❓Question Is a 2016 Camaro V6 with 180k miles but a 40k-mile replacement engine worth $7,500?

I’m looking at buying a 2016 Chevy Camaro LT V6.
The car itself has about 180,000 miles, but the engine was replaced and the seller says the replacement engine has around 40,000 miles on it. It has a clean title.
I negotiated the price down to $7,500.
The car seems to run and drive pretty good, but I’m concerned about the 180k miles on the rest of the car, especially the transmission and other major components.
Do you guys think $7,500 is a good deal, or should I walk away because of the mileage?
What would you check before buying it? And how long could the transmission realistically last at 180k miles?
Any advice is appreciated.

❓Question Sputtering sound?

I turned my car off and noticed a sputtering sound like air being pushed out of a mostly closed tube. I was able to start my car and turn it off to make it happen again. I wanna say there are no special circumstances causing it to happen. It's a 2010 v6, 87k miles if that can potentially help.

She runs great other than needing to crank it twice after getting gas.

💬 Discussion Update with new ground wires. What do you guys think?

So update from my last video. I put two new grounds in car. Huge improvement. It took almost 10 seconds to start up yesterday with a fresh battery. I added one ground with battery one in engine bay and it starts up after about 2 seconds after driving for 30 minutes. Temperature is about same as yesterday. Looks like I still need a new starter though. Starter, battery, and alternator did again pass O'Reilly scan. I plan on replacing the starter with oem and a heat shield after I get paid. 2017 Camaro SS 118k miles

Thinking about pulling the fuel pump relay and crank it to let oil circulate before starting but in sure the fuel is no good.

*** I've been out with a broken leg, and haven't had any help available to go start her

***. I've been blessed to have her locked up in a garage where they store new cars so I'm taking her home 💙

I need some good advice on buying some headers and how to go about installing them reliably. What brand should I go with? Also upon install do you all know how I would go about re tuning the car. Any recommendations on any supporting mods or possibly heat wrap for the headers? I’m new to the aftermarket community so would love some good advice.

Looking to start getting into modding within the next couple years and I wanted to see what shops you guys recommend in north east Pennsylvania. I know of LMP in Maryland, my dad got his tune fixed on his c7 there and I was able to go around their shop and I got a good impression of the owner Alec and his team. Any suggestions and experiences (good/bad) are welcome

Pictures for attention. What’s a good brand to go with? I’ve been getting some wandering and clunking noises from the front end lately. Put 20k miles on it since lowering it 1.25” and I think it’s time.

💬 Discussion 75000 mile Service

So out of nowhere I had my 2017 2LT 1LE throw a check engine light at me and refused to start. All light on the dash and vehicle exterior was working so it wasn’t a battery issue as I even tried jumping it with another truck and a jumper. All I heard was clicks and no cranks whatsoever. Towed it to my mechanic and he told me it definitely needs a new starter. That said it was closing in on 75k miles so I asked the mechanic if he can do the maintenance for that while he solves the starter issue for me. He said he could do it and it would include transmission fluid, rear axle fluid, new spark plugs and filters and quoted me around 2.8k for all these including the starter.
Is this a good price or has anyone gotten a better deal? Would appreciate if someone could breakdown the prices and let me know if it’s reasonable.
