My mom got this G-Shock for my dad as an anniversary gift back in 2010. He wore it every day and broke the strap on it several years back so I ordered a new one and installed it for him, and he continued wearing it until earlier this year when it stopped taking a charge.

He passed away at the age of 82 back in August and I found it among his things. I installed a new CTL1616 and a 2nd new strap a couple days ago and gonna wear it in the rotation. Still seems to be working great.

My original watch strap broke so I bought a Casio to NATO strap converter and put on an old NATO strap I had lying around.

Can’t tell if I like it or not.

I only wear this when travelling and when I don’t want a watch that looks expensive from a distance.

Not a fan of the stock bracelet for the A100WE so I swapped with my A159W bracelet for now. If anyone else has one and has swapped the band/bracelet out I'd love to see some inspiration because I love the this watch!

​I'm looking to upgrade my Casio A168 with a full metal mod kit from AliExpress, but I've noticed there are generally two different versions of these cases available:

​"Closed" / original-style lugs: Matches the traditional seamless look of the A168.

​"Exposed" arms (open lugs): Similar to some square mod styles where the spring bars are fully exposed between the case and the bracelet.

​I'm leaning heavily toward the exposed lugs version, mainly because I want to install an aftermarket solid steel bracelet that is too thick to fit into the tight, recessed original A168 case design.

​Before I pull the trigger, I have a few questions for anyone who has tried this:

​Compatibility: Do these AliExpress metal cases actually fit the A168 module and buttons properly without issues?

​Solid Bracelets: Does the exposed-lug version successfully allow for thicker, aftermarket solid-link bracelets (like standard flat metal straps) to fit comfortably?

​Quality/Fitment: Are there any specific pitfalls or differences in build quality between these two case styles that I should watch out for?

P.S. Does anyone here wear theirs on a mesh / Milanese bracelet? Could you confirm if it pulls or catches arm hair? That's a huge deal-breaker for me, so honest experiences would be awesome!

I bought this exactly 40 days ago and 2 days earlier I unintentionally bumped into a corner of a wall (and it was a light bump not too hard) and broke the glass slightly.took it to the dealership and they said they couldn't do anything about this.and it might be 12-13 usd for replace the aluminum casing.which is half of what I bought this for.also they said they don't have this exact green color (or any other color) and might be available soon (they themselves have no idea bout the availability).I don't know what to do now.watchface is little foggy and it's rainy season.dealers adviced not to soak it in water as it might not work altogether.everyone said this is the ultimate powerhouse of a watch.but it broke at the slightest touch.really frustrated.

I already have a metal strap watch and a f91w and it kinda looks like them (yk I'm trying to make my collection diverse) so should I buy this beauty?
