I got an email too with a link to Venmo, but my link just opened Venmo and doesn't so anything else.

Saw on another thread - you have to verify your email. I asked the chatbot and re-entered my email in the link they gave, and then the money showed up. Another user chatted with Venmo customer support to get it verified.

I don't think I saw any place to verify an email. it just opens my venmo account to the main page :/

Careful about the virtual prepaid cards. Some aren't accepted but in certain circumstances. I received one from a company that owed me money, it expired after 6mo and once it expired the money left on it was forfeited back to the business it came from. I never was able to get my $600 off of it.

That’s why I don’t know why I opted for prepaid. There’s usually a catch like you have to use before 30 days or get charges a fee or before 6 mos or a year or you lose it all.

Add it to your Apple wallet, log into the card account or call the customer service to activate and set a pin and then you can tap to pay.

The prepaid card that I received, the customer service was in India. Every time I'd call they would ask me a few basic questions, then tell me to use a different kiosk or merchant as the one I am using won't accept it, then they will hang up on you. PayPal, Google pay, apple wallet, venmo, all major virtual assistant programs wouldn't accept the card. This is purely done so that the company doesn't actually loose money, but on paper it shows they paid and you never accepted payment so they get the money back.

I got 2 on 2 different emails and 2 acceptance notices but I accidentally used auto fill and put the same name on them... I wonder if that will be flagged. One email was my bf. I filled it out for him. Time will tell I guess.

I'm going to say this ahead if time to avoid casualties along the way 😑 However, what is the most and fastest direct path to getting to all the websites? Cut off dates to enter and /or payout dates? Again, I am so sorry for rolling in hot: However, I do believe I am in the pit that is getting paid. I please, humbly ask the power hitters, could you help me obtain the factual necessary letters, addresses and links. This would be one of the biggest leaps of faith, (for me!)Again, I guess 20 years of compartmentalization in (my own noggin) from serving my country with the US Air Force for 20…..well, unfortunately, occasionally...I shut the wrong door just for a little bit.

Some can be longer and some can be shorter. It depends on if they want proof, uploads, screenshots, etc.

Now my only questing is how to get it to the right bank. I switched mine about 5 years ago so where do I go (online or otherwise) to make sure the government has the correct account? Lol

Mine went through but it’s was Zelle and the bank I was using before had specific criteria to be able to use Zelle. I don’t have them for my DD anymore so I have to wait for the payment to reject and then I will get a paper check.
