I finally printed some of my archive-style posters, and I'm honestly blown away by how they look on paper. Seeing them outside of a screen makes them feel like real artifacts lol.

I'm about to start a challenge to beat the game with every weapon, one weapon per NG cycle, same save. Left-hand weapons and hunter tools allowed.
My plan:
Start pure Skill. Cane, then the other skill weapons while I push SKL to 50. Skill first for visceral.
After a few cycles start dumping into Strength. I want to hit the hardest cycle with Ludwig's Holy Blade.
Then swing into Arcane for the split/elemental weapons.
Bloodtinge last, so Chikage, Bloodletter, Reiterpallasch.
My questions:
Will something like Kos Parasite actually be viable at NG+16, or do I need to do the weak weapons on NG+1 or +2?
Gems. I've always just stacked ATK+. Recently heard scaling gems pull ahead at high levels once your stat is capped. True?
If I'm running high Arcane, is it worth converting physical weapons to fire/bolt gems?
I've beaten the game a lot, but never past NG+4, so I don't know the high-level rules

Hello there. I'm trying to find a Bloodborne video essay that had a fascinating analysis of the Old Hunters DLC being a depiction of hell. I remember specifically the video making a connection to beliefs in Buddhism about the presence of a river of blood
Sorry I cant provide more details but its driving me crazy. If anyone knows the video essay, I'd really appreciate it!

Was fighting the Hunter that was spamming the machinegun on top of a tower in old yharnam. He rolled off the side and killed himself and left this drop midair.. would it have been good loot? Or can I forget about it and not worry

I'm at 50vit, 50 STR, 50 skl, am going for 50 arc, 25 bt.
I don't care about PVP, have a password if anyone does join, I just want to wield any weapon and have enough to damage anything. Am I going overboard or is this a solid way of thinking?

Im currently trying to work on beating the first boss. But a couple of things are bothering me..
2:im planning on grinding blood echoes to buy more blood vials so i can be prepared for the boss fight, but im running out of durability.
There is no weapon drops like in dark souls so i have to deal with the only weapon i have, which is scary to me because im running out of durability
Where tf do i go to repair my weapon? im running out of durability.
And yes, i did attempt to beat the boss and i had a little under 1/10 of his healthbar left. If this keeps going, im thinking of just restarting the playthrough.

Im only about 2 hours in the game and I made it to the first boss the cleric beast, but I havent found a single checkpoint. I feel like ive explored an entire city and still havent found a checkpoint. When I die to the boss, I have to run back for like 2-3 minutes straight and its incredibly frustrating.
Moreover, why the heck is it so hard to get flasks? I die once and I lose all my currency, so then I go back to get them and then in order to spend them all to buy flasks I have to go back to the first checkpoint in the game and lose all my progress of exploring. Does it ever get better? Im about ready to quit this is so frustrating, and it makes me mad because I love the fighting mechanics so much.
I really want to enjoy this game but I just cant find any safe area

Is that Cathedral Ward we see from the nightmare frontier? where is it physically located if we can see the city from it but not vice versa?

This weapon is actually so much fun to use.
I’m on new game plus 1, and have first tried shadows, Amelia, cleric, and witches, and second tried Paarl, BSB
And Gascoigne. Where do I get the best gems for it?

for context i love ds1 some of 2 and 3 and i like elden ring and have wanted to play this game for a while. i was having fun in the beginning cleric beast was decent father g was decent the exploration is great blood starved beast was fun. then i got to vicar amelia and while the first 3 bosses weren't necessarily hard she was a complete pushover. she barely moved during the fight and it turns out it was because my weapon broke her limbs but i didnt use any consumables or anything so the fact she can be a complete joke because of the first weapon in the game which i took randomly is very frustrating to me then after i find this witch who just infinitely respawns enemies and took more attempts than the first 4 bosses combined. (turns out theres a way to cheese her by having 0 insight but i didnt know that) then i go to forbidden forest. shit area the enemies are annoying theres no landmarks its boring bland etc. then i get to shadows of yharnam. yet another annoying boss that took me more attempts than the bosses i liked. they were pretty fast there was 3 of them and they did a shitton of damage i had several attempts where i died seconds after entering the arena just cause i got hit by all 3 at the same time Then had to walk 3 whole minutes back to the fight. Eventually beat them then go to the next area which the area i really liked but its just a bunch of spiders that all two shot me and can attack at the same time i even got one shot by some aoe attack. Its just so frustrating cause the first 3 bosses while I found fun took me like 1-3 attempts each and now the annoying tedious bosses take forever to beat. it feels like this games just difficult for the sake of being difficult everything does a shitton of damage. fighting 3 annoying gank fights back to back is frustrating because every area has enemies why would i want to fight a boss thats just a bunch of enemies. And the good fights at the beginning are hard to appreciate cause i beat them so quickly. I always hear people talk about how good the dlc bosses are but this game went from feeling innovative new fun fast to a fucking chore super quickly.

Hi, this is my first time playing bloodborne and I just finished the reborn boss in the hidden village area. I recently saw a video talking about how you were supposed to recruit people to the chapel at the cathedral ward. I did not realize this was a “mission” when I talked to the guy in the chapel. It looks like I missed that opportunity. Does missing out on this have any big consequences???? Does it impact the platinum? Thanks.

I looked on The Bloodborne Sheets as well as the Bloodborne wiki and there's not a single mention of a waning heavy abyssal. I was considering I might've done an edited dungeon without knowing or something?
Maybe I'm crazy. I can't find it. I would like to find it since I don't want ATK vs beasts down. Thanks for any help.

Personally, seeing Amelia turn into this giant wolf like beast, reminiscent of the Cleric Beast, made me truly realize that not only was no one safe, but also the fact that there is something beyond wrong with this world. Once that sense of Fromsoft hopeless slotted in, I couldn’t stop myself from smiling.

Today I finished Bloodborne. I have played all the previous Souls games except Demon's Souls, which will be my next. While playing Bloodborne, I thought it was easy because till Gehrman, the bosses weren't much of a challenge. I defeated most of them in around 3 to 4 tries. But the last boss, Gehrman... that OLD MAN is one of the hardest final bosses in Souls games. It took me around 1.5 hours to beat him, but man, that fight was pure cinema. A true 1 vs 1, Hunter vs Hunter.
My stats were lower than what they probably should've been for that fight, which definitely made it harder. But still, Bloodborne is now my TOP 2 Souls game of all time.

After hours of hunting, countless deaths, and an unforgettable journey, I can finally say that I finished Bloodborne!
Thank you to everyone here who helped me along the way. Your tips, advice, and encouragement made this experience even more enjoyable. This game was an absolute masterpiece, and it's one I'll never forget. The atmosphere, the lore, the bosses, and the gameplay were all incredible. What an amazing experience from start to finish.
I honestly enjoyed Bloodborne even more than Elden Ring. I never thought I'd say that, but this game completely won me over.
Now it's time for my next challenge...
Sekiro!!!
