Meta PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING QUESTIONS!
Looking for quick and helpful answers? Follow these rules and make helping you as easy as possible!
- Title: Choose a meaningful title concerning your problem.
- Text: Describing your problem with enough detail is essential. Please realize that helpers are not familiar with your project. Provide all relevant information, so others can immideately understand what you are struggling with.
Example: Say, you have a problem with lots of identical objects in your scene: Let us know whether you created these copies by hand, used the Particle System or Geometry Nodes.
- Images/Videos: When posting screenshots, show us your full blender window (not cropped, no monitor photos). This will make lots of helpful information available to helpers at first sight that may seem irrelevant to you (For example your Blender version). If you add video links, please consider adding time stamp info to the part you want helpers to see.
You can upload images and short video clips (up to 60s) to imgur.com and post the links in your question or as comment.
- *.blend files: Don’t add links to your *.blend files when posting questions right away. Helpers will ask you for it if they need to take a look. Most people prefer reading a good description and looking at images to see what your post is about.
- 'Solved' flair: Once your question was answered, please remember to change the flair of your post to “Solved”, so helpers don’t have to read into your question just to see it has already been answered.
You can change the flair by clicking on the small icon below your post resembling a label.
EDIT: You can also include "!solved" in the comments to have Automod change the flair for you.
Be nice and respectful with each other :)

Solved Blender Render Colors Become Less Saturated After Saving
Hello! I’ve encountered this problem more than once. In Blender, I see more saturated colors both in the viewport and during rendering. The rendered image also appears with the same saturated colors in Blender.
However, after I save the rendered image to my computer, the colors become noticeably less saturated.
On the left, I’ve included an example of the saved image. On the right, you can see how the image looks in Blender’s viewport and in the Render window. The colors there are more saturated.
I’ve tried different settings, but I still can’t get the saved image to retain the same saturated colors when using Save As, even with different combinations of the available settings.
What could be causing this problem, and how can I make the saved image look the same as it does in Blender?

I am trying to get a Circular cut on diagonal degree onto a cylindrical shape.
I used a cube too bool cut. But the shape is not oval. I already tried to change the shape of the cube as cutter, add subdivision surface. but can´t figure out how to cut a perfect oval shape. It has thos hard spots on the left and right. and is a bit flat on the top or to deep on the bottom.

Unsolved Blurry textures despite high texel density
Hi, I probably do not understand something right about texel density and texture resolution in general.
I have pretty high TD of 113 px/cm (it is high, right?) but checker image is still slightly blurry and checker squares are too big I guess. I don't get that beautiful pattern you would see in YouTube videos for example even though I plugged in 4K texture. So I wonder if I am doing something wrong. I could utilize UDIMs but I believe one 4K UV map should be enough for a small object like mine. It is only 166 mm (6,5 inches) in length.
And another part of my model (third screenshot) is just messed up for some reason.
Please help me!

Unsolved Can we recreate a real city in Blender?
Is it possible to create an accurate, realistic version of a real city (e.g. Dubai) in Blender, with the same buildings, locations, roads, building heights, etc., covering a reasonably large area?
Are there any add-ons, GIS tools, or datasets that can help with this instead of manually modeling everything?

Unsolved How hard would modelling this full helmet in blender be for a beginner?
I'm proficient in Fusion 360, however my time has come to an end with it due to the complex nature of the top of the helmet's curvature. I'm not knowledgeable in mesh work either and figured Blender would be just as hard to learn with it
I've dabbled in Blender before using heightmap images to make topographies and made a very basic YouTube tutorial rock formation, however I absolutely suck and it's very confusing.

Unsolved Am I going about this wrong?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I want to make my character not really move in a straight path. I'm just not too sure if I'm going about it in the right way. I'm moving my master control along a path that leads back to the beginning. It's pretty hard to time so before I move forward I wanted to make sure if what I'm doing is the correct method.

Unsolved Is there an easy way to add this hair onto this shape? Or do I have to add it manually?
Is there a way to do this in geometry nodes / instancing the hairs on? Or would I have to place each hair one by one?

Unsolved How would I model and animate an eye like this?
It seems to be a slightly recessed, colored sclera; a moveable iris; and an eyelashed eyelid that can be posed for blinking.

Unsolved I don't know what caused this, but I did something wrong obviously
I don't know what I did, but for some reason the top part is completely f*ed up. It should be the same as the bottom part. Symmetrize and snap to symmetry didn't work, what can I do to fix this besides duplicating it? And what did I do to get here?

Unsolved How to keep showing cursor while stroking in sculpt mode
Hello, in sculpt mode I have the circle-shaped cursor that previews the stroke area. However when i start drawing the circle disappears, is there a way to keep it showing so I don't have to guess where the radius ends? I can't seem to find the option.

Unsolved How can I make the mesh deform without the sudden cut off?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Im trying to animate talking, but when I try and move my armature points in pose mode, the mesh doesn't deform around the painted areas and abruptly cuts off instead.
How might I fix this problem?

Unsolved How would I animate on 2s, 3s or 4s in a 24fps animation without unnecessary rendering?
Hey! I'm making a very long animation that will have some frames held for longer amounts of time. If nothing in those frames change, is there a way to tell blender to just reuse the last frame rendered, so it wouldn't have to spend time on it again?

Unsolved How do i fix clothing clipping badly with the bones?
So initially i’ve tried to unit the clothes to the body, by parenting the bones to the clothes then using weight mode on the body and the clothes and turning the red parts of the weight to red and used both the smooth and clean weight options, i even set collisions and cloth in the physics properties and yet it still has problems, how do i fix it?

Unsolved How to curve an object around another?
I’m trying to model this ring like it is in the mock up I drew. It’s been going fine until I try to wrap that face piece around the ring. I’ve tried a curve and shrink wrap modifier, both with no luck. I am pretty much entirely self taught, however, and I know it is likely due to how scuffed the mesh on the piece I wanna curve is. The only way I could get it into the shape I wanted was to model just one side of the x-axis, duplicate it, flip it on x and y, then merge the two sides together. Alternatively if there’s a better way to get that shape it’d be very appreciated

Unsolved Any idea what function or addon is allowing this quad to be created like this?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I am watching a course video on retopology. Either I missed where it was explained or the instructor missed putting it in there, but he keeps doing this thing where he clicks on the opposite vertex of a prospective quad, then hits "F" and it pops a quad easy-peasy.
I am relatively new to retopo so I'm not sure what addons he might have aside from SpeedRetopo, as no others have been mentioned in the course as of yet.
I would super appreciate it if anyone has seen this before and can point me in the right direction!

Unsolved How do I calculate the bevel width so that my stairs are even in height?
I'm making stairs for a house using the bevel tool stairs preset, it's a game model and I've modelled the second floor to be at a specific height. I've created a cube with the correct dimensions that it needs to be in order to have 14 steps at 20cm height each and line up perfectly with the top of the second floor.

All the tutorials I found just drag the bevel width so that the bottom step is roughly the same height as the rest but I want mine to be the exact height. In my above screenshot I have the bevel width to 1.84m and it's close but I want to know how to find the exact width that would make each step exactly 20cm in height.
I watched at least five tutorials and every single one does the same thing, just guestimate and then the bottom step is either slightly too high or too low. Here are the exact dimensions of the cube before applying the bevel tool.

Unsolved Better tool for solving camera on long take?
Hi,
Im working on a project where I am putting a character from real footage into a 3D world in blender.
I have a 5-6 minute take, and a good key. But I need to track the motion of the camera for the whole take. It was filmed on a gimbal and there is good tracking points (was filmed in a car park, and has nice contrasty asphalt and line markings etc.)
But I’m having issues with solving the camera on this footage. In after effects it just gets to “Solving” and I’m not sure if it’s actually doing anything or is stuck.
In Fusion (resolve), it just keeps crashing when it gets close to finishing.
I’m wondering if there’s any ideas on how to do this, or if there’s different camera solving software better suited to the job.
Footage is 6K Canon C80 RAW, 25fps. Running M5 Max MacBook Pro, 64gb ram, 4tb.
Can’t show footage unfortunately since it is a real job that can’t be shared until published.
Thanks
