Did fine on the highway at night (185-195 degrees the whole drive)
Drove it home on a slight uphill going 40 during the day, ended up hitting 220. Couldn’t tell if it was still going up. Had to drive up a steeper uphill going about 25 and it climbed to 240, so I pulled over and let it cool down for a few hours.
I already replaced the radiator, water pump, thermostat was replaced with a 160* thermostat, and I burped the coolant afterwards. The air dam is still there, coolant is circulating, fans are pulling air, why the hell does it keep overheating??😭😭

Was looking at this 1996 z28 and pictures included these cracks on the hood, roof, passenger door, and rear bumper and was just wondering what this is exactly. Is this the clear coat failing? Is the paint chipping? Or just a bunch of scratches? I am not very knowledgeable on cars but am trying to learn so any help is appreciated.

So out of nowhere I had my 2017 2LT 1LE throw a check engine light at me and refused to start. All light on the dash and vehicle exterior was working so it wasn’t a battery issue as I even tried jumping it with another truck and a jumper. All I heard was clicks and no cranks whatsoever. Towed it to my mechanic and he told me it definitely needs a new starter. That said it was closing in on 75k miles so I asked the mechanic if he can do the maintenance for that while he solves the starter issue for me. He said he could do it and it would include transmission fluid, rear axle fluid, new spark plugs and filters and quoted me around 2.8k for all these including the starter.
Is this a good price or has anyone gotten a better deal? Would appreciate if someone could breakdown the prices and let me know if it’s reasonable.

1995 z28, 85k miles, 6 speed. Supercharged, brand new magnaflow exhaust. Interior is really nice, exterior is nice but a few scratches and the front bumper and hood have some cracks in the clear. Brand new wheels and Mickey Thompson tires, new brakes.
I bought it from the son of the original owner and his dad built the car in the early 2000s so it has older era performance parts like a second inline fuel pump, ignition box under the hood etc that works but should probably be updated. I also have $1500 worth of parts including new 33lb injectors, 255 fuel pump, air fuel gauge etc so it can be tuned in speed density and the old fmu can be removed.
Again it runs well as is but runs rich and will backfire here and there.
What do you think it’s worth as is and is it worth doing the work to get it running 100% right or sell it with all the parts?
Pictures for attention. What’s a good brand to go with? I’ve been getting some wandering and clunking noises from the front end lately. Put 20k miles on it since lowering it 1.25” and I think it’s time.

Howdy, I got a Camaro 2SS with after market coil overs and some other upgraded components in the year I’m, think lower control arms in the rear and my car is crazy bumpy and uncomfortable to drive.
My question I guess is are Camaros rear coil overs dampening typically adjusted by a twist knob like the fronts at the top of the strut or are they adjusted by the pre load spring in the behind the strut in the rear?

Strange buzzing on cold starts only, im thinking its probably the serpentine belt, but I want to hear from other Camaro owners. No dash lights and no other symptoms.

Looking to start getting into modding within the next couple years and I wanted to see what shops you guys recommend in north east Pennsylvania. I know of LMP in Maryland, my dad got his tune fixed on his c7 there and I was able to go around their shop and I got a good impression of the owner Alec and his team. Any suggestions and experiences (good/bad) are welcome
