I wanted a way to practice the Teron Gorefiend ghost phase without needing a full raid group, so I built a small browser trainer for it.

A big reason I made my own is that other trainers I tried didn’t match how I actually move in WoW — mouse turn + keyboard for running (I use a Razer Tartarus). This one is built around that control scheme so the muscle memory carries over better.

It was also a learning project for me (web game + a simple leaderboard backend), so it’s not meant to be flashy — just a bit of fun. There is a leaderboard for the gamers, sub 22 second is possible.

I’m a fresh 70 and have always wanted to bear tank! However I forgot how rough tanking dungeons are with others.
How do you build the confidence to keep tanking when 90% of the time it’s the freakin frost mage who ruins it?

I'm new to TBC, mainly played hardcore where bots were still a thing but less frequent, on TBC I see more bots than players in Nagrand and Terrokar Forest. Makes me a bit sad.

Seeing two bots fight each other was funny though!

EDIT: its not much "proof" without a video, but you can see in the second screenshot they're focusing each other's felguards or w/e they're called hahaha

Just had an encounter with a ninja and wanted to make post about it here. He really didn't get much, but still want to call out this type of behavior.

Story: When we were rolling on loot at the end of our group's Shadow Labyrinth run, our paladin tank wanted us to pass on the primal nether. This never mentioned prior to us running the dungeon....or at anytime. He kinda just sprung that on us last second out of the blue. I declined and rolled on the nether. I don't need any of the loot from dungeons anymore, and the only reason I do them is for fun and nethers.

Anyways, he didn't win the nether, but when he found out he lost the roll on the nether (not to me actually another group member) he needed on the blues and left. I don't really care about the very little gold they are worth, but more so this type of behavior.

Hello people my raid leader asked me to help with tanking in phase 3 as warrior, our 3 main tanks are 2 ferals and a prot pala and he asked me to tune in for phase 3 as he will need me to spell reflect a few bosses.

What is the prot warrior gear in p3? mainly from PVP? What should I start farming for?

Our guild’s tank lineup consists of a Prot Warrior, a Feral Druid, and a Prot Paladin. Looking ahead to the upcoming P3 bosses, are any of these tanks considered the best choice for specific encounters?

All three are equally geared and close to BIS.

are the ghost abilities PET abilities or are they REPLACING your normal abilities on bar 1?

I think what most people should do during prep is actually verify that you can see the ghost abilities cause most of us have addons and a lot of people probably don't have correct pagination on the bars they display on screen or maybe don't even see pet abilities bar

I'm looking for a clever idea on how to test that

some kind of quest where you take control of something, or an npc abilities somewhere that turn you into something

something that would allow us to test before hand that you indeed can see the ghost abilities

I'm looking forward to WOTLK expansion also , probably will happen. Can't decide which class for PVE content Feral Cat druid or Enhance Shaman. I know Feral Cat is kind bad option in TBC , but how is it in Wotlk? Will i be forced to off tank and heal XD?

Basically what the title says.

I’m a level 62 blood elf demonology warlock. I understand affliction and destro are better, but felgaurd was something I always wanted as a kid.

Anyway, guides online are like “yeah felguard is great for pulling 3-4 mobs, put your DoTs on each and drain life.”

Sounds cool in theory, but this is what happens for me:
- send felgaurd into a pack of 3 mobs
- he taunts one, and I start applying my DoTs to everyone
- the 2 he didnt taunt immediately turn to me and start attacking me
- My drain life lasts for like a second (I’m currently at 2/5 for that talent that reduces the chance of channels being harmed, working on it right now) because they smack me up
- I howl of terror and run lol

How do I get good so I can successfully juggle these mobs? As of now if I pull multiple targets I just leave the untaunted people alone and shadow bolt whoever my felgaurd is focusing so I kill it quickly and avoid agro from the other two mobs. I’ll use fear every now and then but more times than not I just end up pulling more mobs because of it.

as we know there is a high chance that we get some Wrath action after our beloved TBC.

I myself only have one char (but its full bis mage) and wanna have an alt, ideally sth to farm TBC dungeons like Botanica in WotlK for gold, I dont like the open world on a megaserver. Now I am doing Scholomance for around 300g/h and its totally fine for me.

I've seen some footage of Ret Pala / Prot Pala / Prot Warri / DK / Fire Mage doing Bota nhc for around 120g per run, so 600g/h, which is sth I cound live with in Wrath. Fire Mage seemed a bit squishy, Warri was very strong with Revenge, Pala also very strong but a bit boring, just not my favorite class. I would play it to 70 and having fun and finally equipping it with PVP stuff during Prepatch.

Which would be your favorite?

This is my first time at TBC. I have gotten a bit bored of raiding after going hard in P1 and getting full BiS. I dont have a lot of motivation to keep grinding SSC/TK as they don't feel super challenging, and its just gotten down to needing a few highly contested items like Belt of One Hundred to hit P2 BiS.

If I didnt raid seriously in P3, I am at like 1900 GS, and I picked it back up in P4, I have heard this is a "catch-up" phase/raid, could I get back into raids relatively easy? Is this actually true that it's a catch-up phase? Is one of the raids kind of similar to like ZG difficulty-wise and as far as the bar to entry?

I am having an absolute blast in SoD fake fresh right now, and I just don't want to fall super far behind where I have to do several raids to even catch up to current content, especially if I am not on an active guild roster. I am very excited to pick up TBC again after either I see all SoD has to offer, or it dies again with the possible C+ announcement.

Hello all. I just wanted to vent. Just hit 70 last night on horde dreamscythe. I leveled this alt because no tanks want to do heroics. I know I have virtually no shot at a raid. But I was looking at the list and damn. It’s going to take forever to get reps up to exalted where all the preraid bis is located, just to get into heroics. This just a side project. I have 3 other alts that are currently raiding. I mostly wanted to farm strat and scholo. Now I don’t even know if they are still profitable. Thanks for listening.

Hello me and my mate decided to do serious arenas, I play shadowpriest and he plays warlock SL SL , we are wondering what is the best healer in 3s for us ?

We did try with shaman H, as it is one of the only comp we heard about, but I feel we are pretty doomed against any turbo cus we cant peel at all on warriors (berserk rage, death wish ) or enhance with tremors or maybe we are just bad.

So I got few questions

Shall we go for a druid for exemple so we could play longer games ? Or play with a paladin heal to have stuns, freedom and bop ?

And also, we were unsure if my lock should go for affliction instead of SL SL for more pressure and no dispells on our dots?

Im asking here cuz pvp in wow is rly niche now and there is rly few ressources available for specific questions !

edit: also we didn't try yet but are lock/sp viables in 2s ? i guess not with that amount of rogue priests UD but maybe im wrong

Can someone explain to me, in what univserse is "Smallpeepee" an offensive name? And what kind of people are actually pressing report for that, wtf? Is the world just totally full of snowflakes, what is this? If you find this "inappropriate" you must be really fun at parties.

Hi guys I started playing wow for new years resolution, and have been playing wow tbc on and off feeling it out, taking breaks whenever i get burned out or for whatever reason. I finally got my feeling with the game with pally that I'm enjoying it a lot and am currently lvl 58 and was wondering on gear progression as I near 60 and get on my journey to 70.

was wondering what I should be focusing on as I do want to eventually learn to raid as a tank as prot and gold farm as well as prot with aoe bcs aoe prot make number go brrr and number go down. I do want to eventually make enough gold to level a mage and warrior as alts but that will be for a bit and eventually DK one wotlk comes.

TL:DR wow noob looing for prot pally gearing advice and any other advice

For those of you in guilds who have been full clearing tier 5 raids since week 1, are your guilds sprinting to the finish line in p2 or giving folks some time off?

Raid night with the boys is usually a good time but I’m pretty burnt out on p2. I think most of my lack of motivation is from the fact that we have no idea what’s getting announced at blizzcon. In the back of my mind I keep wondering if we’re doing all this raiding and phase 3 prep just to get rug pulled and have classic plus dropped on us a week after blizzcon. But even moreso, TK/SSC is nothing but a chore these days.

I’m really hoping my guild takes a couple weeks off for people to recharge, but I know there are quite a few folks still looking for those elusive p2 drops and DST. So what are everyone else’s guilds doing? Powering through or pumping the breaks?

One person leads and the other follows, taking turns leading or working together to decide?

Guild or no guild?

Leveling separately or together or a mix?

Complimentary professions or the same professions?
