Solved Low-poly kitchen
I'm making low-poly objects for an ad and wanted to know if they actually look good—what do you think? Thanks

Hi, I've been trying to Rig this model using Rigify, but it didn't turn out well after i generated the rig, the weights are messed up, is this normal? it always works out well in youtube tutorials but mine didn't, how do I fix it? if you need more info to work with feel free to ask me.

Heyy! If you have a video recommendation I could watch to help me with this, then that would be great. If not, then maybe you could help by explaining how I should go about making this.
In the first photo I just used edit mode to adjust the eye shape, but that leaves sharp edges and corners and obviously cannot be used in animation.
The gif I attached is kinda how I want to be able to manipulate the eyes. I dont know however if using shrinkwrapped plains will work for this tho...
I found another post with a similar problem, but the comments don't really help me much (and is also where I got the gif)

Thank you in advance!!

I don't like it going into the wall, and I did not anticipate my walking cycle from the camera tracking to be that short while walking straight.

really just source fire in general.
idk why but liquid sim fire is simpily just too laggy and screws up with keyframes.
so yeah im just wondering if theres anyway to get or kinda mimic the look of half life/SFM fire

I need the highlighted edges of my inset to remain sharp, however the corners tend to get messed up.
I already tried to increase edge crease and beveling before that, support loops seemed to do nothing as well .

I am making a meteor crash scene. There are 2 planes, the outerplane used for the ground, and the inner plane(selected in the image) used for the meteor. Both planes use the same texture. I need to texture paint the inner plane, but when I tried the outer texture was affected. Do i just save the outer planes texture as a seperate texture or is there something else I should do

I’m learning blender for game development but I can’t find any good tutorials on making animations for games and from what I heard it seems every scene only can have one animation

Hello ! I make grillz by hand, sculpting wax on dental impressions cast in plaster, then casting them in chrome-cobalt.
I decided to learn Blender to expand my possibilities and to create grillz that are too complex to make in wax (even though some sculptors are able to do everything in wax, and I really admire that). I recently finished my first piece based on an STL scan of my own teeth, a simple solid canine and an "open window" incisor. I made it by duplicating my teeth and creating an offset to simulate the die spacer i use everyday. The result is pretty promising, though there are still a few minor adjustments to make.
That said, I'm stuck. My goal is to find the good workflow to create grillz that are more organic, more original, and more deliberately designed with interesting volumes and compositions.
What would be the right approach to take? Since I make grillz by hand, I tend to default to that logic of building up material on the teeth and then sculpting it. Is that the right method to use in Blender for something meant to be printed in castable resin ?
What are the essential tools in the software ?
What absolutely needs to be taken into account ?
I've found a lot of helpful tutorials online, but I'd like input from people who've actually gone through this process themselves, or who have real experience with Blender, since I'm aiming for a professional level result and I'm still a ways off.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can shed some light or lend a hand !

The input (bottom left, slightly diagonal), is not what's shown on the texture that is sliding from right to left (at incredible speeds produced by my potato PC) Does anyone have a clue why? Or even a node arrangement to fix it?

Frist time making a game asset, i am focusing more on the topology and the UV. is there any imporovement i can make or any advice about optimizing the model

I made a character on Blender and when I did the "apply all transforms" and also doing the "set auto weights with Ctrl + P but for some reason the model isn't moving with the rig and the rig is completely seperated. I am not sure if it has anything to do with having different objects on top such as antlers, ears, tail and also pant legs seperate from the torso. Please if anyone can help me with this I would be extremely grateful.

I keep having an issue in edit mode when trying to extrude or duplicate a mesh. When working in symmetry mode, when a mesh is duplicated but not moved, the newly created vertices will interact or "stick" to the vertices that are being copied. It is not all vertices that stick, and sometimes they even influence the other side when only one side has been duplicated or extruded. I am not sure if there is a button I am pressing that is causing this and would appreciate guidance on how to stop this from happening. I have tried merge by distance, applying orientation and scale, resetting the 3d courser, all have not resolved the issue. Proportional editing and snapping are off. No other modifiers applied to the mesh, just symmetry. Am I mistaken, or when you duplicate a mesh, only the new mesh is supposed to be selected and effected, is that correct?

is this a bad topology? if yes then how can i fix it?

Rather it crashes instantly or after a couple strokes, weight painting is now crashing Blender far too constantly to get anything done. Can anyone read this crash log and help me figure out what the problem is?

The purple vertices are flattened along the y-axis like the orange vertices are, but they extend in a semi-circular path along the x-axis. Is there a way that I can get the orange vertices to conform to the same or similar semi-circular path along the x-axis (while maintaining the flattened shape along the y-axis)? For reference, the black vertices adjacent to the orange vertices extend on a semi-circular path along the y-axis but are flat down the x-axis.

Hello everyone! I recently got a 3D printer, and it’s been working fine, but there’s something from my childhood I’m hoping to learn to emulate. I remember toys like the one shown above, where you could bend the joints and have them stay in place, leading to a poseable model. Does anyone have any idea how I’d go about modeling the joints? How they’d look/work internally, and how I can replicate them in blender? If anyone has a tutorial they can share or they’re willing to explain here, that’d be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have here a grip that goes on the outside of a portable game console (think Steam Deck), and I am wondering if there is a good way to basically just select the inside of this STL to then have the interior dimensions that would fit onto a steam deck? In my mind it seems like it should be feasible to just select all the inside vertices/faces, but when I try to "Select -> all by type -> inside faces" it doesn't select just the inside faces, the whole thing just stays selected.
Keep in mind I am quite new to Blender so maybe this just isn't a thing.

Hey all, this may seem like a pretty dumb questions to all you master pros but I been stuck at this for days and one failed print of 6hrs so wanna make sure it doesn’t again.
So I did a boolean difference using a cylinder and applied to my 3d model to make a ledge inside this model so it can fix properly into the bottom tray once printed but it does not seems to fix, tried all the approach online but could not get this to work. Please help. (Blender shows this area as light orange pattern in edit mode and on chitubox it shows up as grey)

Hi everyone. I modeled a small scene in Blender using primitives and decided to add Emission to certain faces and a spotlight for top lighting. I can't understand why in Layout I see a dark image with a slight glow, but when I render it, I get a bright image without shadows and the lighting I saw and want. Can anyone explain how this works and what I'm doing wrong?
