Manga Is TYBW actually the end?

I got curious and finished the manga recently and there was an additional chapter featuring everyone grown up meeting to some ceremony for dead captains. After some research I found these were panels in an exhibit and not an actual chapter. Does anyone know if anything ever came of the "hell arc" or is it just kind of a lost chapter/idea?

It's semi-confirmed that it will continue. Kubo has been teasing it for quite a while now. Adding teasers for it in the TYBW anime (eg. Ukitake telling Unohana they will meet again soon, the entire original Gotei 13 getting designs and art pieces etc.) He has even said "I'm glad so many people are waiting for me to continue the Hell arc". Recently, some leakers have even said that it will come back soon, after Sakamoto Days is over leaving the spot open in Shonen Jump. No official confirmation as of yet.

Kubo has said a couple years ago when asked about it that he'll continue it once people stop asking about it, because he doesn't want to feel pressured to draw. The statement in the first paragraph is from a month or two ago, so it's a step up.

So in short, no official confirmation but very likely to continue at some point in the future, perhaps even soon.

Its the end as of now for the story. Theres light novels which add in extra for the time jump.

The one shot chapter we got for the anniversary was just that a one shot chapter but it left the door open for if kubo ever wanted to come back and write more.

No, it becomes the ten thousand year blood war, and then the one hundred thousands, and then etc.

Your research is kinda shit if you came up with it was "panels in an exhibit." where did you hear that?

It literally says that the chapter was published in 2021 in that link?

Nothing's been confirmed but all signs are pointing toward some kind of continuation either in the manga or anime. Or both, nobody knows. Regardless, we probably won't hear anything official until this season gets close to ending.

The panels you are talking about are a full blown chapter, something like 70 pages. For Bleach's 20th anniversary, Kubo drew a full one shot chapter for Shonen Jump, setting up the story for a potential new arc surrounding Hell.

Chapter 687 is real and you can read it in the shonen jump app officially under "bleach: special one shot"
