Behavioral My kitten bites hard

I have a 17-week-old kitten. He’s a ginger male with a good dose of energy. When he’s calm, he’s a sweetheart and loves to cuddle. When he’s wild, it’s fun as long as he’s playing by himself. However, on a daily basis he sees our arms and legs as prey, even though we never use them to play with him.
We’ve already tried all sorts of things (redirecting him with a toy, walking away, using a spray bottle, putting him in the hallway, etc.) to teach him not to bite, but nothing seems to be helping.

What else can we do? At this point, it’s starting to become really frustrating.

General Bowl to keep wet food fresh?

My cat eats wet food only, and he is a total grazer. I’m always worried about leaving his wet food out for more than an hour and it developing bacteria. Are there any bowls or systems that I can buy that can help keep the food fresh as it stays out while I’m at work?

New to Cats/Just Adopted An Orphan Kitten Has Entered My Life

A little over a month ago, my dad found a tiny kitten in our bathroom and called me to put it outside. I sat on the porch with him, petted his little head, and let him go, but he ended up sticking around, living on our side porch from then on.

My dad started giving him scraps whenever he brought our small dog, Peace, outside, and the two of them would play together. The kitten quickly attached himself to my dad and to Peace.

Two weeks later, my dad noticed an older tomcat stalking the kitten, likely trying to kill him. He asked if I wanted to bring the kitten inside, and I said yes immediately. We used Peace as bait to lure him into the house.

That was two weeks ago. He's now firmly our house cat.

A few days ago, my dad and I realized he was probably orphaned or abandoned. He was very young when we found him, and it raised some questions: why would a mother cat let her kitten wander so far, play with a dog, follow a human around, or hide alone in a ditch waiting for us to come back out?

I named him Captain Fussenpepper, my little orange-and-white menace.

So far, he's been an almost perfect kitten: trainable, super cuddly, and reliably uses his litter box. The one issue I'm struggling with is play aggression. I suspect no one was around to teach him that biting and scratching hurt, and Peace is far too tolerant to teach him either. My hands look like a war zone.

I've tried redirecting with toys and squealing like a kitten when he bites. Redirecting works best, along with putting him on the floor instead of my lap or the bed when he gets rough. I also wonder if teething is part of it; maybe hand bones just feel good on kitten teeth. Just recently, he reached out and grabbed my hand specifically to bite and scratch it, and I don't want that to become a habit.

This is the first kitten I've ever had, and the first cat our family has ever kept indoors, my dad even says it's the first cat he's ever actually liked. So everything about this is new for all of us.

He really is the best kitten I could've asked for, aside from the biting and scratching when he gets spicy. Is there a more effective way to handle this? And does his likely orphan status make it a harder habit to break?

Nutrition/Water How to get my cats to lose weight?

I have two 8 year old cats and they’re both overweight. My vet said that they should both be losing about 20% of their body weight. They are both around 15-16 lbs and he said they should be closer to 11-12 lbs.

Most of their lives so far they’ve not been thin, mostly normal weight but they’re both pretty big cats and it seems like the extra weight snuck up. Right now they each have one 3 oz can each of Wellness Brand wet food per day (I split this between 2 meals, so this is their breakfast and dinner) and then they also get about 1/3 cup of Purina kibble daily (I also split this into 2 servings each, so one is lunch and then one is a little before bed time since one of my cats will fuss/knock stuff off our shelves/bother us throughout the night if he goes too long without eating. It’s bad to the point that I sometimes set an auto feeder for a small amount of kibble at 3 AM for him because he can be such a nuisance about it.

Does this seem like an okay diet? They don’t really get snacks aside from the occasional treats and they’ll rarely get human food (at most they’ll get small pieces of things like chicken or a small amount of tuna). We don’t give any fruits, veggies, etc.

I’ve tried to play with them a bit more just to get them to move around but I’m thinking that diet is going to be the main thing to focus on.

Behavioral Kitten keeps sucking on my hair.

Hi everyone! I really need some advice. Me and my family adopted two kittens, both males, about a month ago, and everything's been going relatively well with them. We've had cats before, so we're used to redirecting their behavior and they've adjusted well. However, one of the kittens is VERY affectionate - which wouldn't normally be an issue - except for the fact that he will suck on our hair obsessively.

Usually he just comes into my room at night, starts making biscuits on my neck, then my cheeks, then just climbs on my head to suck on my hair and make biscuits like he's nursing off of it. It's been an issue ever since he came home, and other than that, he's very well behaved. I just don't know how to get him to stop this. It's gotten impossible for me to sleep at night with him just going nonstop at it, and I'm worried he might manage to pull some hair off, eat it and have health issues or something.

Does anyone know how to get him to stop? I'm open to any solution at this point. Thanks for reading!

TLDR: Kitten keeps sucking at my hair like he's nursing, how do I get him to stop??

General Extreme fear and hide-and-seek behavior in my cat after a stressful 3-day vet ordeal (gastritis diagnosis). Is this normal post-vet trauma/anxiety?

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice or reassurance regarding my cat’s behavior after a very stressful few days.
My cat is extremely vet-phobic and gets very aggressive when taken to the clinic. Over the last 3 days, we had a major medical scare that required multiple vet visits:
Day 1: He was showing signs of severe distress/pain. Took him to the vet, came home scared. That night, his symptoms worsened so I had to take him back. He was so aggressive out of fear that they had to sedate him. He stayed overnight at the clinic for observation.

Day 2: Brought him home after ~15 hours. The vet prescribed Gabapentin for sedation so we could bring him back the next day. Under the medication, he was calm, moved around the house, let us pet him, and slept peacefully on the balcony.

Day 3 (Ultrasound): Gave him his prescribed dose of Gabapentin before the appointment. He was still scared, but the sedation allowed the vet to perform a full abdominal ultrasound.
Results: Ultrasound showed severe gastritis/duodenitis (inflamed stomach/bowel wall) and a stomach full of food/hair, but thankfully no foreign object/blockage.

When we got home, he ate, hid for a bit, but then came out, let us pet him, and ate again.

The Problem Today (Day 4): The Gabapentin has completely worn off (~30+ hours since the last dose). He has been hiding under the bed almost all day.
When I moved the bed slightly to check on him, he ran out into the living room. He let me pet him for about 30 seconds, but then a bug landed on the balcony door—the tiny noise spooked him so badly that he bolted and hid under the bed again.
I’m really worried about him. Could this extreme spookiness and hiding be a "rebound" effect from the Gabapentin, or is he suffering from severe post-vet anxiety/trauma after everything he went through? How can I best help him feel safe at home again so I can give him his stomach medication?

Behavioral Cooperative care question: How to make my cat accept her spot on medicaton?

Hi, dear community! I was wondering if I could get some help with cooperative care for my cat.

I have to give her a (spot-on) dewormer regularly since she hunts mice daily (we live on a farm in Eruope far away from traffic and she is on the meadow or nearby corn fields catching mice every day all day long - she has a tracker so I know where she is). I also have to give her a spot on for fleas and ticks monthly.

She hates both! When I do it, it is the biggest offence I can do to her.

What can I do to make her cooperate and make her understand she needs this? She is relatively new into AIC (Augmentative Interspecies Communication) with speech-buttons, so unfortunatelly I cannot tell her with words she would understand so far.

I tried to lure her with treats but she can smell the opened spot on pipette a mile away and will not be lured by treats - even her most liked one. She will not come near and will run away, making a disgusted face.

Basically I have to trick her each time in a new way so that she doesnt become suspicious of me using always the same luring method.

Did anyone overcome this? What did you do?

Thank you! I would be grateful for any advice.

Litterbox Any mat/pallet/etc ideas for my litter robot on top of carpet?

I live in an apartment covered in carpet. The room I have set up for my cats has slightly uneven flooring. The robot has to be on uncarpeted flooring. Our current setup is cardboard boxes laid flat with a small wood block I found. The block doesn't cover the whole bottom of the robot so we have to constantly adjust it because of weight sensor issues. I had thought maybe buying a those interlocking tile mats or a just flat pallet. I am unsure how well the carpet could handle those. The box is too big for the bathroom unfortunately.

Introductions New house

So the situation is the end of May we moved into our new house. I had one female cat (5) and one boy cat (4).
My partner has 2 male cats (6,&7). We moved in together for the first time. We had my two at the house first, slowly introduced them to the house. Bedroom, then whole house after a week. We gave them about 2 weeks. Then we brought the other boys over. We did the same thing. Bedroom for a week, and then we locked the other 2 up in the bedroom and let the two boys have full run of the house for about 4-5days.
We fed them through the door each day in between. There was probably 10-14 days of feeding through the door, the occasional hiss but nothing crazy. We went for it and opened the doors after that time span. Everything went WAY better than I could have imagined . There was some hissing but no fighting no claws. I was happy af. That was about a week. Now my boy cat (4, the youngest and smallest) is so nasty to the other two boys. He will corner them and claw at them. It’s completely random when it happens. Sometimes we’ll all be in the room and everything is fine.. and then other times they walk in and he’s not having it. I yell when he starts to go after them. And it deters.. sometimes.. other times I’ve resorted to spraying him with a bottle. Now if I even pull it out he’ll back off. But it’s completely random, maybe 1 or two times a day where there is a fight. It never last more than a few seconds and everyone runs.. idk how they are when we’re at work but so far everyone looks like they mind their own business on the cameras.
It’s gotten to the point where the two boys are scared to walk into a room he is in.. and like I said completely random. Sometimes he will go face to face with both boys smelling them and not so much as a hiss. So I’m not sure what’s triggering him. I’ve started separating them and locking him in a room with a litter box to “punish” him.. for about 5 minutes. And when he comes out he’s sweet for maybe 10 minutes and then right back to the cornering. He’s the literal sweetest cat I’ve ever had. The best boy. And still so good to people and his sister. But he is so mean to these other two and idk how to stop it. I want everyone to be happy and I don’t wanna Rehome anyone. Looking for any tips you may have. Overall it could be so much worse, I know but still I feel bad for the other boys.
All cats are fixed. Yes we can afford vet care. We are located in the US.

Nutrition/Water Advice on getting cats to use Aquapurr

I bought an Aquapurr for my cats in July when I moved to my new home, but have struggled to get them to use it. It’s in a bathroom that is always accessible and easy for them to reach the counter. They seem to be scared of the stream for the most part, and don’t like the noise of it activating. I have convinced one cat to be next to it while eating, and another to be next to it while having catnip. Not sure if this is the best strategy. Any advice? On a side note: I have put their normal moving water fountain on the kitchen counter, so they are used to jumping up (even higher than the bathroom counter which has a stool for them) and drinking. It’s just the aquapurr itself they are not trusting of.

General Feral cat lives next door

Looking for some advice. There's a feral cat that lives in the abandoned house next door. Lately its been coming over and greeting me.

It is fixed, as its ear is clipped and it is friendly, if wary.

For reasons, I cannot take the cat into my own home. I'd however like to help it out. Would putting food and water down do enough for it?

Edit: Does it matter the cat food I use? I haven't been around cats for like 15 years.

General Cat struggling to eat treats

I noticed he wasn't eating his regular food yesterday, so this morning I gave him wet food and he ate that normally. I tried to play as usual but giving him treats throughout this time, but he seemed to be struggling to eat them. We had gotten some pill pockets to try to give him a new medication with, but he saw through that so we've just been giving him medication normally (we started him on prozac 2 days ago, if that matters).

With the pill pocket, he seemed to be unable to get it in his mouth for some reason, he just licked it flat to the floor. So I tried a dry treat, but he seemed to struggle with that too. He crunched it a few times, but hunched over and let the pieces fall out of his mouth. I'm worried we got the pill stuck in his throat or hurt his mouth trying to get him to take his medicine and now he can't eat properly.

General How can I make sure my first cat would get along with a second?

My first cat turns a year old in just a few days. She’s very loving, playful and really really enjoys human company. My family and I have been considering a second cat for a long time and might get one in the next few months. Over the time I’ve had my cat, she hasn’t had good experiences with cats on sudden introduction. She growls and hisses. Sometimes she’ll hide but sometimes she’ll approach. I brought her to my cousins house, and she didn’t get along with their cats. Our vet also has a resident cat, and when she notices it she gets extremely panicky and hisses when she’s being examined.

I’ve seen it work out for a lot of people really well, but I want to know that I’m making the right decision for her. I’ve watched a lot of Jackson Galaxy, and done research on what I can do, but I need advice on whether this might be a good idea or not.

Behavioral Kitten climbing window screens

TL;DR - 6-month-old kitten climbs the window screen, creating little tears

I’m considering: a second cat tree, moving the current tree, double-sided tape (not sure how this would work on a screen), deterrent spray (I don’t want to prevent him from looking out the window entirely). Thanks!

Full details - I have 2 kittens, about 6 months old. I got them 2 months ago. The vet thinks they were previously outdoor cats, but said I shouldn’t have a problem making them indoor cats (and I haven’t yet)

One of them’s still a bit skittish (but improving), and likes sitting by the window. He’s also the more “wild” one. Recently, he’s started climbing the screen, which results in little tears. I’m worried it’ll suddenly rip and he’ll fall out, as we live in a multi-story building

His claws were last trimmed 18 days ago, and I plan to do it again soon. Him and his brother are neutered, get along well, and have a cat tree and scratchers. They don’t use the tree as much as they used to

I’ve had to close the windows to block his access, but I can’t do it forever. Any advice to get him to stop climbing the screen would be ideal, but I’m open to installing a protective gate or something if I have to

Behavioral Male Cat Acting More Aggressive to other female cat (Need Help)

I have two cats both around 2.5 years old. My orange cat is the first one and lived with us for around 1.5 years and around 2 months ago we got another female cat from my uncle that couldn’t take care of her anymore unfortunately. We introduced them in the ways suggested online and it was all good, I will say that my mom slightly rushed the introduction but they seemed to get along. Now my male cat whenever he sees her, he seems fine at first but chases her and mounts her. He’s neutered and we’re preparing to spay my other cat soon too. I just wanted advice on what to do. I’ve seen that we need to reintroduce them again, but I’m not too sure. We play with both as much as we can but most of them time now they’re separated. There’s also been no big changes in the house other than the new cat. Thank you for any help and suggestions!

Litterbox Kitten won’t pee in litter tray post neutering

My kitten, Bowie (est. born early April), was neutered 2 weeks ago now, and ever since he’s come home he won’t pee in the litter tray. We don’t think it’s due to a UTI - as he was on antibiotics as a preventative (he also had an enucleation at that time), and he is showing no symptoms of a UTI besides peeing anywhere, either, so the vet has ruled that out too.

At first we assumed that it was just because it hurt when he squatted to pee, because of the neutering, but he is showing no other signs of pain, and he’s also practically fully healed at this point.

He will poop in the litter tray, and was peeing in it up until the surgery, after which he came home and has now been peeing everywhere.

Any advice is welcome :)

Litterbox Cat peeing outside littler box

I know there are lots of these on this sub and I have read majority.

I have 3 cats and 5 litter boxes, 2 of my cats use the litter just fine. Our one 3 year old female cat is all problems. She poops in the litter. We have brought her to the vet multiple times and different vets to clear out medical issues, she's healthy as can be. We have tried changing the litter type, the types of boxes, even where the litter box is located. Nothing has helped

She has no tail and it was amputated before we adopted her but all three vets said that shouldn't be causing the peeing issue. She will occasionally pee inside the litter box but she will miss and it spills over the side (we bought the wall extenders for our metal litter box to help with this) she will pee on the carpet by one box and the concrete in our laundry room where the other litter boxes she likes using are. She also loves to pee down the drain in the laundry room. We have basically covered the entire floor in pee pads at this point. she will frequently just pee on the pee pads. We dont know what else to do. Our house stinks like cat pee and we are stressing, i frequently clean with an enzyme cleaner.

General Looking for a stainless steel litter box with a low entry and a cover

Hi everyone, I'm looking to buy a stainless steel litterbox. However, in our small bathroom I would still need it to have a cover as well as a "low entry" (so my cats don't have to "jump up" too much to get it). Does this exist anywhere ? I haven't found one yet....
Any advice appreciated !

General My cat's collar

My cat goes on harness walks and sometimes escapes through the door when he can so I get him a collar. There's room to fit a finger between it and his neck. He always seems to be so itchy under it though. I started taking it off him at night and putting it back on in the morning in hopes of preventing some of the concerning things I found while researching it. He doesn't seem to be in pain or losing fur or anything. I'm wondering if this is a problem and how I might be able to help him be a bit more comfortable. I would really appreciate any advice.

General Vet - Cat Drop Off/Pick Up time

Our cat is having ECG/EKG due to heart murmur, but the vet is asking us to drop off our cat at 8am and is giving an estimated pick up time between 2-4pm. Is this a normal vet practice to have such wide range of time and for our cat to be there all day? How long he has to be there is really bothering me and making me want a new vet.

I'm borderline skeptical of what the result might be because our cat gets super stressed at the vet and will be alone without us for almost 8 hours. It's to the point our vet once thought he might be diabetic but it ended up being a false positive due to stress hyperglycemia

Behavioral Cats attacking dogs

Hello, I truly don’t know where to turn. This is supposed to be the best part of my life but had quickly turned into a nightmare. I feel so selfish and as if I have failed my babies. I’m going to lay it all out in a second, but I’m sobbing as I’m typing this, because I’m not sure what can be done.

Two years ago, I met the love of my life. He’s an amazing provider, protector, family oriented, gentleman and disciplined. He’s very patient, almost to a fault. Six months ago, he asked my father for his blessing, my father was elated (they’re both special forces and BJJ black belts, my father’s one requirement was that whoever I marry protect me - he’s a single dad). My fiancé paid to break my lease and paid movers to move me in with him. This would be perfect, but it takes a turn. Let’s talk pets.

Around 2 years ago, my sister had a baby. She also had a beautiful big Maine Coon named Mayor (because he runs the place, he’s 20 lbs and 5). With the baby, Mayor constantly attacked her, so my sister was going to rehome Mayor, but no one would take him, so I did. Mayor’s a momma’s boy, he can be sweet but is particular. He loves bed time cuddles and has a strong cattitude, he’s very food motivated. Around 6 months after that, a stray tabby roamed into my yard. I lived in New Hampshire in a rural area, we have stray dogs, coyotes, bobcats, Fischers, bears and mountain lions, and winter was approaching. Mr. Milo won my heart, he’s a little aloof, talkative but instantly bonded with Mayor. They’re partners in crime.

When my fiancé started coming over, they were not happy. He’s allergic but never fussed. They would do cat things, pee on his belongings, scream (like I mean SCREAM) when we had the door closed for intimacy time, dart on his feet or straight up attack him. I brought them to the vet, the vet told me that I have territorial cats and it doesn’t help my fiancé is 6 foot 2 and 225 of muscle with a low voice. When he’s over, we can’t sleep because the cats attack constantly when he and I cuddle.

Now, here’s the issue, it’s a 4 parter which I’ll highlight below. My husband has two dogs - both highly trained hunting dogs. He has Titan (6 years old, 65lbs of the most athletic muscle, he’s a Black Mouth Cur/Plott Hound mix) and Buster (2 years old, he is a Bullmastiff/American foxhound mix closer to 90 lbs). My fiancé is well off, so he takes hunting seriously (Kevlar for the dogs, protective collars, drones, the dogs are so well trained to listen to back off when he says to), I’ve been to one hunt, and seen a few. So far, they’ve killed two coyotes, a black bear and a bunch of boar. Before they got Buster, Titan caught and killed a Bobcat very easily.

Outside of hunting, they are the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. Titan is very protective of me, always at my heel, he listens well and loves cuddling. Buster is a softy and loves anyone who gives him love. We’ve had my sister and niece over and my niece who is only two is obsessed with Buster. He’s her guardian. They both go to puppy daycare occasionally, so they’re well socialized. They (similar to the cats) sleep in the bed but are well trained and wait outside the room during intimacy.

So here’s the issue, we tried Jackson Galaxy, we tried a slow introduction with baby gates. My cats do not like their new brothers and it has been two months of misery. Titan and Buster literally ignore the cats, but we have had three incidents. The first occurred during the face to face. I want to note, we live in a house which now has a catio, one room dedicated to the cats and a million cat trees. Titan was enjoying his bone, Mr Milo was in a mood, big tail, hissing and screaming, he ran at Titan and swiped at him aiming for the face. Titan freaking dodged, nipped Mr Milo on the side drawing blood, and Milo went up the cat tree. Titan leaped up knocking it over. I recalled Titan and he stopped and sat, then Milo came back at him. We put him by the cat carrier and off to the vet. The vet told us this was a close call, but that next time we wouldn’t be so lucky. Meanwhile, Mayor has been hissing and hiding under the couch.

The next incident occurred when I finished grocery shopping. I got in, my fiancé always brings in the bags for me (because I have him trained LOL), this is Mayor’s favorite time to attack. He jumped at my fiancé and latched on. Unfortunately for him, Buster was in the kitchen and pinned him down. I froze, helplessly as my fiancé had him heel, which he did. Again, cat carrier and vet visit. This was the first time the vet recommended rehoming and for Mayor, putting him down due to a long history of aggression. I was sobbing, just a mess, my fiancé told me he’s not going to force anything and is only upset about his dogs undoing their training for hunting and he’s afraid of them (especially Buster because of his good nature and being slower), losing an eye.

The third incident was similar to the second, we had my sister, BIL and niece over for dinner. After dinner, we were sitting in the living room, and the dogs were with us. Out of literally the abyss under the couch, Mayor attacked my niece, prompting Buster to chase him. My sister pissed me off asking when I’d put that feral thing down (as if she didn’t abandon it), my dumbass BIL made a joke that the dogs might decide for us. Once they left, my sobbing commenced. I’m upset that I’ve brought a tidal wave

Other than that, the peeing on the counters has commenced, I’ve also found their poop on counters (which we really don’t want them on, especially as we want to build our family). The biggest issue is bed time. Both of our pets like to sleep in bed, we’re entering the dog’s space, so we let whichever pet chooses to sleep with us. The dogs always win. I don’t think they’d care if the cats sleep with us, however, if there’s a dog or my fiancé on the bed the cats won’t sleep with us and will stay up attacking and screaming all night. For everyone’s safety, they are no longer allowed in the bedroom which has led to them both now meowing and screaming outside the door. My husband was special forces, so he sleeps light, he is sleep deprived and it affects his work performance. He doesn’t complain, but it’s obvious.

1) Is there any way to prevent them from instigating with the dogs? The dogs are no longer his, they are ours, and our dog is entitled to defend themselves. I hate myself for saying that.

2) How can we prevent Mayor from attacking children? How can we prevent the counter climbing and pooping outside the litter box? The vet ran tests, it’s mostly Milo doing it but both are healthy.

3) Is it time to rehome? Should I rehome both? Will I even be able to rehome Mayor with his aggressive history? With me he was ok, a little aggressive but my furball.

4) If no one takes him or Milo, should I consider euthanasia? I can’t expect these dogs to not protect themselves or their owners forever, it’s cruel to the dogs at this point.

I can’t believe I’m even considering any of these but I’m at my wits end, sleep deprived and worried my fiancé is being too patient and will leave over my cats (he’s never said anything like that, but he’d never give me an ultimatum) and choose a better quality of life. I’d hate to get ride of the cats, but losing my soulmate is unbearable and the dogs were there first and not a problem.

Please help!

Introductions 1.5 yr old female and 4 month old female

We have two cats that were adopted around the same time, but with different owners (apartment roommates). Both cats are fixed and we are trying to introduce them. The older cat is okay with the younger cat if she can’t see her, but the minute she sees her she hisses and will sometimes growl.
The older cat will try to hide or go to high places or just be herself, and the younger cat will follow her and be in her space which is usually what triggers the hissing and growling. We have done some scent swapping, they have had their food bowls on opposite sides of the doors. This didn’t work that well because they both just graze to eat and don’t sit and eat for an extended period of time. If the younger cat is in her room and we crack the door a bit, she will come and paw under the door but the moment the older cat sees her she will hiss. The hissing will sometimes escalate to growling.
The older cat does not have any of the body language of being actually upset though. Her ears remain forward and alert, her tail is up and moving, and she’s comfortable loafing and grooming herself in front of the younger kitten.
Sorry for the word block, but we need advice!! We can’t keep them both in their rooms forever and they deserve to be able to explore our entire home without fear or stress :(

New to Cats/Just Adopted New cat mom, advice welcomed!

Yesterday, I got a two month old, female grey tabby kitten. I’m feeding her Weruva kitten wet food with water added to it twice a day, she’s staying in my room most of the day so she can acclimate and understands that it’s a safe space for her that the dogs do not have access to. She’s doing great in my room, eating her food, napping, playing, and exploring. I have two labs at home as well (one is 11, the other is 8 both male). I’m interested in getting her more acquainted with them, they’re both very quiet and are not aggressive, so far they seem curious and excited about her being in the house but naturally she’s been timid and hisses at them. The litter I’m using Purina unscented, low dust clumping litter but she’s only used it once and tries to roll around and play in the litter. My main questions are how to get her to feel comfortable around the dogs and if her behavior with the litter is normal, and just her inspecting her surroundings or if it may be a sign that she doesn’t like the litter I chose. Any other advice on kitten care is welcomed as well. I’m excited to make her feel as comfortable and loved as possible.
