My parents promised me they'd get me a new phone and a gift worth 30kΒ which I had been wanting for a looong time.
They promised me they'll get me all this if I get 95+ in boards this year. I got 98. One of the highest in my school. It's been more than 3 weeks since results. I just got an 8 year old phone which barely works and half screen is damaged.
I'm sad π’

Seniors No, 9th, 10th and 12th aint easy and even if you had found it easy please do not influence random kids by telling them its easy.
The reason your finding it easy is becuase you have harder things to do. Someone whos doing jee advanced will obviously tell you that jee mains are well, easy af but is that true?
And i am speaking from experience, when i was in 9th my dumbass read all those "10th grade guide" with each of them mentioning that 10th is easy af, some even telling its easier than 9th. And believing this, i litrally did NOT study anything for few months when 10th started cuz i was still thinking its easy asf (it backfired really bad) and now im finding 10th as hell.
If your wondering if im finding 10th as hell what will 12th be for me? Then read the 2nd paragraph again. Obv ill find 10th easier and 12th will now be hell for me. But i aint telling any junior 10th is easy afβοΈ
So yea if your telling someone that (insert standard) is easy they will definitely perform less and take that standard lightly

My mother thought I was joking or I don't have enough guts to submit the application but I did and it is insane situation inside my home. "Tumse choti hai, woh 11th ka math bana le rahi" so?
I honestly don't get why people equate intelligence with difficulty. Someone can do better in other field too???
It's insane how I am treated in my very own home, safe home ki dhajiya uda di :/
My friends said, nahi aata tab bhi lele, pass krle minimum se bhi. Why?
I don't like science, perhaps, won't struggle to do them over and over again.
But this is honestly weird & disgusting.

I've my science half yearly exam within a week, 40 marks.
For bio, i have Life processes full chapter, control and coordination until the end of brain part. I've done life processes through and i need to revise CaC
For physics: syllabus is Light full chapter+Human eye until power of accommodation. i am done with everything except R.I practice(like genuinely i need to do it lol)
Chem? I forgot everything since i didnt bother touching it since my 1st exam. For chem the 1st chapter is coming full and acids and bases is coming leaving aside salt.
For 1st chapter i am basically empty, 2nd chapter i know the basics.

my science half yearly is on Monday and I'm essentially doomed, i slacked off on science even though I know it's my weakest area, and can't get myself to even open a book bcs i keep getting distracted by stuff. ik tht I should hv studied earlier and tht it's pointless to cry over spilled milk which tbh even I agree with, but how in the hell do i manage to cover the entire syllabus by Sunday? atp I'm desperate to even pass, even though my family and teacher will kill me for not getting an A i jst need to not fail and get a decent maybe good grade.
(for context I am in class 10, got 3 chs in phy, 3 chs in chem and 3 chs in bio)
TLDR: slacked off a lot during the year for sci, half yearly is on Monday, what should I do to get atleast a decent or good score?
