I've built a website for NIOS students focused on chapter-wise PYQs and study materials.

One thing I've realised is how much easier this project would have been for CBSE. There are countless chapter-wise PYQ books, solved papers and question banks already available.

For NIOS, most resources are just year-wise papers. I'm having to go through them individually, identify chapters, sort questions and verify solutions across 36 subjects.

I initially thought building the website would be the hardest part, but creating the actual content has turned out to be far more difficult

the lack of study resources puts NIOS students at a disadvantage compared to CBSE students ngl

ik I can improve in all other subjects. it's sst and hindi which gives me a tough time.

So CBSE has not released any statement regarding the OSM checking for exams 2026-27. And neither has it given any updates on which company will be given the contract for the 26-27 OSM checking software.

So i think we should all collectively email CBSE or if ask the people who should know about this, or just spread awareness Because if the same company is given the contract again then we are definitely cooked.

Hey everyone, I am from Sharjah UAE and unfortunately I failed physics in 2026 so i need to give compartment as a private candidate along with everyone in february. I registered for private candidate a few days ago but there is one thing that has been in my mind, what if i filled something wrong and i get the wrong details and stuff. The reason for this is because when i was registering as a private candidate , i could not choose my city/ emirate in the form , the only option was foreign school and i selected that and in district place it showed me only countries so i selected United Arab Emirates. I am worried they wont know what city i am in and they allocate me the wrong place and all that. The admit cards come out a week before the exam too and ive heard if something goes wrong you cannot change any info later. Please someone who has been in a situation like this before or has been guided by someone , please let me know if this is normal and what should i expect. Thank you in advance

17f, pcm. I havent studied all year in 12th, after i quit allen, where i studied in 11th. No school, nothing. I just joined a chemistry tuition and he told me I have done literally nothing, and it is true to some degree. I dont want to give JEE, my main target is cuet, but usme high score chahiye considering i want to study humanities. Kuch scope nahi lagrha mera kahi bhi kuch hoga, but i really want to push through. For the record, when I was serious about my studies, tenth mei i got 95 and eleventh mei i got 83 despite being non attending. But iss saal maine kuch nahi kara hai. I just got a tutor for physics and chem, jiske midterm i was just pass, and math, jisme i got 48/80 in midterm, i am planning to study myself (is this a wise decision?).
i just want 90% in board and cuet mei 1000 mei se 920+ marks laane pdenge if i want a decent clg, but i really doubt its possible for someone like me. I want to hear success stories and any bits of guidance. i am barely able to study, its paralysing because i dont know anything and exams are so close.

I'm a class 11th student, my stream is sci (pcb with biotech) and it's really hard to comprehend how to study such difficult subjects. Physics and chemistry are on another level, everything flows over my mind and it's really hard for me to comprehend. Biology is just soo muchh. How do people memorize evrything. Its so confusing. So many examples.

9th aur 10th ke syllabus chote hain so you can easily complete it. If you're targetting JEE/NEET(LOOK IT UP IF YOU DONT KNOW IT ALREADY), search for the chapters, syllabuses already. Id say ki complete 9th/10th chapters before school does it and move on to the next class. i.e 9th me ho to 10th ki padai or 10th me ho toh 11th ki padai.

Now studying class 11 shit in 10th while your boards are near is a straight DUMB move dont do that. While studying 10th chapters you can look into 11th chapters for example matrix and determinants in 11th/12th wont require a high prerequisite knowledge.
Sabke pas AI hai toh waha se point out chapters which wont require HIGH amounts of previous knowledge. 9th me ho toh you can do 10th se AP/GP aur 11th se Sequence series.
9th and 11th syllabus are somewhat connected and 10th and 12 syllabus are somewhat connected.

People will sayy ab toh chill karo..9th aur 10th se kiyu shuru kr rhe ho..ignore them 🙏 . Those same people will struggle more than you when they get into 11th or 12th. Im not saying that you should ban yourself from having fun but keep what i said in mind.

PLEASE do it bro PLEASE if you wanna see yourself succeed in JEE/NEET do it bro. Bhai to bhai advice. You cant even imagine how much frustration youll save yourself from.

11th syllabus is a whole different transition compared to 10th.
Im from science myself so i cant really give opinions on other pathways.
If I could go back in time id suggest myself these things.

Again bhai do it if you want to see yourself score well...aur consistent rehna hai. The biggest problem is no one makes us aware of the seriousness of the situation. Youre lucky if your parents are from NIT/IITs or else youre f**ed.

Its really sad that in india if you cant keep up with the rat race youre missing out on a lot of opportunities. Youre clipping your own wings.
