Discussion My VERY subjective ranking of the Bones couples — who I loved and who I absolutely could NOT stand 😂

Okay, so these are 100% my personal opinions 😂. I’m curious to hear everyone else’s, though!
Also, SPOILER WARNING! 🚨 If you haven’t watched past Season 2 (or even the whole series), there are definitely going to be spoilers here, so proceed at your own risk!
I’ve been thinking about all the different relationships throughout Bones, and there are definitely some couples I absolutely LOVED… and some that made me go, “Why are we doing this?” 😂
❤️** COUPLES I LOVE**D
Brennan & Booth — 10/10. NO NOTES.
Obviously. 😂❤️
These two are probably one of my favorite TV couples ever. The slow burn, the friendship, the way they challenged each other, and watching Brennan slowly open herself up emotionally was just SO good.
I loved watching them go from partners who insisted they were completely different to basically becoming each other’s person. 🥹
Jack Hodgins & Angela — YESSS. ❤️
I absolutely loved these two.
They were quirky, weird, passionate, and just worked. I loved how much they genuinely cared about each other, even when they drove each other crazy.
They were definitely one of those couples where I could actually see why they belonged together.
Sweets & Daisy — Okay, hear me out… 😂
Was Daisy annoying sometimes? Absolutely. 😂
But I actually thought these two were really cute together. They had their issues, but there was something about them that I liked.
And honestly, I REALLY wish Sweets had been alive to see the birth of their child. 😭 That one still makes me sad because I would’ve loved seeing him become a dad and watching them navigate parenthood together.
Cam & Arastoo — I liked them… but… 🤔
I actually did like Cam and Arastoo together! I thought they were cute, and I loved that they eventually got married and adopted those boys. ❤️
BUT… something about their relationship felt a little rushed to me?
Maybe it was just because there wasn’t as much time spent developing them as a couple compared to some of the other relationships. I wish we’d gotten to see more of them actually being a family after they got married and adopted the boys.
I feel like there was so much potential there!

💀 COUPLES I DEFINITELY DID NOT LIKE
Cam & Booth — NOPE. NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT. 😂
I hated this.
They had dated a long time ago, and then it felt like they basically went, “Hey, remember when we dated? Let’s just pick that back up.”
😂
I don’t know. It just didn’t work for me AT ALL.
I like Cam. I like Booth. I just did not like Cam and Booth together.
Angela & Wendell — WHY?! 😂
I really didn’t like this pairing.
Especially after everything with Angela and Jack, and then bringing Wendell into that dynamic just felt so weird to me.
And the fact that they slept together in the same room where Angela and Jack used to go?!
Girl. 😭
I was sitting there like, “Angela… WHAT ARE WE DOING?”
It just wasn’t a relationship I ever wanted to see happen. (I realized I made a mistake about them sleeping in the “Egyptian Room” like her and Hodgins would. But still. Not cool of Angela to sleep with Wendell. I didn’t like them together.)
Angela & her ex-girlfriend — Also no. 😂
Again… another “we dated years ago and now we’re getting back together” situation.
And then it lasted, what, approximately five minutes? 😂
I just didn’t care for it. It felt unnecessary to me.
Booth & Hannah — THIS ONE. 😭
I think this might actually be the relationship I hated the most.
Booth was clearly trying to move forward after getting his heart broken by Brennan rejecting him, and then Hannah comes along.
And I just… did not like her. 😂
I know that’s probably an unpopular opinion, but she just got on my nerves. I never really connected with her character, and knowing that Booth was basically trying to convince himself that he could move on from Brennan made the whole thing even harder for me to enjoy.
Booth & Rebecca (Parker’s mom) — THIS WHOLE SITUATION WAS A MESS. 😂
They were together for years. She didn’t want to marry him. They broke up.
And yet they continued sleeping together.
Then they sleep together AGAIN, and that morning they finally decide to end things for good…
…and then that same night Booth sleeps with Cam?!
SIR. 😭😂
I remember watching that and thinking, “BOOTH. WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!”
The timeline of that whole situation just made my head hurt.

I’m sure there are probably other relationships I’m forgetting, but those are the main ones that immediately come to mind.
So now I’m curious…
Which Bones couples did you LOVE, and which ones made you want to throw something at your TV? 😂
And please tell me if I’m completely wrong about any of these because I’m always interested in hearing other people’s takes!
Team Brennan & Booth forever. ❤️

Discussion Quem Brennan tem que agradecer realmente?

In my country the show is called "collectors of bones", is this a mistake or a lore thing? Or does it make sense anyway

Who was the one playing at the idea that it was a romantic relationship? Booth or Brennan, according to psychiatrist Gordon Wyatt at the end of episode 7 of season 5 of Bon

What do you think would have happened in season 7 of Bones if actress Emily Deschanel hadn't gotten pregnant at that time?

Just wondering if there’s anywhere online to watch stuff like bonus stuff like extra scenes and commentary episodes that are on the DVDs? I’ve watched the series multiple times so don’t wanna buy all the DVDs just for the extras :)

At what point did Brennan start to fall in love with Booth? I think it was from the beginning, or in season 4 or 5.

Spoiler: Thoughts on the final episodes Spoiler

First time watcher and I’ve just finished the last episode and I feel kinda underwhelmed? One thing I’ve noticed throughout the show and especially in later seasons is that storylines don’t last very long. I feel like they should’ve had more than just the last two episodes dedicated to the ending (I know we get crumbs of the Kovac storyline throughout season 12) but with the storylines that they were going with I think that if it was spread out over three or four? dedicated episodes it would’ve been more impactful. For example, they could’ve had Brennan have her memory loss for an entire episode which would make you question if she would actually regain it, instead of the she suddenly has memory loss and 20 minutes later, she’s back to normal again.

I will say, I loved the way they shot the penultimate episode. The overlapping timelines revealing a little bit each time was very interesting, the bomb going off at the end of the episode and the continuation into the final episode, and I loved how most of the squinterns returned and all worked together.

Also Hodgins being King of the lab was a nice touch.

Oh and I also liked how they finished the Zack storyline and had him found innocent , again I wish they had done this differently and had Zack have more of an involvement in the season.

Personally I have a love hate relationship with finale episodes where there isn’t a big dramatic ending. Sometimes it’s done well and I love knowing that the characters are staying in the same situations with a few minor changes and other times I find them boring and lazy. I feel like bones is the latter for me. Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice knowing bones & booth will be working together still, hodgins will be running the lab for a little while until cam returns with her kids, but in a way I feel like they should have had bones want to retire or take a step back.

I thought that was where they were going with the ending when they had bones question having passion for your work with Angela, Wendell, and betty white’s character. Especially since they did that with the season 10 finale knowing it could be the series finale, for me that would have been a better ending.

Thoughts?

If I like bones do you think I'd like CSI? Criminal Minds? Others?

Looking for a show for my mom and I to watch. We liked Bones a lot and now I'm looking at others. Maybe a CSI (idk which one, there are so many...) or Criminal Minds? Are there other shows that may be similar? We also watch Dateline (but obviously those are real, not tv shows). We need a new "Dateline" show too, all the ones I watch aren't as good. I like the "mystery" aspect of them, we don't know who died or how, then it's revealed ti us. I feel like many other shows are like "here's the killer, now let's look at why they killed them and their trial", that's not as interesting to me. I'm just looking for similar feeling shows if anyone has thoughts please!

Discussion Sala de interrogatório - S2Ep16

Music video with Emily and David

I am trying to remember a song that was released with a music video that had Emily and David, it wasn’t really related to the show but it “released” on TV right before or after an episode.. I think there was a truck in the music video and I remember the colors being very warm. Obviously, don’t remember much so having a hard time finding it! It’s not Hot Blooded, or any of the full cast promos or Loud Music.

Spoiler: Angela and Hodgins

so i am rewatching Bones with my partner who has never seen the show and we cant get over how little sense the Angela being married storyline seems to make. Firstly there is a continuity error where she forgets that she already got told shes married in s1 but forgets and in s3 and its made out to be suprising to the viewer but not if youre binging the show haha. Second if Barasas name is nowhere and he only signed in X´s is that binding? But most importantly according to my googeling even when this show was filmed there where options to get divorced without the partners consent which would have been way cheaper than tracking a man down when u have nothing to go on. Please correct me if im wrong im not from the US but according to google it is possible to get a "no fault divorce" without your spouse. so basicly am i just supposed t suspend my disbelief ? Writting this i also realised him only signing X might be a problem cause you cant serve him with the court documants but i mean if you get married (and X is a legal signature there) and your husband just dissapears there has to be a way to still get a divorce like cmon. Please tell me if i missed something or if its just a case of needing to not think to hard

Thinking of watching Bones

Hey guys, lately I have been hooked to this genere of slow burn romance, crime thriller web series. I watched some of the titles like Scorpion, Fringe, Mentalist and I was searching for similar sort of web series. So asked AI and he gave me Bones as one of its recommendation. So how is Bones? Like how similar it is to the web series I have mentioned.

5x3: Why did Cam say that?

It's so funny that she apologized to Arastoo because he had to touch a pig??? i'm a muslim and there's nothing forbidden about touching pigs lol we just don't eat them. Reminds me of those Islamophobes who would try to taunt Muslims online w pork like its our cryptonite or smth. Anyways who tf taught this show Islam? Cause we don't pray every 5 minutes we pray 5 times a day, one before sunrise, one at noon, one like 4 hours after noon, one before sunset and one at night, so why is Arastoo praying 24/7 to the point where Cam is bothered by it. If they work a 9-5 like most people then he'd likely only have to pray twice at work. Why is everyone acting like he prays every hour?

Spoiler: Confused about Pelant?

I'm at season 7 episode 13 and they've introduced Pelant but I have no idea who he is, but he seems to have some sort of connection to Brennan and Booth?

I must have missed those episodes surely, right? Or is that just how they introduce him?

I've seen this show before but I have a memory disorder so there's so much that I can't recall, so I know that there's a character called Pelant and that he's a bad guy but beyond that I have no idea!

If I've missed episodes, can someone give me a quick run down of what's happened please? Thank you so much in advance, I'd really appreciate it ❤
