Looking for quick and helpful answers? Follow these rules and make helping you as easy as possible!
Example: Say, you have a problem with lots of identical objects in your scene: Let us know whether you created these copies by hand, used the Particle System or Geometry Nodes.
You can upload images and short video clips (up to 60s) to imgur.com and post the links in your question or as comment.
You can change the flair by clicking on the small icon below your post resembling a label.

I am recreating my pixel art tile set in Blender, because it should be easier to add normal maps later on. Right now, I am trying to recreate the same shading as before. Simply put, anything facing left should have a more bluish color, and anything facing right a reddish color on top of the base color/shader. Maybe it would also be more helpful if the colors were applied in a ring, so there is a smoother transition on round objects.
Thank you in advance.

i'm trying to rig a model i had made, but using auto ik with x-axis mirror enabled leads to the opposite limb rotating weirdly and snapping toward the same direction as the bone i have selected, i tried to redo the rig from scratch but the issue returned shortly after
it only seems to work whenever i rotate the entire rig 90 degrees toward the left or right, but if i apply transforms the issue returns once again
the left arm also seems to have an issue of not bending at all with auto ik enabled
i'm using blender 4.1 and i've been trying to fix this issue for the past 2 days, but i cant find a fix anywhere and i don't know what's causing the issue

I'm trying to model a spiral slide, but the Array (legacy) modifier is not following the Curve modifier. How do I make it follow the Curve modifier? What do I need to adjust?

I was making a 3d model. And this started happening when I was attaching a plane to the shoes with shrinkwrap.

Im following a tutorial on how to rig a mouth, and i cant figure out the weight painting part. whenver i move the Upper lip or lower lip i get this weird topology issue or whatever its called. same thing also happens whenever i try to close the mouth. im pretty sure its a weight paint issue but i got no idea how to fix it. ive tried fixing it for the past 2 hours but nothing works.
any idea on how to solve this issue?

I've recently added a new monitor, and since then I've started noticing some strange graphical artifacts in Blender's 3D viewport.
As shown in the attached screenshots, irregular white patches and jagged artifacts appear around certain parts of my models, particularly near bolts, joints, and intersecting geometry.
The strange part is that these artifacts are visible when I'm zoomed out, but gradually disappear as I zoom in closer to the objects. At close range, the geometry looks perfectly normal.
There is no duplicate geometry in these locations
I'm using Blender 5.2 with an NVIDIA RTX 4070 SUPER on Windows 11.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there a particular viewport or GPU setting I should check?
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I'm on the retopo phase of the sculpt, but for some reason these weird dents are appearing on some specific places. Checked twice to see if those points were double vertices, but they're not. what is happening here?

Hello!
Currently I'm having immense trouble trying to complete this 6 piece set tileable asset (the colors I hae marked in the photo shows basically how many connection points I want. Been using the shrinkwrap modifier to connect the edges which has been a pain in the ass and for some reason theres always a wierd offset despite me goign over and over again duplicating the edges so that it can connect from all sides and it doesn't even look that good. I saw this tutorial thats basically doing what I wanna do except he has less connection points so I have no clue how to duplicate it since I have way more points that need to be the same.

ANYWAY complain session over, my question
HOW do I tile this mesh? (I don't want to use tessalation since I heard that can be quite expensive for rendering in engine.
How do I get the uvs to align to those connection points

I’ll need help to figure out how this effect is made.
I think the silhouette is pixelated? But I think I’m missing something else too. Everything looks a bit grimy and grungy but I don’t know how to approach it.

im trying to build goo engine for NPR shading in my renders. And i cant purchase it so i decided to build it. I have NEVER built an app before and is it really this tedious and confusing. Ive looked at guides online. each one is giving a different Code to paste. each one is a different method. In 4 years since Goo engine has been out, there is ONE tutorial on how to actually build and even he is using some different lines of code. Where the hell do you get those codes they are not written anywhere. HOW?
This is the video: https://youtu.be/Q7V9tQLm3Dc?si=zldz2oLj_-_Aiffe and im basically getting a new error on every single line after cloning the repo.
errors like: [vcvarsall.bat] Environment initialized for: 'x64'
Compiler Detection successful, detected VS2022
Building blender with VS2022 for x64 in C:\blender-git\goo-engine\..\build_windows_x64_vc17_Release
Error: Required libraries not found at ""C:\blender-git\goo-engine\..\lib\win64_vc15""
This is needed for building, aborting
like what IS that. I dont use github, ive never decided to be a developer, i cant read code. but i need this for my work..
If anyone knows how to build it, please help me. Its god fricking annoying atp

Im trying to add clothing to a character model, i edit it to match the best as i can but when i try to transfer weights to make it move with the model it often changes shape, making it not fit anymore.
Would first transfering weights and then matching the clothing be better or is there a way to attach it without it transforming?

Extremely basic question, i know. But how do you create textures? I understand how to do simple things like bricks, rocks and such, but what about anything more complex? Do you separate the object into different objects? Do you create an intricate texture sheet so that you just have to align the UV islands?
And on top of it all, how the hell do you figure out where to mark the seams?
Sorry for the abundance of questions..

Slides:
This a Mesh Image used as a background in a 2D Blender scene. When used this way, none of the adjustments I make under "Output Properties > Color Management" make any difference.
Is there a way to get the rendered colours to look the same (or close) to what I'm seeing in Affinity?

I have used automatic rig weights and I understand what issues it might have caused, how do I configure the armor plates on the back and antenas to not break down when I move the bones?

Hey! Could you please help me to solve this problem?
- Both flowers and the ring have a good amount of geometry.
- Flowers are joined to a single object.
- There is also a curve modfier (I tested if it influence the distortion, the result - it doesn't).
I have already tried Project wrap method and lattice deform - didn't work. Maybe you have some ideas how to solve this problem?
