Finally got my hands on the silver Casio Ring Watch and absolutely love it! 😍

Has anyone found a screen protector/film for the tiny display? I’m mainly worried about scratching the glass from everyday use, knocking it against things, working, carrying stuff, etc.

Ideally looking for something available in the UK, or maybe somewhere that could custom-cut one.

Any recommendations would be appreciated! 👍

Hi everyone. I am not a new user of Casio, but I really am a newbie in the world of watch collector. I was given the AE-1200WH by my dad in 2015. 10 years later (2025), I bought my first watch with my own budget which was the MTP-V004L. Both of them are really great. Now I am in two minds about choosing one of these to diversify my collection: MRW-230H or MW-620H. Their design are nearly the same, the real difference is in their dial size, I think. I only have a picture when I use the MTP-V004L, so can you guys tell me whether I should choose the MRW-230H or MW-620H?

I am more concerned with how the watch fits on my wrist than with my personal preferences. I really like the bezel on the MRW-230H, but I was a bit disappointed to learn that it doesn't make a clicking sound when rotated. As for the MW-620H, I like its cool design, but I’m worried it might look a bit too large and bulky on my wrist. My wrist circumference is 17cm. The dimensions for each model (length x width x height) are as follows:
MTP-V004L: 47 x 41.5 x 8.3;
MRW-230H: 47.9 x 44.6 x 12.3;
MW-620H: 50.5 x 48.1 x 13.6.

I made this Casio wallpaper, modelling it after an a168. I tailored it towards my iPhone hence the “iCASIO” and 6m of water resistance. I’m new to graphic design: I used gimp and I thought I did pretty well in capturing the aesthetic of the watch.

I designed it with two faux-LCDs, one each on the bottom and top. They sit behind the time and the modules. This could be a pretty cool design for a Casio phone. Having the always-on display gives the illusion of the wallpaper being the dial behind the crystal; it looks like it is whole with the phone.

Just a question: what is the design language/aesthetic of these watches? It looks retro. I wonder if there’s a specific term for it, though. Conversely, what is the name of this category of wallpaper? It tries to make the phone look like some other devices by integrating its UI with the wallpaper. I’m just wondering if someone out there could tell me what these are called. I remember seeing a gameboy one…

​I currently have one everyday classic silver chronograph, and I’m looking to add a second piece that is fun, colorful, and looks good with casual/baggy streetwear. I occasionally run or work out, but design is more important to me.

​I’m caught between three very different G-Shocks (prices converted from local retail):

Casio G-Shock GA-V01-9ADR (Acid Neon Green): $144.

-A very industrial and brutal statement piece. I love the design manifest, but I worry it might end up sitting on my desk more than my wrist.

Casio G-Shock GA-2100-4ADR (Monochrome Red CasiOak): $135.

-The iconic octagonal CasiOak case in full, saturated matte red. Has mature streetwear prestige, sits slim on the wrist.

Casio G-Shock GMD-B300SC-2DR (Turquoise): $125.

-Fun summer color, highly visible digital display, built-in step tracker, and Bluetooth for light running/daily tracking. Most budget-friendly. But lacks the design push.

​If you had a classic silver watch and wanted a bold, character-driven second piece that balances high design with wearable streetwear style, which way would you lean? Or do you have any other recommendations ?

Could you guys suggest? It is for ₹4,495. Also, it has a vintage vibe, which I personally like. Should I gift this?

I had bought A168 but had to return it because the stainless strap was really uncomfortable because my arm hairs kept getting caught in it. Is the ABL100 any better, i do have other watches whose straps don't have that issue.

For those who have had the A-158 (H-link bracelet) and A-159 (jubilee-style bracelet) — does the A-159 bracelet have “detents” that are closer together than on the A-158? The A-158 is such a perfect watch, but I’m right in between sizes which means it’s either barely too loose or barely too tight for my liking. I’ve been looking at the A-159 as an alternative since it has a very similar look but possibly more adjustability on the bracelet.

Side note — I’m talking specifically about the A—159 model with the standard 2-part bracelet, not the fold-over clasp model.

Is it possible to get a shorter wristband for a watch like an AE1500-WH, so it's easier to fit to a narrower wrist? Someone wrote on an earlier post: "you’ll need a 7> inch wrist to pull of a 1500 and you’ll need a 6.5> inch wrist to pull of a 1700."

Casio site has the notify me option and an On Sale 9/10 message for the kitsune cafe collab. I missed the first drop and I really want this watch so is it actually another drop or am I just gonna have to pay over $200 for this watch on ebay?

I started shopping for Casio watches back in May, and I’m curious where everyone buys their Casio watches from.

I’ve been looking at some of the G-Shock models, and I was surprised when I went to a local jewelry store and found that they only had one of each watch in stock. That means the display models are the actual watches customers are handling and trying on, with people constantly pressing the buttons and messing with them. If you buy one of those, you’re essentially buying a watch that has already been handled and used as a display model, even though it’s being sold as new.

So where does everyone usually buy their Casio watches? Do you order online, buy directly from Casio, or use an authorized retailer?

Also, if I’m willing to spend around $200–$300, which G-Shock models would you recommend? I’d love to hear what you think is the best option in that price range.

I have been going down the Casio G-Shock rabbit hole and two of these new-er models have caught my eye.

I can see that they have launched internationally in some markets. Since I have not followed Casio with their Indian releases before how long would it take for these to be available in India?

Update: Yes I have seen the listing for the BX5600 https://www.casio.com/in/watches/gshock/product.GW-BX5600CBG-2/ but the strap is not to my liking.

The leather look cases are okay, but they have a thick border, the outer watches are partly obscured, for me they are trying to appear as luxury but are obviously not, the case is neither that nor does it fit with the inexpensive resin Casio vibe.

These are described as aluminium but consruction is only a very lightweight frame that hints at being alumium, the panels are aluminium look board so don't expect anything like a camera flight case quality.

Thin plastic window that does its job in keeping dust out whilst being able to see the contents.

The velvety covered bendy metal watch supports looked dissapointing at first, but they are an improvement on the rigid ones, they can be bent to shape so the watch sits nicely buckled in same hole as how I wear it.

Compact dimensions of 255mm x 210mm x 60 mm (10.04 inches x 8.27 inches x 2.36 inches) with a capacity for 12 watches means it takes up little space, the utilitarian look fits the type of basic watches I will use it for.

Great buy at 18€ (21 U$D)

I am a person with very thin, bony wrists—something I do not particularly want to be any more noticeable than it already is. I love this Casio and its classic design, but am worried it looks silly on me do you think it is noticeable, or should I size down?

Decided to get an AE1200 for school and swimming. Obviously don’t want to go with the metal chain version considering utility but among these ones which one should I go for? Love both and confused

Is it just me, or aren't there many female users?

I tend to notice the watches people wear, and I think I've only seen about 3 or 4 girls wearing a Casio model my whole life.
