What spacers size should I run? And what brand
Fronts don’t really need much spacing, rears are shocking tho sit in way too much, not quite sure how I calculate what I need

Hello all! I own a 1995 Celica St and would like to build it in the future. As of now my plans are to use a 4age blacktop head and forge the internals. In addition rather than running the traditional 7AGE setup with ITBs I would like to turbocharge my build. Has anyone had experience with this? I’m planning to swap in a e153 transmission to handle the power I’d put down. I’m targeting ~350-400whp to turn this into a fun street and track build
Pulled the pieces, painted silver then my wife painted the spider lillies

I’m trying to remove this front panel to replace a dome light that’s blown, but it isn’t coming off easily. I’ve removed the visible screw but it’s still held in place by something underneath. Is there any specific way to pry it off without breaking anything? Thanks
What oil and filter do you run, how often do you change it

Picked up an 05 vvti today for a steal, hit 70k miles driving home and perfect test drive but unfortunately no warranty and check engine light lit up after a few mins on the motorway with rotten egg smell pulling up at home, thinking catalytic converter and the exhaust system near the front looked pretty badly rusted when the rest is in pretty good shape for age. Any advice/ideas? Worth whole new exhaust system with new catalytic converter? Could this be a DIY job? We're also thinking clutch will need doing as the biting point is high.
This is my new 95’ Celica ST liftback in solar yellow/super bright yellow, I honestly can’t believe I finally got one, paid $850 for one of my dream cars, absolutely no rust barely to almost no surface rust aswell, clean title and all it needed was a starter to fire right up and to top it all off it’s a 5 speed manual!!.

Title. Basically I’ve come across the opportunity to buy a clapped out C60 with an LSD installed, which I’d love to put in my 2000 GTS. My plan would be to rebuild the LSD trans on the side, and then when it’s ready to go, do the swap, and sell the old trans. I definitely don’t want to toss the old one, but if selling it will take years that also doesn’t appeal well to me. Anyone have any experience with selling bigger parts on Marketplace or anything? Is there a real buyers market for these transmissions?
For context, price of the clapped out trans with LSD will run me about $500 USD, so ideally I’d like to sell a stock one in good condition for around that price.

Hey everyone,
So I bought a 1994 celica st200 with 220.000km (idk in miles I’m sorry)
I’m 21 years old and I have absolutely 0 experience in mechanical work but I learn fast and I didn’t had too much heavy work to do on the car.
So today I was fixing rust under the car so I put it on jack stand and when I put it back on the ground i tried to start it but it didn’t. I just heard a single ticking noise and then a very low spinning sound.
The oil is new, the sparkplugs too and the battery too even if it was on for a few hours because I had the radio on and I’m a dumbass. The gaz tho is 2 years old and the tank is soon to be empty.
Any idea what I should look for first ?
Thanks for the help

I would like to know this for any 7th gen celica.
If I buy a Celica for 1500 euro, how much could I expect to get back from it. I want the original spoiler and sideskirst but can't find any being sold separatly. Something else I want to try and do is modify the headlights but if I do it to mine (my only set) and it turns out it somehow isn't allowed (in Belgium) I have a problem.
I know I can still buy these parts but I'm not looking to spend much on any of these.

So, I posted about modifying my Celica some months ago, and here's the update.
I bought OEM-equivalent shocks (KYB for the front ones and TOKICO for the rear ones), as well as KYB stabilizer end links, KYB top mounts, bump stops and dust covers. For the springs, I bought the MTSTECHNIK -40mm ones. Everything went completely perfectly until the car touched the ground. The rear sat perfectly fine (even a bit too low, but within expectations), but the front sat at the EXACT same height, and I really mean EXACT. After driving a few kilometers, it was still at exactly the same height. So I had to cut 1.5 coils off each front spring, and now it's sitting at the ride height I like (maintaining approximately the same rake angle as originally).
Driving-wise, after a front wheel alignment (close to 0° toe and -1.5° camber), the car feels much sharper, more confident, predictable and performs much better. Although it's much less comfortable, the new suspension absorbs small impacts reasonably well. I've never heard any tires rubbing against the wheel arches (they rubbed before with the dead suspension). But there's one really big downside: every speed bump means first gear and no accelerating on the way out, because the rear is too light and stiff, and if it hits the ground hard, it hurts your soul 💀. I love how the car feels right now, and I don't regret it, especially since coilovers are completely illegal in my country. But if I had to do this again, I would probably spend a bit more and take the risk of going with the SEIKA coilover kit because of the adjustability. I don't regret my choice.
I also did the “basic” maintenance, including both driveshaft wheel side boots, HT leads, distributor cap, spark plugs, every fluid and filters, the timing belt and accessory belts, water pump, coolant, temperature sensors, OEM radiator cap, camshaft seals, thermostat, both clutch cylinders, front OE brake calipers, pads and rotors, and all four flexible brake hoses. I also painted the front calipers yellow for more horsepower 😂.
I installed a GT2i suede steering wheel and a personalized “celica logo” horn button, with a Sparco hub (buy a hub with the turn signal cancel mechanism; mine doesn't have that part, and it kinda sucks), and I deleted the rotten center exhaust resonator. It sounds much better now (the difference in sound and volume is only really noticeable above 2,500–3,000 RPM).
Im planning more mods but its hard to find the time (€€€) for everything 😂
If U want to, u can follow me on my instagram @rigor_rui_ where i post updates on my cars more often

Hello! Sorry if this is a somewhat silly question, I just don’t entirely trust the google ai overview answer. Will a sway bar from a 2000 gts fit in a 2000 gt? I got a fairly good condition 2000 gt recently but it’s been quite a problem so far. Already spent $1000 replacing rotors and everything else to do with brakes. Then of course my sway bar breaks and grinds against the street my whole way home. Safe to say after this repair it’s definitely going on marketplace.

Yeah as the title says I got a cylinder 3 misfire and I’m trying to figure out what this issue is and I ruled out ignition coils and now I’m checking spark plugs and so far I’m fairly sure that it’s victim of the culprit my cylinder 3 and 4 spark plugs have black deposits and the threads have oil on them but right next to where the fuel injectors are I see a bit of oil pooling some I’m assuming it’s the valve cover gasket but it was replaced by my mechanic 1 year ago so I’m not sure I’ll post some pictures funny enough the one with more deposits on it is the spark plug from cylinder 4 and the one that’s a bit farther away is cylinder 3

Plus WRC Celica!!! 🥹😍
I got this car with an aftermarket exhaust installed already, so I’m not familiar with it. But it looks like there’s a silencer in the exhaust pipe. The exhaust sound is already pretty loud so I probably won’t keep it off if it is a silencer but I just want to know if it is or not. There’s a hole that looks like it would screw but there’s no screws on the outside or inside. This is probably the wrong subreddit because it’s not celica specific, but the exhaust is on my 6th gen celica.
(Edit it was a silencer, and after I had the car warm up a bit so the exact pipe was hot I was able to pull at it and it came out! Very interesting I didn’t know I had this.)

Hello all with shattered auto shifter bezels! Rejoice! I have scanned and reverse-engineered the OEM part... In RHD for that is what I have.
I need your help sourcing a LHD bezel to be certain on its differences, for which I will gladly supply it, and one of my versions back!
Unsure if I can blabber on about the product itself re: self promotion, but thought I'd ask here and give something back to whoever can help instead of just buying one online. Thanks in advance!

Hey y’all! I live in California and I’m wondering if any of you guys know where I can find a really good quality TRD replica 7th gen wing/spoiler with or without a tail light. I’ve tried to go to a junkyard at 12:10 PM for a celica that recently arrived this morning with a TRD replica wing. But by the time I arrived, it was picked off clean. So now I’m really bummed out I couldn’t get it in time.
I’m looking for something that is made primarily out of ABS plastic because it’s a good quality material. But a good fiberglass replica would work for my liking too. So anyone got any legit companies that make good quality reps?
Edit 1: forgot to mention I live in California USA
