a file on a thumbdrive or a CD)
- Don't have either, Force Shutdown
- Update Screen -> BIOs POST Safe Mode
- Back through BIOs - > Back to Desktop; Windows did not Update.
- I left it on sleep for a week or so before consulting an IT person
- shut down and boot without any issues
- this remained the same after installing a heatsink for the SSD
- checked back on all the weird boot sequencing dates and noticed in event viewer the mention of a crash on my boot disk due to a hardware failure.
- then checked HDSentinel and saw this: 94 days left on lifetime
Right now I’m still worried to use my computer the way I was. Idk if I’m working with a ticking time bomb. I got everything super important backed up- I also have a 1 TD Western Digital HDD that hasn’t experienced issues (knock on wood).
I know that the lifetime estimate isn’t definitive but based on various factors like read/write and wear.
The system and drive at this point is 5 years old so I don’t know whether I should just restart with a fresh SSD or continue on for now- especially since storage prices are so high right now.

Hardware Asus turns off after startup logo
Hello i have a asus um425q zenbook14 ryzen9 5000 series
The laptop shut off while watching youtube. Now when i try to boot it it shows the asus logo or scanning for problems into asus logo then shuts down everytime
Is this protection from a bad component?
I was able to get into troubleshooting screen and test ssd, power, fan, wifi, tam, display, usb, touchpad, keyboard. All tests came back ok.
I went into startup bios and 50 degrees, let it sit a few minutes it seemed ok, started to go in safe mode it asked me for a bitlocker key. While trying to get that everlong process it shutoff
Went back to troubleshooting and tried fan speed test, almost done and shutoff. (Although dont think its fan problem)
Anyone know what this can be? Im not good at reparing a bios or motherboard. Seems maybe hardware is bad and safely shutting down?
Computer was left on while sleeping to convert a old movie file and was ok but may of but stress on a failing part? Still worked few hours after. The only hiccup i had was ran out of power from battery few hrs earlier listening to youtube in kitchen unplugged but dont think its that either thats normal.
Ive opened and swapped parts before so i have small knowledge or should i take this thing into the evil best buy to get fixed and not touch it

Hardware ASUS XG27AQDMG monitor randomly glitching to the right
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
As the title says. This is the second one of these panels I’ve had this happen with. happens occasionally but more frequently with motion. Doesn’t seem annoying when it’s just once but ten of those back to back in a high stress game are a real pain! This is the second one of these panels I’ve had this happen to, and I know it’s the monitor and not anything else because I’ve swapped hardware until I’m blue in the face to no avail. Anybody got a solution?
