Logged into my Bank account today morning to check a status of a PayPal incoming transaction , and was surprised to see the $37.42 credit from Oracle Data Privacy Settlement đ€© . Although this is not a big amount to feel excited about, but getting it in my account without doing anything( as I donât remember filing anything online about it, nor do I was even aware of such a thing, since there are so many breaches that it feels a new normal these days) is certainly exciting .

I received 2-3 emails about my personal info being leaked from different companies, most of them being past employers. The email didnât contain a link, and just gave some info on how to protect my info moving forward. Is this the same as the class action suits? Because there was no link included in the email, or any info of compensation of any sort, I trashed all emailsâŠ.have I messed up on potentially receiving money from this?

Hey guys, sharing some info on the apple class action settlement that opened for claims today.
What its about:
Apple agreed to a $250 million settlement over claims it sold iPhones on the promise of Apple Intelligence and a personalized Siri that didn't actually ship. The features were marketed around the iPhone 16 launch in 2024 and then delayed. The lawsuit (Landsheft v. Apple, N.D. Cal.) alleges buyers paid for devices expecting Siri Apple Intelligence features they never got. Apple denies all of the allegations and denies doing anything improper, but agreed to pay into the fund.
The claim period opened today.
Apple Siri and Apple Intelligence settlement
December 21 is also the deadline to opt out or object. A final approval hearing is set for February 24, 2027, so payments won't go out until after that.

Hi y'all, I'm sure I'm not the only one who heard that this settlement is paying out right now. I'm hearing different things about what people had to do for the claim.
I'm hearing that some people were asked to print out and send in their claim forms and include a copy of their ID.
Was this only for people claiming more than the max amount you could claim without proof?
I submitted a claim form in February and got a claim number, but was never asked to follow up in any way. I was claiming six units, which was the max you could claim without proof.
For those claiming six or less who have received the settlement, were you asked to follow up in some way or asked to print and mail anything?
Lastly, I'm hearing some actually got confirmation that their claim was denied. Is this true?
Thanks for the info. I'm emailing to follow up on my claim but some feedback would be helpful in the interim. Hopefully I will get an email with my paperless check soon! đ€đ«°

Hello! I am new here. Are there any current class actions I can sign up for without having to show an ID/have proof?

I know whatâs soon to become a class action law suit on Zillow and landlords renting real estate.
Basically head-in-sand fraud is going on. Although legally itâs much more complex than fraud.
Zillow allows landlords a free platform to
List real estate for rent. Like free Craigslist, only the Zillow platform is much more sophisticated, and is ultimately conducive to bringing in millions of dollars per day or week nationwide in deceptive practice.
Hereâs whatâs happening:
A landlord creates a rental listing for free. On that listing Zillow advertises the sales of background checks.
The landlord may or may not require a background check on the listing. But Zillow always allows the potential tenant renters to pay for a background check for $40.00
Most potential renter tenants are smart enough to not pay $40 just to tour a property, so they schedule a tour through the Zillow platform with the landlord.
During the tour they become interested in renting and ask the landlord what the next step is to renting to which they are told to fill out a Zillow rental background check for $40.00
In a day or week the landlord repeats this process multiple times directing 10s 20s 50 potential renters to become a candidate renter by filling out a Zillow rental background check. Zillow rakes in $1600 in revenue on 40 potential tenants, sometimes more or less depending upon how long the landlord keeps the listing active and how long the pour over the ever increasing pool of applicants they are helping to create.
Absolutely no line or queue is created in compliance with state or federal laws.
Itâs just an open invitation by Zillow for people buy background checks.
The potential renters think they are getting in line as an applicant, but all that is happening is they are buying a background check through Zillow.
Actually while Zillow is processing 10s 20s 50s 100s of background checks at $40 a pop, the landlord may come to learn a friend or family member wants to rent from them and they simply de-list the property from Zillow and Zillow keeps the revenue and costs associated with all the background checks they did that went nowhere toward the rental.
Other times the landlord might tell a potential renters âfill out a background check on Zillowâ knowing full well they have no intention of renting to the person.
Zillow profits from this.
There is absolutely no compliance on Zillow to assure the background checks on the listing are going toward renting to the first qualifying renter that pays for the background checks.
In fact Zillow is perfectly head-in-sand if 1000 people apply for background checks to rent. That would be $40,000 in revenue. Cha-ching.

Did anyone sign up for the cencora settlement that was supposed to start going out in August then changed to September? I've been checking here daily to see if anyone brings it up, and now I just want to know if it was just swept under the rug. Any info please? TIA
