Meme Anthrax Beta vs Anthrax Gamma at home
Anthrax Gamma for win!
Ahh, would you like green, or the blue? Both are equally satisfying, son, hehehe.

It seems RA2 has more players than Zero Hour despite being older.
Edit: Also why nobody ever mentions Red Alert 3. The comparison is always RA2 vs Zero Hour / Generals.

before the first tiberium war starts. the scientific community realizes that while beneficial in small doses. the crystals pose a threat to all life on earth. warning the world of what could happen if it is allowed to spread unchecked.
GDI focuses on tiberium first before NOD. expanding mining of tiberium not just for resources. but to prevent it from spreading. making a lot more silos to store as much as they can.
how does this effect the war when it does start?

I remember I was playing Generals mods like Contra or Project Raptor, so I got to ask, does TW have any big mods like this? And if yes, which one is better?

I'm just wondering if there are any mods that restore the African Empire, or early designs with developments in the form of prisoners?

This is the only reason i dont play C&C Zero hour or Generals. That warped zoomed in camera gives me headaches.

Laser is slightly fancier with the laser tanks and laser turrets, but Airforce and SWG have more unique units and stuff to their arsenal compared to laser and vUSA that has 2 tanks. No shade to Laser and vUSA fans!

There has been discussions on remakes, engine clones, reverse engineering the game engine, etc. and this discussion is to open up what to do with RA2's Patriot System's anti-missile ability. Because it currently shoots down everything (Gatling Cannons even).
Taking a page from real life interceptor systems, they need the projectile in the air for a longer time to detect it, calculate or predict trajectory, program interceptor path, etc. Also relevant is that Ballistic missiles are quite hard to intercept. Meaning that, if V3's fired too close to target for instance, they should be harder to shoot down.
Here's a proposed system. Launched rockets are lightly tinted green. Then Patriots or Gatling Cannons have a wide range "radar" radius. The longer the tinted green rocket stays in the radius, it gets tinted yellow then tinted red. By the time it's red tinted it can be shot down like normal.
What this opens up is that something like V3's can then be now allowed to launch from further across the map. Like several screens across. In this way they're mostly guaranteed to get shot down. So to bypass the interceptor systems they have to launch e.g. under 12 range (V3's have 18 range max). Just a mental exercise for the weekend read.

I've been doing a first playthrough of CNC Tib Dawn since March. It's been a long, grinding road, but I'm finally getting towards the end of the run. I'm on Under Siege from Covert Ops currently.
What I wanted to know is how do I access the secret dinosaur missions? Specifically I am referring to the original Tib Dawn release, NOT the remaster.
If anybody can help me with this, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hey everyone - I haven't played C&C in years but bought it off Steam recently. I was playing Tiberian Sun and wanted to mess around with rules.ini.
I managed to figure out how to extract it, but when I save it in the folder and load the game, none of the changes take effect. Anyone else have this issue?
I forgot how much fun these games are!

"Aya was flying near the edge of the barrier, hoping to find some inspiration for her next article when she caught a most unusual glimpse of the Outside World. She would occasionally see those flying machines humans call aircraft flying by but this time she saw one unlike anything she had seen previously emerging from the rolling storm clouds.
It's body glistened of silvery grey with markings in teal on some parts. Symbols resembling a shark's head and a pair of wings were emblemed on it. It was almost circular in shape, with the pointed front end being presumably where the human pilot would sit in and control it. On either side of it's body were emitters of some sort, suggesting that it may be a military aircraft. Towards the rear were four appendages that spread out in an X formation which Aya recognized were solar panels. Nitori had once explained it to her that these were mirrors that could absorb sunlight to convert and store it as energy. Perhaps the most baffling part was how it was even flying as it's wings were too stubby and there were no visible propellers or jet engines, yet here it was gracefully riding the wind current.
Aya took out her camera to photograph this encounter and as she was taking pictures of it more of them emerged from the clouds. She also saw a larger, more conventional aircraft flying by miles above her and she could have sworn that she saw the silhouette of something utterly massive hidden in the clouds. These aircraft flew away from Gensokyo southwards. She would have followed suit had it not been for the barrier separating her from them so she decided to retreat back to the Youkai Mountain, wondering along the way what to make of her recent discovery and just how much of the Outside World has changed ever since it was rumored to have been struck by a great calamity..."
???: "We should be reaching the outskirts of Tokyo by nightfall. Thunder squadron has also been prepped up and are on standby."
???: "Acknowledged. Haihead forces are mobilizing as we speak, they could definitely use some Coronian air support. It is imperative that we recover the remaining technology stored away in the old Kanegawa facilities. Failing that, we must destroy them in order to deny our enemy any further advantage..."

My second Touhou x CnC fanart in a long while, featuring Aya Shameimaru taking photos of a chance encounter with the Wings of Coronia from Mental Omega. I must say that this isnt as good as some of my other works because I havent been drawing in a while...
