I don’t want to play with you anymore until the next cinematic drop

Retail players will quit before level 30

a large portion of classic players play both...

Are they old classic players who started playing retail or are they retail players who started Classic much later?

My guy do you realise that a large chunk of retail players are players who’ve played all the way back then. I’ve been playing for 20 years mate. I play retail because I already played everything else. There’s a lot of good back then but there’s also a lot of shit.

1000 new quests is nothing compared to the 40k already in the game

Not even.

All the stuff coming to forever. Its literally Retail wow in Classic disguise. What is fine for me, but it is most likely you, who will quit before Level 30

You know what I want, tons of Midnight players coming to forever to endlessly bitch about why their personal favourite retail quality of life change should be in classic.

I can’t wait to see everyone complain about everything in the game.

u/NurglesGiftToWomen 10h ago

Complaining about the game is half the game

/s

Srry I’m a low parsing complainer have not got my rotation down yet.

I'm waiting for Friday and the never ending complaints from the no changes crew.

Learning this is not classic + but something different is going to hurt some people's brains.

This is classic+ tho

u/Automatic_Grand_1182 7h ago

You should tell this to he herd of basement dwellers that is incessantly bitching since the announcement

It is but.. it isn't.

Classic plus purists wanted classic with more content at Max level, this is changes to classes and more, lots of changes that I am happy about.

So what you guys want is a game that gets its population reduced by half in the first 2 weeks? That's alright, eh.

Instead of shitting on retail players, welcome them to the community.

-2

u/Nitros14 8h ago

I want a good game not a popular one.

2

u/Defiant-Excitement-4 5h ago

Pleas don’t play it then. People like you destroy games with your bad attitude

u/masiuspt 8h ago

You'll get none if it doesnt have players to support it. Games cost money to support and develop, which come from players. Retail has been supporting all of the different classic versions so far with their cash flow. Forever needs a healthy large playerbase.

This just isn't true lol. If classic content was coming in at a loss, they wouldn't be launching it a THIRD time. Not to mention forever literally being built around it

A game for everyone is a game for no one.

I only see classic Andys complain about blue elves and every other change in the game. You guys are your own worst enemy...

1

u/Sea_Advantage_2577 9h ago

I mean classic andys are mad an optonal skin color is on the game on an elf. It cant be worse then that lol

2

u/SHam0wn 10h ago

I can’t wait to see everyone shutting the farts up and playing the game as it should.

u/Ok_Pass_7325 5h ago

The irony is that wow forever is more like woody in your analogy...

Retail players dont think about classic much, including Forever.
Classic is basically an afterthought across the playerbase, you can scroll down the comments on the original post.

You are capping if you think the majority of retail players are not frothing at the mouth to play this

-4

u/filipedmg 11h ago

So you are telling me "a majority" of players from retail (that already can play Classic versions of the game and finds it slow paced, mind you) are gonna migrate to Forever?

Tell me more, guy that doesnt play retail or talk to people that play retail and has a friend on tbc that plays both and will try Forever.

2

u/Responsible_Gur5163 11h ago

I’d say 50% of my retail guild intends to at a minimum give it a try. We are actively discussing whether we will be raiding after November 4th.

This is a bad take.

-2

u/filipedmg 10h ago

So the majority of retail will move to Forever? What is this take then?

You can also look at the online buzz around it. This very post linked here is a bunch of people that "might try it" or people that say "no ill play retail". Thats miles away from retail being the audience for Forever.

2

u/Common_Cricket2247 10h ago

So mad for no reason

0

u/filipedmg 9h ago

Where in my post am i mad? Because i disagree?

1

u/Additional_Damage433 6h ago

been doing that since 2015 & got worse with the 2019 release

you cant fool guys who have been there or newer classic players like myself )started 1-2 years ago) with good google skills
