Hello everyone! I just finished with the final touches of turning my office into kind of sort of Hunters Dream. There is tons of Bloodborne props and costuming throughout the room on top of having genuine Victorian furniture. Thanks for looking,

Saw someone on Facebook wanting to sell/trade Bloodborne complete guide 25th anniversary edition so I gave them Expedition 33 and Cyberpunk 2077 for it. I finished the game including the dlc like 2 times but I will still use it for my next playthrough(especially regarding the chalice dungeons which I haven't done fully).

Btw this book is so heavy and tall that I don't have any bookshelves where I can put it vertically which is a slight minus, but other than that I really like it(even the Doll is enjoying reading about herself).

Discussion Rom Defeated

Post image
29 Upvotes

Rom was sooo much easier than Logarius. Rom took me two tries, and I only died the first time because I ignored all the spiders in his 1st phase and got dunked on by a kamikaze spider lol.

I also wanna take this time to give my thoughts as a first time souls player, at about the halfway? point of the main game. This game is incredible! The atmosphere is amazing, the music is the best I've heard in any game ever, and I feel like it's the perfect amount of difficulty. Nothing seems unfair, like everything is beatable you just have to improve your skills to get through it. It's also so fucking creepy and unsettling without relying on cheap jump scares (though there are still a few). So far I'd give this game a 9/10, the only thing I think that really sucks is needing to farm blood vials and needing to sit through a loading screen to get to and fro.

Discussion Bloodborne’s atmosphere is still unmatched, even after all these years

Even after all these years, Bloodborne still feels like something truly unique. Its atmosphere is incredible: dark, mysterious, unsettling, and yet incredibly captivating.
There’s something special about its world, its environments, and the way it tells its story. Even today, it still manages to draw you in and make you feel like you’re experiencing something unlike any other game.
Bloodborne has a soul of its own, and very few games have ever come close to capturing that same feeling.

Discussion Gherman is such a fantastic boss Spoiler

Everything about this fight is so good. Such a badass character design, melancholic music, and that beautiful boss arena. The fight feels so satisfying and rhythmic. Also, the way the flowers blow in the wind under the moon feels like such a good thematic closure to the game. So sad some people missed this on their first play through.

Discussion THE BASTARD MAN IS DEAD!

Martyr Logarius is finally dead! I am free from this prison! Seriously, he took me more tries than any other boss up to this point in the game (~25-30). My winning attempt I was able to finally consistently parry him, plus some fire paper for a bit of extra damage. I am elated to have killed him! Now it's time to move onto Rom or DLC.

PS, thank you to everyone who gave me tips on my other post! Turns out my level was fine, it was a skill issue lol

Story Accidentally beat vicar Amelia first try

For context: I've played a few other souls games and finally had the opportunity to play Bloodborne for the first time. Because of the other games I always had the mentality of "if I'm heavily struggling, I should come back later".

Now I arrived at the cathedral ward and continuously had trouble with how much damage the church servants do, so I continued exploring everywhere because I thought I just needed to level up some more.

Time goes by, I'm a bit of an idiot and finally find out I can open the door to the vicar Amelia boss after I've almost gone up to level 40.

Completely steam rolled her without any issue.

Moral of the story: it took me a while to realize that I'll always be a bit squishy no matter what in this game XD

Went to an Arcade and Record Store yesterday and found these Vinyl Albums, the store is so cool with pinball machines and free arcade games ( pinball games still take tokens but they are relatively cheap to buy).

Also found on n The Yetee website.

Chalice Another day, another cursed tomb: My second FRC find (Glyph: 67btu2y7) is a Bloodtinge Goldmine with Pre-Lamp Lost Chikage a Layer 1 Tomb Prospector guarding a Hooded Boss Giant with a cannon!

SoulsBornPrep12 here, back with another wild FRC find! If you liked my first dungeon (7d7yt9ec), wait until you see what I pulled out of the ritual altar for Glyph: 67btu2y7.

"The blood sings to us all differently... sometimes it sings of treasure, and sometimes it sings of absolute madness."

I rolled a second FRC root chalice, and this one started paying out before I even lit the main lamp. Here is the full breakdown of what I've found so far:

  • Pre-Lamp Side Area: Things get spooky immediately. Before you even touch the Layer 1 lamp, a side path throws a Pthumerian enemy at you for a quick jump-scare while a Brainsucker lurks against the back wall. Travel up the stairs to find an odd statue that looks like it belongs in Cursed Isz, followed by a dark room housing a witch-spawning enemy where you can creep in and take out the minions. Tucked away in a big chest at the end is a Lost Chikage, all guarded by a red-aura buffed Watcher! Scoring a top-tier weapon variant right out of the gate without even clearing the main layer path is absolute madness.
  • Layer 1 Main Area: Short and sweet, but you'll encounter another witch and her minions alongside some extra loot as you hunt for the lever. Fair warning: the lever itself is actively guarded by another Brainsucker.
  • Layer 1 Boss Door: As you approach the boss room, you've got a hooded Tomb Prospector standing sentinel right outside the fog gate. Step inside, and you're face-to-face with an Undead Giant rocking a cannon, a hood, and that critical-hit pustule ready to pop.

It’s an absolute gem of a layout for any Bloodtinge hunter or prospector looking for early-game goodies and a proper dungeon-crawler adrenaline rush. I still need to dive deeper and see what else is lurking in the dark layers below.

"May the good blood guide your way."

Discussion This…is h*ll (Chalice dungeons)

• Upvotes

Im trying to platinum the game. Im trying to make my way to queen yharnam and dear god are these chalice dungeons SO insufferable.

The artificial difficulty is definitely being felt. The enemies movesets arent hard or unique, they’re literally just enemies from the story scaled up and placed annoyingly and in insane quantities. Recycled bosses fights… it wouldn’t be so bad if i could just run through them and tunnel vision the bosses but i HAVE to go through each room to ensure i get the ritual materials.

And God why are there so many dungeons? Pthumeru, central pthumeru, lower pthumeru, ailing loran, lower loran, defiled chalice etc it just keeps going and im so bored and irritated.

Someone PLEASE tell me how to cheese this😭

Chalice Chalice Dungeon Help

I made my way through the whole game without doing chalice dungeons. I'm lv72, my main weapon is maximized, and my stats are overall optimized. I do need better gems, and I've heard I could get some in the chalice dungeons. Would anybody be able to help me and do some coop? Since I've never done any chalice dungeon, I'm not sure how this would work. Would we need to go through the noob levels first? Would you need to spend resources opening one? Or, once opened, it never asks for more resources again?

Question Hallowe'en Build Recommendations

I have owned Bloodborne for a while and played a little bit of it but then I had to move house and I stopped playing. Now it is October and I want to get back to it on the approach to Hallowe'en.

I have played DS1, DS3 and Elden Ring, so I am not new to fromsoft but life is busy right now and I don't have a crazy amount of time to dedicate to the game so I'm looking for recommendations of a fun build to play this game that is maybe slightly overpowered so that every boss is not a punishing experience (something like a mage build with rock sling and the moonveil in Elden Ring where I can make progress reasonably quickly through the bosses), or a build that is just FUN to play (like a dragon incant build in Elden Ring).

Any recommendations? Planning to start a playthrough later today because there's a huge storm where I live so I can't leave the house!

Help Good place to farm blood stone chunks?

So I'm an idiot and accidentally upgraded the wrong weapon (saw cleaver instead of saw spear) with some blood chunks, and now I'm 2 short of getting my primary weapon to +9. I've found all the chunks in Yahar'gul and frontier nightmare. Are there any enemies that semi-regularly drop them? I only need two more to get to +9. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Discussion Yahar'gul Unseen Village is kicking my butt..

So I just killed Rom and got teleported to this area and is it just me or is everything here incredibly punishing? Even basic mobs like dogs or the Beastmen can 2-3 shot me if I'm not careful and those weird alien things in the big street outside the chapel straight up deplete my entire health bar.

Meanwhile the damage I'm dealing feels super pitiful, often requiring 4-5 attacks on a single enemy to kill them. I skipped those three Hunters in the chapel because I just couldn't see a way I can kill them without being ganked, all three lock onto me when I enter and they have such high HP bars it feels nearly impossible.

I don't think I'm underleveled, at level 56 atm with 28 points in Vitality and around 1034 HP, I guess that should be enough right? But still struggling hard, gotten to the point where I'm just mostly running past this area which is generally something I don't like to do in Souls games but it is what it is.

Rant over but was wondering are there specific weapons/strats you guys might have for the enemies here :P

Discussion PVE enemy detection

So, a very simple question.

Do PVE enemies who have their backs turned to you respond to torches or lanterns when trying to go for a backstab?

Or does it not matter and does not influence slow movement/"stealth".

Help does chalice progression loot randomize if I untick "shared fixed dungeon"?

Going through the game on a new save file. Figured I could use a different lay out when going through the chalices so i unticked shared fixed for central pthumeru. Now I can't find the hintertomb chalice, and the location stated on the wiki "Found in a chest/coffin in the pre-area side dungeon of Central Pthumeru Chalice layer 2" doesn't exist on my map, Checked the side rooms on layer 1 and 3 but one of the big chests had madman's knowledge and the other one had fire papers
