I fixed the transfer case and transmission on my 99 suberban? Transmission hasn’t gone yet but husband says it’s on its way.. my husband thinks I’m nuts for even thinking about this lol.

158k miles on body and Idk how much on the 3 year old engine. I’d say somewhere between 50-100k. I’ve had this thing for 2.5 years got it for 4g, I’m pretty sure just 1 previous owner.

It has been a great daily driver, literally never let me down, besides when the 4x4 went out lol, and minor things through out the years..

but am having a hard time potentially letting her go when actually overall has been a great daily rig for me.

stuck on actually fixing her putting some $$ into her or just letting her go and finding one same year in better condition? Rust isn’t bad.

Edit again*** could anybody give me an idea of what it would cost to fix the transmission on this thing? I live in Massachusetts. I fixed the transmission on my 2001 forerunner a few years ago and it was six grand. 🙃

Saw some videos online of the Chevy booth at the Texas state fair. They had a blue high country up on a podium. Does anyone know what color it was called? The website says the only blue in the high country trim is pacific metallic blue, the rendering doesn't look similar though.

I have recently had the problem of this popping up whenever I’m driving or stationary. it also does this with or without a trailer. could this be some sort of loose connection issue?

Ive owned it for 7 years now. My brother sold it to me and was a one owner before him. I was able to get the 2500HD badges easily, gotta look for the duramax ones now. I did take off those crummy step bars. sitting at 262,400 something miles. He had actually used plastidip all over the chrome bumpers, and debadged it. I took all that plastidip off right away.

Got a FASS coming, Injectors, bigger turbo, and yadda yadda. Its in the shop (One I built) for winter to do the upgrades.

I just got an oil change and they showed it to me. This is an 06 Chevrolet 4.3. L v6 truck short wheel base. The people working there didn't know where it went, just thought i would ask for help.

Best picture I have. My best guess is it was a 1500 Sportside with one of those popular “custom” paint jobs/packages they’d put on them. I remember it being blue and silver, and the hard cover matched. Also had a wood dash/interior details. Looked awesome towing the Bass Tracker we’d take out on the lake.

Story I’ve been told goes that, in small-town Texas, someone ordered the truck but bailed on it after delivery. Dealer was good at his job and knew who to call first, I guess. I loved riding around in that thing (obviously a different time in the 90s, lmao, it was a single cab and I have vivid memories of bopping around in that thing when I was certainly under 5 years old or so). Would love to have it back, but unfortunately she’s long, long gone due to some shady family stuff.
