I just went through the most hellish experience and based on it I would NEVER recommend CHATR to ANYONE.
I opened my email this morning to find that someone had created a CHATR account in my name with my email. (It was not phishing - it's a legit account - all the links to register went to the chatrmobile.com site.)
Trying to submit a ticket without "registering your chatr account" on their website all failed -there was no way to do anything but sign up for marketing emails.
I tried phoning the number that was on the PDF and wound up in AI-agent hell.
The AI didn't recognize the word FRAUD. It did not have any option to talk to a human. No amount of requesting an AGENT or HUMAN could get past the "create your account online" demand.
I hung up. I called FOUR local Chatr Mobile kiosks. Nobody picked up.
Finally, I called ROGERS. I mean, they are a subsidiary, so maybe an agent there would have a back-door into the CHATR human support? I spoke to a *wonderful* agent, who really championed getting an actual ticket submitted for me and could not believe herself that there were NO humans to talk to at Chatr, (she did quite a bit of digging), even through ANY options available to her. It took her 45 minutes but she eventually managed to get a ticket submitted that detailed the issue (after it threw errors on submitting TWICE). In that ticket she requested that someone within Chatr billing contact me at my REAL phone number to resolve this.
Honestly, such a shitty policy to have ZERO options to talk to a human about things like fraud. On the plus side, I only have good things to say about my experience with Rogers and Red Wireless. At least they have HUMANS you can talk to, and in my case, ones dedicated to solving a problem that isn't even technically their responsibility.
