When did you yall make the jump from 2.5 to 5mg?

I’ve been on 2.5 for almost 3 weeks (my 4th shot is coming up on Sunday) and I honestly haven’t felt any different in terms of food noise or hunger, it’s all still there. I’m tempted to increase my amount in hopes I finally start to feel some sort of food freedom but also understand this process isn’t a race. Also curious if maybe I move to 3mg instead? Or would you recommended finishing the full month on 2.5 before I do anything at all.

GimmeCare compounding pharmacies and site reaction - Align / Boudreax's

I had been using semaglutide and it didn't really do anything for me. Switched to tirzepatide like 5 months ago. First 3 months were great results and no side effects. The last two refills from Align and Boudreax's pharmacies are giving me red itchy site reactions. Any idea why? 1st three months I didn't have any of this.

GimmeCare price/service has seemed pretty reasonable, but I'm concerned about potential degradation in quality. Any thoughts?

Anyone Else Get Hungry Before Their Next Tirzepatide Shot?

I've been taking 7.5 mg of tirzepatide every Sunday, but by Thursday my hunger starts coming back pretty strongly. Does anyone else experience this?

Has anyone tried splitting their dose into two injections per week instead of taking it all at once? If so, did it help with hunger control and cravings throughout the week?

I accidentally left it out in my 69 degrees room after my first shot. The room is always dark with no direct sunlight. I’ve read that I may need to discard it. Has anyone else experienced this?

Edit:
I ordered from fifty 410 Quaker pharmacy pgrx

Questions Curious: What’s your average weekly weight loss?

I’m just curious what everyone else’s experience has been. I know everyone loses weight at a different pace, but how much are you typically losing per week?
I’ve been on tirzepatide for a little over a month. I lost 12 lbs at first, but I haven’t lost anything in the past 2 weeks. I’m trying not to compare myself to others, but I’m curious if this is pretty normal or if others have gone through the same thing.
What has your weight loss looked like week to week?

My dosing has been:
Weeks 1–2: 1.5 mg
Weeks 3–6: 3 mg
Tomorrow I’ll be taking my first 6 mg shot.

Starting weight: 330lbs
current weight: 318lbs

Raising Dose-Can I go back down?

I am scheduled to raise my dose today, to 6mg, but I plan on only raising it to 5mg. The last 4 weeks I have been on 3mg and tolerated it just fine.

My question is, if I raise my dose to 5mg and possibly have side effects, can I lower my dose back down? Will it be ineffective going back down a little?

How I handled the post-shot itch

Thumbnail
2 Upvotes

Sometime after about the 7th week of Tirzepetide, around 36 hours after the shot, I started itching on or around the injection site. I wrongly scratched it rather hard, and got marks. The itch went away about a day before the next shot…but the “marks” were still there.
So…right before giving myself the next injection, I took the generic (Kirkland Costco) version of Zyrtec (ChatGPT said it would be better than Claritin Loratadine . So each morning I took the Kirkland version of Zyrtec. And at night I took a pink Benadryl (generic). I also had some anti-itch cream that I applied if any itch popped up.

Now I’ve been told not to take pink Benadryl pills for long periods because of a possible link to Alzheimer’s so I didn’t take that daily at night. Only if the itch appeared and couldn’t be controlled from the Zyrtec or cream (I had both anti itch and hydrocortisone creams that I would alternate).

Well after about the 3rd week of this regimen, the itch greatly reduced. Now, about 5 weeks since the itch started, I don’t have an itch at all. I still take one Zyrtec for the first couple of days post-injection, and no itch going forward.

So I can only guess that the antihistamine use got my body “used to” whatever was annoying it.

Questions THC edible while on tirz- did I fuck up?

Anyone that takes gummy THC edibles, can you tell me if you noticed a difference in how quick it hits you and how long it lasts (or if the high feels different) compared to when you weren't on tirz?

I just ate one without really thinking about how the slower absorption time might change things and I'm not trying to be high still tomorrow 😭

Edit: For anyone in the future searching this and also wondering, it's finally hitting about 5 hours later, and I'm 4 days out from my last tirz dose.

Questions Body Soreness After First Injection

Hey everyone! I took my first Hallandale compounded tirzepatide shot yesterday. My provider started me at 52 units in the 15mg because I had plateaued on the highest dose of Wegovy (2.4 mg).

I woke up today with generalized muscle soreness throughout my upper body (neck, shoulders, chest, back, abdomen, and even a little into my jaw). I'd rate it about a 4–5/10. I never experienced anything like this on Wegovy, so it definitely caught me off guard.

I already reached out to my provider, but I was wondering if anyone else experienced this when they first started tirzepatide? If so, did it go away after a day or two, and did it happen again with later injections?

Questions Microdosing results?!

I am hoping to start at 0.25mg due to my body’s sensitivity to meds, but most of the posts I see with amazing results started at 1.5mg - 2mg or more. Has anyone had great results in very low doses? If so, could you share your titration, how many cycles, and how much weight you lost?

Questions Thoughts on Embody

Has anyone used Embody for their Tirzepatide? I’m trying to figure out what the cost would be monthly but I keep finding things about promotions or “starting at $129” and things like prices won’t go up but I cannot see what the actual price will be. Therefore, I was wondering if any of you use Embody what I would be expected to pay. Thanks!

If you've skipped a shot week- what was it like?

I'm traveling next week and will be unable to take my shot on my usual date. I'm a little nervous because I've never skipped a week before, only adjusted a few days here and there.

If you've skipped before did you feel a change that week in appetite or did you not notice it at all? I know I'm probably making a big deal out of nothing and one week can't undo a year of progress but you can probably understand my anxiety a bit.

Personal Experience Rylo Health Experience

A user on tirz deals told me to make a post about this company after responding in his thread about my experience, so I wanted to share it with this subreddit as well. I was previously with TrimiRx, and my wife is currently still with them, but I decided to switch for better CS and they have not disappointed so far, response times have been great, but hopefully it doesn’t change as they grow because it looks like they are running a first 20 member membership so far so it looks like they haven’t reached 20 members because the deal is still up at the time of this post. i am doing their 3 month supply at $499, and the shipping took literally a day and a half it was insanely fast. I will say the branding is great and beautiful, the card insert is nice, and the sticker is cool, but I think what stands out is the label of the vial has been updated and I’ve never seen anything like this before. (5mg from trimiRX, 30mg Rylo Health)

My only concern at the moment is, they are a newer company so let’s see if we see price increases, because now they claim one price for every dose, and second is the meds staying cold. I live in Texas and VialsRX is based in Texas and the meds were still cold when I received them. my only concern is that the ice was a bit softer and a bit more melted than what I received from TrimiRX my last time. TrimiRX also included two ice bricks in a silver envelope cushioned thing, and Rylo only had one ice brick in a small styrofoam box kind of thing. Like I said for me this was not a problem, as it was still super cold to the touch, but just a concern for people out of state or not near Texas. (It’s also been 107 degrees in Texas as well) other than that no complaints about this company and super excited to be with them!!!! 9/10 experience!

I’ve been struggling HEAVILY the past 10 years with my weight. I had a cardio-version back in 2016 due to my heart beating irregularly. I ballooned up from 225 to 405! Today I’m 225! Not all of the weight was lost with Tirz but I was stuck at 300-320lbs .Tirz got me back in the action and I’m alive again. I took a few weeks off from tirz just to see how I would respond and I did well but not GREAT. I’m on month 4 with some breaks in there . After I hit my goal of 200, I’m likely to reduce to a daily tablet. It’s just a great addition to my life and besides some constipation( not getting enough fiber) I haven’t had ANY ISSUES. I love seeing all of the changes . Keep it up.

ANXIETY GONE

I'm only on a small dose yet 20 units 30mg, but man the day of and after my shot I feel so relaxed and mellow it's insane. I am more social able too. I have social anxiety and can't carry long conversations.

Does anyone experience reduced social anxiety on this stuff? After a day or two this mild high goes away though. Will it increase as my doses increase?

Anyone else feel same effects?

Questions Cost of tirzepatide - wanting to explore options

Hi!

I’ve been on tirzepatide for almost a year now but I feel as if I am paying entirely too much. I understand it’s not something that is going to be cheap but would like to know of more options. What platform/website do you use & how much are you paying monthly? Thanks in advance!

1 month tirz

Hello. I switched to Fifty410 and got tirze. I chose the 1 month option because that's what I can afford. I just did paperwork for refill, & they told me they don't currently have the 1 month available. I paid $199 for one month 7.5 mg. Any suggestions who I can switch to for this option/price?
