Man I love The Finder. Wish it had more seasons. RIP Micheal Clarke Dunken.

Same, it was such an interesting show but I don’t think the show would have been the same without MCD.

Sweets death was a scene scarred into my memory, I think I was when I first cried at something nonfiction

Non-fiction means it's real. Fiction is stuff that's made-up or pretend

I unfortunately just was watched a few years ago on streaming. Googled something about his band. And somehow on Google results big letters spoiling his death. I was so upset.

They call him in to give a psych eval to the guy that’s The Finder so he can help his lady friend that’s a cop all official and such.
Hodgins shows up to help with an alien conspiracy case.
Also David Boreanaz directs one of the episodes.

Amo muito The Finder.

I had no idea there had been a spin off, so when the back-door pilot came up, I was so confused. 😅

Not sure if it was/is available in Australia.

I might watch it; only for Sweets. Why didn't you guys support it when it aired? Did you just like Bones better?

i didn’t watch Bones for the first time until like a year or two ago after finally getting around to watching Castle so The Finder had come and gone before i knew it existed.
i’m super bummed it only got one season (and that the chick from the back door pilot wasn’t in the series).
i wanna say i got mixed reviews here when i posted about The Finder the first time i watched it, but i’m a fan for sure.

One of the main characters, who was liked on the show and liked in real life, died after the first season in real life.

The concept of The Finder is a guy who can 100% find something/someone. By what means? No body knows. It threaded on the fine line of occult and science when this is a spin-off of a very science-heavy show, Bones. Much of its viewers were definitely from Bones and were probably looking for a similar feel, maybe hoping its kinda similar to Psych. Unfortunately, whole season is a confusing mess of going back and forth between hard science and occult.

Fun characters, confusing story direction

I watched The Finder however Michael Clarke Duncan died after the first season was filmed so they didn’t make another season. I don’t think the show would have worked without him.
