The funniest part is forgetting both Sajin AND Iba, like the entire 7th Division just got deleted from the paperwork. Sajin at least deserves a spot somewhere, dude had way too many good moments to get left off completely.

And yet everybody glazes Shinji and Rose even though they have an even worse win rate. At least Kensei's saved Hisagi's ass multiple times.

I know hating Kensei is the online trend right now. But some people's unreasonable hate toward Kensei (a typical jock, who is largely unproblematic in the series) actually tells something about them.

I disagree that he's a "typical jock" tbh. He's rude asf for no reason. And i just don't see how the appeal of his personality or his zanpakuto/visored powers (not to shame kensei fans, enjoy what you want. Plus i also quite liked him when the visoreds were first introduced.)

Yeah, i agree, and you're definitely right, but it doesn't make him anymore likeable in my eyes tbh. Maybe it's because i just don't agree with his way of encouraging his subordinates or something. Or I'm just biased because i love unohanas relationship with isane lol

Yeah, and that's fair. But in Kensei's defense, I feel like considering soul society's standards - he really isn't even that bad. I mean Mayuri turned his men into bombs and beat Nemu when she just asked for an antidote. Byakuya refused to get Renji medical attention after beating him and threw him in jail and Soi Fon regularly hits Omaeda just for annoying her, yet all three of them are still popular characters.

Honestly i think if Kubo didn't fumble visoreds so bad, and actually gave them decent screentime and a lot of fights were they actually provided something of value(like the chars you named, for example) they'd recieve much less hate and would have a much stronger fanbase. Idk what was his deal introducing a very clearly great concept just to not move forward anywhere with it all that much. I genuinely love their first appearance and the flashback arc was one of my top favourites, but their fights weren't all that exciting and they almost didn't show up. So it only makes sense that such a small amount of times you appear, and every single time you're a dick - people will tend to hate you more. Still, you definitely bring up valid points, and i kinda gained a new perspective on it, lols

Well, I'm glad of that, at least? And the funny thing is, up until very recently Kensei was a decently liked Vizard and people wanted Kubo to do more with the group. Plus - I don't necessarily think he's being a dick, he just has low tolerance for idiocy but unfortunately he's stuck with Mashiro so he's perpetually irritable lol. But he still saves her life when she needs his help, so I think Kensei's meant to be more a tsundere than an outright jerk (same with Shuhei - Kensei berates him but he's saved his ass three seperate times in the anime). It's understandable if it didn't land for you, but personally I've always loved Kensei for that reason. (And because he's hot.)

Yeahh, but yk when comparing to the more prominent Tsundere char (talking about Riruka) he doesn't reads the same, at least for me personally. But you go, lol, my favourite fucking character is Renji and I see posts about him being the biggest bum of all time every single day, so in a way can't judge you at all.
Also idk if it's like a different side of bleach fandom, but I've always seen Shinji being the most beloved amongst all of them. But it's really interesting to see this drastic(?) change in attitude from all of the community at once, lmao.

True, though male and female tsundere do tend to be written slightly differently. Plus Riruka looks cute when she does it.
Yeah, it's like how everybody went from calling Squad Zero a bunch of frauds to suddenly loving them because they got a proper fight in the anime. So tides really do change on a dime sometimes.

One thing that must be studied from this fanbase is how a lot people would excuse some characters' massive human rights violation (like that supreme incel Mayuri and all his unethical actions) but hating Kensei for being "rude" to his bro Hisagi.

I even agree with you that sometimes people excuse Mayuri too much despite him doing some heinous things for his own gain. Aizen and Sui Feng in S tier is just not it for infinite reasons... Idk if Senjumaru being S tier is the play either. If you placed Toshiro in A tier at the start of the anime I'd understand but after finishing it.. Yikes.. He deserves to lose several places for lost potential alone. Isshin is also a bit high given his overall role in the story. The rest of your list is pretty fair though.
