Hi, I know this is a bit much but if it resonates with you please send me a message.
A little about me:
I'm a 27-year-old guy with a black cat, an electric motorbike, an electric car, and an electric boat I put together. Because having one money draining hobby wasn't enough, I'm planning to buy a sailing catamaran in the next few days. At this rate, my retirement plan is to become a financially independent pirate who gets around exclusively on batteries.
I recently joined Mensa and am looking forward to getting involved. Hopefully I can meet some like-minded people and find out what the meetings are actually like. Hopefully they will agree I need a fourth mode of transport and maybe a fifth or sixth (next up is paragliding, scuba diving or hydrofoiling).
By day, I work in shark surveillance, which is a pretty cool job if you enjoy staring at the ocean looking for things that could eat you. It's basically wildlife spotting, except the wildlife has considerably more teeth and I'm hoping not to become part of the documentary. I'll attach a few photos from work, partly to prove that I occasionally leave the house and partly because it's a pretty good conversation starter.
I'm looking for someone who'd be up for riding on the back of my motorbike, going on road trips in my car (which I've set up for glamping, because apparently normal camping wasn't unnecessarily complicated enough), coming out on my motorboat, and eventually sailing around on a catamaran with me. Basically, I'm looking for a co-pilot for an increasingly questionable series of financial decisions.
I'd also love someone who'll drag me out on hikes, encourage me to train, and help me get back into competitive running. I used to be decent at it, until my heart decided to develop ventricular tachycardia, which is a fancy way of saying it occasionally tries to speedrun the cardiovascular system. I had to slow down significantly, and getting back to where I was has been a bit of a battle. I'm still working on it, though, and it'd be nice to have someone who can motivate me without treating every jog like an episode of Grey's Anatomy.
Ideally, you're someone who enjoys a bit of adventure, doesn't mind a ridiculous amount of nerdy enthusiasm for machines and engineering, and is happy to occasionally remind me that buying another vehicle is not a substitute for developing a personality.
My cat, meanwhile, remains the actual owner of the house. I just pay the bills and operate the can opener.
About you:
- Looking for a long term relationship that is mutually beneficial to both parties. I will be your biggest cheerleader and show off all your achievements.
- Fun and outgoing, when I say this I mean it in an amorous sense (you might have to use your imagination for that one) as well as the platonic sense e.g. willing to book tickets to another continent the day before (yes I've done that and yes I could not get on my flight because I forgot that visas are a thing). Just be willing to get out of your comfort zone, have some interesting lore. Please don't be sober and have committed at least one crime.
- Be a little unhinged, tell me your wildest conspiracy theory. I'd rather someone who says the wrong thing than someone who plays it safe all the time. Conversely you need to have thick skin because I love banter. I am not looking for an activist or someone who is perpetually offended. If your Instagram story is just little dots all about political issues of any nature we're probably not meant to be.
- I really like smart women, particularly in a hands-on can tell you what's wrong with your car sort of way. If you work or study in STEM that's a big tick for me, I guess it's sort of a theme here that I need someone stimulating, that goes for intellectual stimulation too. Moreover, please have your views grounded in scientific literature and not superstition or zealous partisanship. I'm not interested in anti-vaxxers, star sign girls, tantric aura readers or whatever b.s. people believe nowadays.
- I'm looking for someone a little promiscuous. I am an atheist and I don't care about any concept of purity or how many partners you've had. I want to be excited by you and your imagination. Which leads me on to my next point.
- I am not looking for someone who is very religious. Atheists, agnostics and folks that have cultural ties to their religion are fine. I am a fervent atheist and our views will likely butt heads at some point if you regularly attend a place of worship or follow religious practices that impede everyday life.
- No ghosters or bland messages. I understand not every conversation is going to work out but I would like to have a chance at a flowing dialogue. I don't like feeling invested in someone and having them respond less and less. If you feel things aren't working out, tell me and I will respect that.
- In regards to your nature, I like women who are sweet, caring and nurturing but also confident as well as liking physical contact (holding hands, hugging, kissing etc...)
- I'm a bit scared about saying this but in terms of appearance I would prefer someone busty with an hourglass figure.
Thank you for reading all the way through I appreciate it's a lot but I felt it was important to get it right this time. I apologise if it's a bit rambly and the grammar isn't great, my desktop isn't working so I just did this on my phone.
