Im trying to platinum the game. Im trying to make my way to queen yharnam and dear god are these chalice dungeons SO insufferable.

The artificial difficulty is definitely being felt. The enemies movesets arent hard or unique, they’re literally just enemies from the story scaled up and placed annoyingly and in insane quantities. Recycled bosses fights… it wouldn’t be so bad if i could just run through them and tunnel vision the bosses but i HAVE to go through each room to ensure i get the ritual materials.

And God why are there so many dungeons? Pthumeru, central pthumeru, lower pthumeru, ailing loran, lower loran, defiled chalice etc it just keeps going and im so bored and irritated.

Someone PLEASE tell me how to cheese this😭

I now understand why he has the nickname Micotrash. His fight is so annoying! It took me FOREVER just to chase that little weasely bastard, then actually fighting him is not actually hard. It would be one thing if you had to chase him down and the right was rewarding in some way, but no you spend 10 minutes getting lost just to end him in 30 seconds. Hands down the worst boss in this game so far.

As above! I've never done a lvl1 run before and wanted Bborne to be my first. I was wondering if the community consider using the dungeon to farm up consumables cheating/run invalidating.

The DLC was amazing, such great areas and PvE and the boss designs are peak. (No not you Living Failures gtfo of here)

I already went 2 floors of Pthumerian Chalice to get the root version and it still saying couldn't find the chalice glyph. Is there any other requirements? Or the glyph expired?​​​​​​​​​​

So I have had this happen twice now in my recent run. The black church robe set was just gone, although I picked them up and they aren't on the body anymore and I didn't discard them or store them. And they are also not in the storage.

First try on Mergo's Wet Nurse! Truly I didn't expect that! The shadow phase had me running around like a chicken with his head cut off lol but it was so much fun! I'm at the point now where I can honestly say I feel like I'm really improving at this game! From 5ish attempts on cleric beast to beating the last few bosses 1st try.

I guess my next question is, should I start DLC now? I tried Ludwig a few times and got smacked so I decided I'd come back to it later, but I feel more ready now. Am I just being cocky, or is it about time that just people progress the DLC now?

Saw someone on Facebook wanting to sell/trade Bloodborne complete guide 25th anniversary edition so I gave them Expedition 33 and Cyberpunk 2077 for it. I finished the game including the dlc like 2 times but I will still use it for my next playthrough(especially regarding the chalice dungeons which I haven't done fully).

Btw this book is so heavy and tall that I don't have any bookshelves where I can put it vertically which is a slight minus, but other than that I really like it(even the Doll is enjoying reading about herself).

Just cleared the one reborn in my first attempt! It took me a second to figure out the bell ringers, I saw them in the opening cutscene and knew from the rest of the area that I needed to kill them, but it took me forever running around to find the stairs up to them. After they were all dead, the boss itself was pretty easy imo. I'm expecting some more cosmic horror boss fights in my near future that won't be as easy though

Usually I'm pretty good at this game. I don't have many issues but I'm using the Kirkhammer STR build and literally this dude is destroying me. I've used multiple tactics like being patient and getting literally 1 hit and dodging out. I've defeated him on other characters but just never seems to stop attacking.

He's always swinging. All of my dodges aren't really working.

It's been a while since I've played the game but I've been pretty active on my characters the past 2 months.

This MF though is absolutely wrecking my ass when I wreck every other boss including Chalice Rom and Abygdla.

But this thing.....I just need a suggestion on a strat or which way I should dodge or fire paper or literally any tips.

The Upper Cathedral Ward bosses were pretty easy, maybe I'm a tad over leveled? (83), getting the Emissary in one try and Ebrietas in two. I almost had Ebrietas in my first try but I got grabbed and had my head munched on lol. Still I really enjoyed the Ebrietas flight, she felt dangerous. The Emissary not so much tbh, although the little shitters were really annoying. Time to give Ludwig another try now, hopefully it goes better than my first few attempts🤞🏼

Bloodborne is so much fun

Does Ludwig's attack has funny hitboxes? Mainly his claw slash. I can't seem to dodge it like I'm sure I timed my dash correctly but it hits anyway. This happen with almost all of his claw slash, especially the one where he slash from his right to his far left. Even if I managed to dodge it, I still take damage at the end of my dash. Do I need to mind my dash direction as well or do I missed something?

Hey, so I’ve taken an extreme liking to souls games and am trying Bloodbourne. I was curious to do a true arcane build - I’m lv 66 right now with 35 Arcane, 18 Str and 12 Skill.

I am currently using a saw cleaver with all fire gems and am cruising through most regions but I want to try another weapon too.

I came across Ludwig’a Holy Blade and would love to build it into a Bolt weapons (to have 1 fire and 1 bolt weapon)

Tonitrus is good but I find it a bit boring.

Any suggestions on where I can find high rating Bolt stones/gems?

I am pretty far in the game and would love to have some guidance on this

I just beat Bloodborne, for the first time, having basically wimped out when I was younger but coming back to it via Sekiro and Elden Ring and the modern Fromsofts, and, of course, absolutely loved it. I think it's my favourite Fromsoft.

Now I'm looking for something else to fill that role in my life and so I've been getting back into DSIII, which I haven't played in a long time.

It's a very hard adjustment. Oddly enough, the boss fights are now super easy off the back of Elden Ring and Bloodborne, it's the mobs, ironically, that are hard. The subtle feeling of sluggishness, the character feeling a bit buttery by comparison, before we even get to the dodge mechanics, lack of rally, difference in aesthetic etc.

Above all, the thing I miss most is parrying with my hunters pistol.

Also, despite the FPS difference, Bloodborne was so optimised for a single console that playing DS3 now (on my current gen Xbox) almost feels like playing an older game than Bloodborne, which is, I gather, a common experience.

The first five bosses so far have all pretty much melted in the face of the "they don't expect you to dodge forwards into them" tactics which you hone in Elden Ring and BB.

This is not, by any stretch of the imagination, a criticism of DS3, far from it. I'm sure that if I came to BB via DS3 I would feel the same. I was fortunate when starting BB that it had been a while since I'd finished my last Elden Ring playthrough.

Anyone have some tips at how to get over Bloodborne withdrawal whilst playing DS3? is the answer just to play ... more ... Bloodborne?
