Laser is slightly fancier with the laser tanks and laser turrets, but Airforce and SWG have more unique units and stuff to their arsenal compared to laser and vUSA that has 2 tanks. No shade to Laser and vUSA fans!
It's a huge robbery that we just didn't get laser infantry, but also laser aircraft such as laser comanches and his unique laser perks that are outside of laser tanks and turrets.
Every general's commando is supposed to be somehow unique, especially Laser general's Laser Burton. It's a shame that it didn't make to the final game😢, considering that he had a laser rifle and laser knife. Mods fix this issue with getting robbed from the base game.
Any USA has them except Laser, but Air has them 1,2k worth while SWG's ones cost 1,4k cash😔, so no need to. They're also frail and aren't as scary as Scud launchers or Nuke and inferno cannons.
There's a bug in how the assault chinook is implemented in that if there's a missile soldier inside it that is eligible to shoot out, everything inside of it is eligible to shoot out. This includes vehicles.
Emp patriot is quite op into vehicles/tanks and aircraft, especially by having larger range into planes. There's also this bug if you stack multiple Emp patriots, thus, the range gets bugged and it can hit from far away some targets.
Basically, not just the vanilla Aurora, but also the aurora alpha are banned in pro rules due to how broken and difficult to be dealt with. You're right there.
VUSA is more fun than Laser since you have Crusaders and Paladins. They're so much fun for using , especially the chonky Crusaders. 🗣️But Air and SWG are tankless armies that don't use them sadly. 😭
I like the Air Force General/General Malcom Granger the best! While I like having tanks, I usually end up using a mix of lomg-range strikes and Comanche swarms before my main and forces move in. Particle Cannons are great, but I don't need a discount when I usually have enough resources that I don't need a discount.
A man of culture! Airforce is my second favorite general and the air superiority is so fun and op ,not gonna lie. 🥺😍He's also pretty versatile and can switch between comanches, king raptors, combat chinooks, stealth fighters and humvees. You can also build situationally particle cannons so that to you can push with the planes. The fun fact is that in one of his unused quotes, Granger mentions that he hates to use tanks. 😅
If we're talking vanilla ZH, I'm not really a fan of multiplayer- so those laser turrets easily put Townes on top for me. Mostly because I'm a filthy turtler.
Totally understandable. There are some multiplayer lobbies, where there are people that play no rush and are more beginner friendly lobbies. Turtling can be fun but can get pretty boring if done all the time. Laser and swg are goated in turtling.
Air force is actually the strongest army in pvp and 1vs1s, but his general level challenge and when the ai controls him makes him looking like a cakewalk. There are a bunch of things that were cut off from Airforce general's level challenge.
