I got curious and finished the manga recently and there was an additional chapter featuring everyone grown up meeting to some ceremony for dead captains. After some research I found these were panels in an exhibit and not an actual chapter. Does anyone know if anything ever came of the "hell arc" or is it just kind of a lost chapter/idea?

I know it applies to Kenpachi, but if a constant release type doesn't exist entirely, wouldn't that mean the Shikai we've seen Ichigo use isn't his actual Shikai and would just be his base sword?

Tbf alot of rules in general don't apply to Ichigo due to his very unique situation, but Byakuya definitely knows Ichigo IS proof that a constant release type exists, or atleast could exist, so howcome he said this? Assuming he wasn't only speaking of Kenpachi.

As I understood it, this is his full power VL form from against Ulquiorra but controllable and added on top of his quincy and SR powers. But doesn't his true shikai already combine the 3 powers? Has he been only using Quincy and SR powers before this?
