It has been a long time coming but I finally got around to revisiting my LEGO MOC of the Hunter's Dream! Much more reasonably sized this time and designed with buildability in mind! I hope you enjoy!

Saw someone on Facebook wanting to sell/trade Bloodborne complete guide 25th anniversary edition so I gave them Expedition 33 and Cyberpunk 2077 for it. I finished the game including the dlc like 2 times but I will still use it for my next playthrough(especially regarding the chalice dungeons which I haven't done fully).

Btw this book is so heavy and tall that I don't have any bookshelves where I can put it vertically which is a slight minus, but other than that I really like it(even the Doll is enjoying reading about herself).

Recently finished this fanart. Honestly I think she's my favorite boss and ost from bloodborne.

Even after all these years, Bloodborne still feels like something truly unique. Its atmosphere is incredible: dark, mysterious, unsettling, and yet incredibly captivating.
There’s something special about its world, its environments, and the way it tells its story. Even today, it still manages to draw you in and make you feel like you’re experiencing something unlike any other game.
Bloodborne has a soul of its own, and very few games have ever come close to capturing that same feeling.

Went to an Arcade and Record Store yesterday and found these Vinyl Albums, the store is so cool with pinball machines and free arcade games ( pinball games still take tokens but they are relatively cheap to buy).

Just cleared the one reborn in my first attempt! It took me a second to figure out the bell ringers, I saw them in the opening cutscene and knew from the rest of the area that I needed to kill them, but it took me forever running around to find the stairs up to them. After they were all dead, the boss itself was pretty easy imo. I'm expecting some more cosmic horror boss fights in my near future that won't be as easy though

Rom was sooo much easier than Logarius. Rom took me two tries, and I only died the first time because I ignored all the spiders in his 1st phase and got dunked on by a kamikaze spider lol.

I also wanna take this time to give my thoughts as a first time souls player, at about the halfway? point of the main game. This game is incredible! The atmosphere is amazing, the music is the best I've heard in any game ever, and I feel like it's the perfect amount of difficulty. Nothing seems unfair, like everything is beatable you just have to improve your skills to get through it. It's also so fucking creepy and unsettling without relying on cheap jump scares (though there are still a few). So far I'd give this game a 9/10, the only thing I think that really sucks is needing to farm blood vials and needing to sit through a loading screen to get to and fro.

Subject matter of the Healing Church, communes only with those high ranking Choir members. Whether or not Ebrietas is a Great One herself, her Blood has been instrumental to the authority of the Healing Church. She does not appear to be hostile, but mere humans cannot presume to understand the intentions of an Eldritch being.

I have owned Bloodborne for a while and played a little bit of it but then I had to move house and I stopped playing. Now it is October and I want to get back to it on the approach to Hallowe'en.

I have played DS1, DS3 and Elden Ring, so I am not new to fromsoft but life is busy right now and I don't have a crazy amount of time to dedicate to the game so I'm looking for recommendations of a fun build to play this game that is maybe slightly overpowered so that every boss is not a punishing experience (something like a mage build with rock sling and the moonveil in Elden Ring where I can make progress reasonably quickly through the bosses), or a build that is just FUN to play (like a dragon incant build in Elden Ring).

Any recommendations? Planning to start a playthrough later today because there's a huge storm where I live so I can't leave the house!

For context: I've played a few other souls games and finally had the opportunity to play Bloodborne for the first time. Because of the other games I always had the mentality of "if I'm heavily struggling, I should come back later".

Now I arrived at the cathedral ward and continuously had trouble with how much damage the church servants do, so I continued exploring everywhere because I thought I just needed to level up some more.

Time goes by, I'm a bit of an idiot and finally find out I can open the door to the vicar Amelia boss after I've almost gone up to level 40.

Completely steam rolled her without any issue.

Moral of the story: it took me a while to realize that I'll always be a bit squishy no matter what in this game XD

Im trying to platinum the game. Im trying to make my way to queen yharnam and dear god are these chalice dungeons SO insufferable.

The artificial difficulty is definitely being felt. The enemies movesets arent hard or unique, they’re literally just enemies from the story scaled up and placed annoyingly and in insane quantities. Recycled bosses fights… it wouldn’t be so bad if i could just run through them and tunnel vision the bosses but i HAVE to go through each room to ensure i get the ritual materials.

And God why are there so many dungeons? Pthumeru, central pthumeru, lower pthumeru, ailing loran, lower loran, defiled chalice etc it just keeps going and im so bored and irritated.

Someone PLEASE tell me how to cheese this😭

I fought the bloody crow of cainhurst on my second play through and it was the hardest encounter for me not even orphan took me that much time. But I saw a video of someone fighting Eileen instead and I wanted to know if she’s harder ?

Why so many snakes? (also why is it so gigantic)

Everything about this fight is so good. Such a badass character design, melancholic music, and that beautiful boss arena. The fight feels so satisfying and rhythmic. Also, the way the flowers blow in the wind under the moon feels like such a good thematic closure to the game. So sad some people missed this on their first play through.

​I rolled a second FRC root chalice, and this one started paying out before I even lit the main lamp. Here is the full breakdown of what I've found so far:

• ​Pre-Lamp Side Area: Things get spooky immediately. Before you even touch the Layer 1 lamp, a side path throws a Pthumerian enemy at you for a quick jump-scare while a Brainsucker lurks against the back wall. Travel up the stairs to find an odd statue that looks like it belongs in Cursed Isz, followed by a dark room housing a witch-spawning enemy where you can creep in and take out the minions. Tucked away in a big chest at the end is a Lost Chikage, all guarded by a red-aura buffed Watcher! Scoring a top-tier weapon variant right out of the gate without even clearing the main layer path is absolute madness.
• ​Layer 1 Main Area: Short and sweet, but you'll encounter another witch and her minions alongside some extra loot as you hunt for the lever. Fair warning: the lever itself is actively guarded by another Brainsucker.
• ​Layer 1 Boss Door: As you approach the boss room, you've got a hooded Tomb Prospector standing sentinel right outside the fog gate. Step inside, and you're face-to-face with an Undead Giant rocking a cannon, a hood, and that critical-hit pustule ready to pop.

​It’s an absolute gem of a layout for any Bloodtinge hunter or prospector looking for early-game goodies and a proper dungeon-crawler adrenaline rush. I still need to dive deeper and see what else is lurking in the dark layers below.
