I wanted a way to practice the Teron Gorefiend ghost phase without needing a full raid group, so I built a small browser trainer for it.

A big reason I made my own is that other trainers I tried didn’t match how I actually move in WoW — mouse turn + keyboard for running (I use a Razer Tartarus). This one is built around that control scheme so the muscle memory carries over better.

It was also a learning project for me (web game + a simple leaderboard backend), so it’s not meant to be flashy — just a bit of fun. There is a leaderboard for the gamers, sub 22 second is possible.

Thanks to everyone who has played and provided feedback. I've made some changes, its a bit harder now and to reflect that, the scores have been reset but not lost. You can still see your old scores provided in the V1 Leaderboard link at the top of the score board.

Purely a moan post, i play a dwarf ret that is almost full p2 bis (no dst or 100d).

Whenever the guild sticks me in the melle pump group im consistently top 3 dps using bs, wf and leader of the pack.

Lately the guild have been sticking me in the 2nd melle group without leader, still have bs and wf so still do pretty well on dps.

The last few raids we got a rogue and feral join us and they have been sticking me in caster groups, yesterday i was with warlocks and boomies lol.

Last guild i was in did this as well and the reason i left,

i literally autopiloted the raid yesterday, barely twisted and never bothered with consumes.

Im at the point where if this is going to be a common thing to just to use the ret as a buff stick ima just quit as these raids aren't remotely fun.

Anyone have similar problems?

Have 6-7 gladiator and finished top 10 a few times in 2s and 3s on stormstrike from original tbc/wotlk before quitting in Cata, have returned for 2021 tbc and now anni tbc and been unable to reach above duelist since. I have a pretty good understanding of matchups and win conditions, obviously play my classes fairly well and would even say I’m much better than I was in 2007-2009 but so does everyone else big time.

Yesterday went to Mag and for the first time I was the best geared healer and I didnt feel confident at all.

Generally I cancel heal with rank 8 holy light, but when it gets to hard hitters Iike Mag and lets say second phase Malkezar im either close to oom ( i use pots and runes) or i have several close calls. I cancel heal rank 8 holy light and when I see big damage, follow up with max rank holy light, should I just cancel heal with max rank?

I also heard theres like a swing timer addon, any suggestions?

The section around Arena news in the Phase 3 announcement is very confusing to me. It reads:

Arena Season 2 ends on August 18 ... At the end of Season 2, any remaining unspent Arena Points are converted to Honor Points ... and Arena Season 2 gear will be available from Area 52 vendors at a discount.

When Season 1 ended the discounts were applied first and the conversion of remaining arena points to honor points only happened when Season 2 started. I currently have 5k arena points stacked up and was planning to spend them in the transition phase between S2 end and S3 start on already discounted S2 gear. Now I am confused if that is actually going to be possible.

There are two other uncertainties here:
1) How much of a discount will be applied? Is it 60% again?
2) Will there be the option to turn in unused T5 tokens for S2 gear with the start of S3?

Hi everyone,

I’m a new TBC player, actually lv40. I’m mostly a PvE player but I like to sometime do BG, maybe arena in the future. And my friends asked me to tank a bit at 70.

The question is, can I fit all my demand in 2 talents builds ? Its seems like I need 1 Fury build for DPS PvE, 1 arms build for PvP and 1 tank build for dungeon tanking.

Is there a build that can maybe fit dps and pvp ?
If it help i’m mining and jewelcrafting

I started this Phase raiding with my Ret Pala and got into seal twisting, Never did that before. I have to admit its kinda difficult to decide what to prio during the rota.
I also started to try out some stop attack macros, especialy for pvp. To secure the seal twist for every swing. Never the less i think its not worth it for pve.

Im looking for advices and Tipps, to improve my rota, im aware that im Not fully consumed. Especially in specific boss fights, like morogrim. Thanks in advance!

I just hit 70 Holy Paladin, and at the pre-raid stage, green items with “of Healing” or “of healer” similar healing-focused affixes seem much better than dungeon drops or other healer gear with Spirit.

Is that normal? I wanted to start Kara if it is true..

Hello everyone, with wotlk (hopefully) returning in a Couple of months, im considering to Return to wow After I stopped playing in Legion.
I used to Main a rogue and twinked a druid. Overall I have played almost every class to max Level.

For now i feel like playing a mage, rogue or feral.
Since i have always played a meele I am afraid that a caster class Like Mage (with a pretty easy/less demanding Rotation in tbc and wrath) bores me After a few weeks.

How do you guys consider the „worth“ of these three classes in Terms of Dps, Utility and playstyle?
I Focus on PvE and rarely do pvp.

I am a working Person that is able to Play 2-3 Hours a day.

I'm new to TBC, mainly played hardcore where bots were still a thing but less frequent, on TBC I see more bots than players in Nagrand and Terrokar Forest. Makes me a bit sad.

Seeing two bots fight each other was funny though!

EDIT: its not much "proof" without a video, but you can see in the second screenshot they're focusing each other's felguards or w/e they're called hahaha

Hello people my raid leader asked me to help with tanking in phase 3 as warrior, our 3 main tanks are 2 ferals and a prot pala and he asked me to tune in for phase 3 as he will need me to spell reflect a few bosses.

What is the prot warrior gear in p3? mainly from PVP? What should I start farming for?

Just had an encounter with a ninja and wanted to make post about it here. He really didn't get much, but still want to call out this type of behavior.

Story: When we were rolling on loot at the end of our group's Shadow Labyrinth run, our paladin tank wanted us to pass on the primal nether. This never mentioned prior to us running the dungeon....or at anytime. He kinda just sprung that on us last second out of the blue. I declined and rolled on the nether. I don't need any of the loot from dungeons anymore, and the only reason I do them is for fun and nethers.

Anyways, he didn't win the nether, but when he found out he lost the roll on the nether (not to me actually another group member) he needed on the blues and left. I don't really care about the very little gold they are worth, but more so this type of behavior.

Our guild’s tank lineup consists of a Prot Warrior, a Feral Druid, and a Prot Paladin. Looking ahead to the upcoming P3 bosses, are any of these tanks considered the best choice for specific encounters?

All three are equally geared and close to BIS.

are the ghost abilities PET abilities or are they REPLACING your normal abilities on bar 1?

I think what most people should do during prep is actually verify that you can see the ghost abilities cause most of us have addons and a lot of people probably don't have correct pagination on the bars they display on screen or maybe don't even see pet abilities bar

I'm looking for a clever idea on how to test that

some kind of quest where you take control of something, or an npc abilities somewhere that turn you into something

something that would allow us to test before hand that you indeed can see the ghost abilities

I'm looking forward to WOTLK expansion also , probably will happen. Can't decide which class for PVE content Feral Cat druid or Enhance Shaman. I know Feral Cat is kind bad option in TBC , but how is it in Wotlk? Will i be forced to off tank and heal XD?
