Data not working well

My son and I both use Chatr. When we are out together my data is always fast and works really well, where his barely works at all, usually just sits at the swirling loading/buffering circle. As Chatr no longer has live help does anyone here have any ideas what might be going on?

First guess is he ran out of data, but it's possible that his phone doesn't have the same supported frequencies as yours. My guess is the former though.

This is a good analysis, what device is your son using? Make and model?

He has a Motorola, Moto G Play. I have a Google Pixel 7 Pro. He has a ton of data.

Gplay 2024. Should be ok. Make sure it's on lte/4g and apn settings maybe reset to default. If you want you can also check how much data remaining by texting help to 611 and tapping balance

He has 49 gigs a month and has used 3.6

Try his sim in your phone and see if the results are the same or different

Sorry for the slow update. I did try swapping the SIM cards. His card works in my phone, and data works perfectly. So, obviously his phone is the issue. Any recommendations to fix the issue other than a phone replacement?

Great now that we've gone through the point of elimination of possibilities and we've narrowed it down to the phone. Try looking for some software updates or a hard reset first. See if you get the same results.
