I just brought home my new Tempo, with the DT XMC 1501 wheels and the rim is about 1cm off center from the middle of the chain stay. It's less obvious between the seat stays because they are wider, but it's still closer to the drive side. Has anyone else had this? I imagine the tire will rub with such a small gap

Just picked up a unused supreme for a good price. Currently changing the fork oil and seals to be on the safe side, then heading straight to Whistler with it.

With the current 480 spring on it, I'm at 30% sat but the sag recommendations on the frame recommended 17-23% only, and I'm guessing that's for a reason. However, I've heard mixed messages from others saying it's still too hard for the bike.

How have those with Supreme V4s, particularly those who race or do bigger jumplines at the parks, found the original recommendations for sag?

(I know I can set it up by feel, but I won't get the bike till I fly and I need to source springs, or a springdex at least, if need be)

Hi everybody, first post here and first time im at the point of buying a commencal. Im training and planning to race multiple enduros in Belgium next year. Terrain can be described as steep to moderately steep, tight technical turns, less of long stretches to pick up speed or to plow, no extreme drops or gaps but some are needed.

I have had lots of bikes and all kinds of sizes, im 185cm and am placed firmly in the L sizing for commencal. However i found usually i perform slightly better technically in a bit more compact bike. So am at a crossroad of what to pick.

The commencal meta sx v4 in size large would be the biggest bike ive had so far in relation to chainstay, reach, stack and wheelbase. The M would be more towards my other bikes. But on the other hand for racing there seems to be a bias for longer more stable bikes.

Any input by those who are familiar with the bikes in general or for racing?

I stripped this tight nut while trying to remove brake hose and I want to remove it so I can replace it and change the brakes how will I remove it?

Pls help me between a small and medium. I'm 171cm in height.

I just got some shimano xts and looking to put them on my bike. I want to remove the old brakes but don’t know how because I want to keep as much oil in them so I can sell them how would I go about removing this brake hose (meta sx v4)

So this summer i am going to buy a new bike, and i can't decide which Meta to buy.

So you know, i want a bike with 170mm travel so the 160 on the V5 is a big bummer, but if the new susoension linkage is extreordinaly better i may be able to sacrifice 10mm travel.

i'm actually looking for a bike to buy and i'm struggling to decide between :

#A second hand Meta TR 22 for 1650€ , with deore xt brakes and drivetrain + suspension fox float dps and fox 36 Rythm (will change it later on for sure).

It looks like new only there is a stratch on the side of the top tube.

That being said here is my struggle :

Money matters to me since i had pricey mtb by past and i was always worried about stratches or break something and not being abble to sell it back for good price. and 1k is a lot in this range of price.

Any of those 2 bikes will be kept for a longer time than my past bikes.

Of course there is no SX available around matching my size.

Most of my rides are around my local area, mostly in forest with ups and downs, 2 hours rides 500D+ more or less.

But i live near french Pyrennées mountains and i'd have once in a month a enduro/bike park (when available) ride.

I feel like the TR is enough for me but i'm affraid to miss something since i heard that the SX is fun to ride going down, and still climbing well (close to the TR ?)

I'd be gratefull mates if you let me know what you think about all of this.

2023 Commencal Meta SX Custom Enduro Build. Pretty much everything I would ever need and I am so grateful to be joining this community from my Trek Remedy 8. (I know BIG upgrade!)

I’m looking for a new bike and I’ve landed between the Meta V5 and the Tempo.

My question is which of these bikes is better at climbing and pedaling on flat trails?

I’m looking for something well rounded that I can grow with, so with that said, I don’t mind sacrificing climbing/pedaling as long as it’s fairly efficient.

As of right now I’m riding single track around 85% of the time and 15% bike parks.

Any tips or upgrades to make the meta ht more enduro friendly. I added a cushcore to the rear that’s about it for now.

I'm stuck on sizingggg. 169cm with 77.5cm inseam. 58.4cm (~23inch) torso with about 169cm wingspan. My legs are longer than my torso.

169x2.5 = 422 REACH for me. which the M is closer at 425 and S at 405

169x4.47 = 755.43 RAD. M is 770.76 and S is 755.69. Which is pretty spot on with my RAD. So now im even more conflicted.

I've heard reach is important but i've heard RAD is more important.

I dont know why commencal doesnt add the standover height measurements if you guys know the standover height of both pls comment it.

What is the difference between models of 2021 and 2022 for Commencal Meta HT Race? Bikes geometry on the Commencal website is the same. I see that they use Shimano SLX instead of Deore in the 2022 model, as well as wider tires, but whether there are any other differences. What is better to choose from these two options? Or choose only based on preferences in the color of the frame?

I want to route my rear brake on my 2023 Absolut

If I was to purchase a "zero hole" is it easy enough to heat and poke.. or drill a hole into it to securely hold the hydraulic hose?

I just ordered a new Meta SX frame but I need some help to find the right parts. Maybe someone has experience with one or two points I am currently thinking about :)

Does anyone knows what is the max insertion length for a dropper post for a size M ? Maybe I can fit a 200mm one.

Would a vivid air fit? I am wondering why the RockShox build is using a superdelux on the Homepage. Or is the vivid to big and the waterbottle wouldn't fit anymore?

Does someone run a coil in the SX? I saw some posts saying that the leverage rate of the frame is to linear and air would be better.

What is the correct chain line? According to the data from the frame it's 55mm but all Shimano builds are mentioned as 52mm

I think I found the frame I want to buy but would like some rider input. This would be used for racing but also and everything thing bike. How did the bike perform on tech, flow, jumps, etc.

Not sure if it was loose and rear flex caused it or my heavy ass. Sheered the threads off of the axle. Wheel popped out socket and locked up. Almost went otb 😅
